Wow,I really had to rub my eyes to see this was from our old buddy Eugene, a top drawer apologist for Obama.

That said,it´s hard to tell if this isn´t just a bunch of false outrage by the left on a policy that´s pretty meaningless in operation.
We also have a black ops base in Saudi Arabia,something the left would have gone bonkers over at one time.

Once in a while the left has to pretend they stand for something righteous,this situation is a freebie.There´s scores of other things Obama´s done that far more outrageous.

Why is Eugene surprised by the drone assassinations? Obama has a record of ignoring the constitution. Does Eugene have a problem with the gun control / gun confiscation programs? What about Obamacare and the violation of Christian beliefs? What about getting the US involved in a war in Libya without Congressional approval? Maybe if the scales are falling off Eugene´s eyes, he´ll want to look around and see the whole picture.

Combine this article with the posting on Breitbart yesterday of Eric Holder saying that Obama has the right to decide who is covered by the 2nd amendment, and we have an extremely bad situation here.

Robinson isn´t really interested in the legal complexities or ethical questions. The giveaway is in his argument for judicial review. If, as he says, a court is just going to be a rubber stamp and approve all requests, ("The practical impact of providing for judicial review in targeting citizens would be almost nil"), what´s the point? No, his real complaint is that it makes scumbama look bad. He wants the court to be scumbama´s beard.

Obama has been walking on the Constitition since 2008 and Eugene just notices? When has the DIC forced anything unpalatable on us by not going around congress, the supreme court and the will of the people?

All of which gives us the legal right to ignore him.

I avoid MSNBC, but I did watch the Ed show and his panelists to see how they were dealing with the drone issue.
I thought several of them were going to choke on their own bile, as they tried to keep down their perceptions. And Ed was almost shy as he nudged his guests on the issue of legality.
It was an almost subtle version of SNL.

The Fifth Amendment to The Constitution states that no one shall "be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law". Sounds nice. But when Bonnie and Clyde were driving down a road in Louisiana they were blown into eternity because they had a habit of depriving others of life. Same for the guy in Alabama who kidnapped that 5 year old boy. If you can save lives by violating someones rights, I´m not going to lose any sleep over it.

HugeWeenie Robinson sure talks big, don´t he? I´ll listen to his ´concern´ when he starts advocating for impeachment.

I have no sympathy for an "American" terrorist doing positive harm to my country meeting with a Hellfire. OTOH, I fear we gave away far too much of our civil liberty in the cause of "security" since 9/11.

Eugene Robinson, and the WaPo, frame their arguments as if the president is targeting U.S. citizens, when in fact targets are on the battlefield in foreign countries where war on Al Queda is underway. I don´t think a person that is conducting war operations against us a U.S. citizen. So Mr. Robinson, take your outrage and go eat some stuffing.

Eugene,Eugene,Eugene, Your ignorance is again on display, we have no Constitutional Rights. Our rights are God given and are unalienable, that means we cannot give them away or sell them and you and your kind have no authority to take them.
And may I suggest, before you try to quote and explain something from the Bill of Rights, that you read the preamble to that Bill to understand what it really is.
