He´s black? Who knew.

I´m a few years younger than Rahm, grew up in the same area and there was no segregation, legal or otherwise, at the beaches they mention. My friends and I would spend all day at these beaches and we never heard anyone use the "n" word and no one gave our diverse (white, Cuban, Asian, black) trouble.

They already made a movie about him, starring Steve Martin. It was called The Jerk!

I lived in Wilmette for a few months, a couple years after little Rahm was at New Trier High School.

And unless it was the maids getting off the train at Green Bay Avenue and Lake Street (about a block from where I lived with family friends), there weren´t a lot of black people hanging around Wilmette.
