Aviation experts say new Iranian stealth
jet is a pathetic hoax that can’t even fly

From the loony regime that just figured how to shoot a monkey into space: Iran now claims it has its own homemade, radar-beating stealth fighter jet. But aviation and defense experts say the tiny one-seater looks like a toy and might not even be able to fly — calling it a “laughable fake.” Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad unveiled the Qaher F313 at a Tehran hangar last week and called it “one of the most advanced” aircraft in the world. But the experts said it was too small for a human pilot —

How many rubber bands does it have?

Rubber bands would be advanced technology, its more along the lines of a paper airplane.

I´m retired AF, but you don´t need to be to come to the same conclusion. It´s too small, looks like the control panel is incomplete and without detail, and maybe the canopy wouldn´t close without hitting the pilot´s head. It looks a lot like the gasoline driven mini F-16s AF recruiters use to drive kids around in at air shows, for pete´s sake! How pathetic.

I´m not sure they have any fighter pilots willing to fly against our jets. I remember the Iraqi pilots were quick to get out of the way too.

Is that model cement all over the canopy? Somebody´s been doing a little sniffing.

Obamacare and global warming are both a worse hoax than the Iranian monkey in space or their stealth jet. So why are WE laughing.

The common thread here is both Iran and the U.S. have a press complicit in perpetrating frauds on the citizens; Iran by force and here voluntarily.

Too small for a human pilot, but maybe it was tailored to fit OckmaDinnerjacket.

Ahmadinejad lies 24-7. It´s what he does best. If the jet was real there´d have been close ups.

How do you make an Iranian airliner? Balsa wood and rubber bands.

I am no aviation expert.

However, this appears to be a fiberglass mockup. From what I can see, is there is no latch on the front of the canopy, therefore, closure the for canopy would all be forced from the rear; I don´t see how torquing down on the rear of a canopy that looks like that would allow for any kind of sealing or closure at speed.

Iran possesses a most potent and unanswerable stealth weapon against the US. It resides at 1600 Penn. Av.

A "Stealth fighter jet"? W-a-a-a-y-y beyond their reach.

"[T]he Qaher F313....

First, the Muslim world has to solve its endless "U" shortage ["Qaher"].

#6: Yeah, an Iranian scam all right. No competent model kit builder uses cement to attach a canopy, not even solvent cement [the vapors craze the clear styrene]. And applying Future floor wax to the model´s canopy is a must for improving the verisimilitude. Amateurs! [In the worst sense, that is.]

What I didn´t understand was the part about putting "Islam out into space"?

Isn´t that where it´s been for 500 years?

At least nine cars were torched and two schools and a police station were set ablaze as riots swept through Stockholm´s immigrant-dominated suburbs early Friday for the fifth straight night, police and firefighters said. The riots, which have shattered Sweden´s image abroad as a peaceful and egalitarian nation, have sparked a debate about the assimilation of immigrants, who make up about 15 percent of the population. Many of the immigrants who have arrived due to the country´s generous refugee policy struggle to learn the language and find employment, despite numerous government programmes.

Giving a speech on counter-terrorism policy at the National Defense University in Washington, D.C., today, President Barack Obama explained that when deciding whether to target terrorists with drones—whether or not the terrorists are U.S. citizens—he has set a “high threshold” of respect for human life. “But the high threshold that we have set for taking lethal action applies to all potential terrorist targets, regardless of whether or not they are American citizens,” Obama said. “This threshold respects the inherent dignity of every human life.”

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. Nuland´s nomination -- which requires Senate confirmation -- could come under scrutiny from Republicans who see her as playing a central role in shaping

Anthony Weiner’s New York mayoral candidacy was only made more improbable today after he revealed that he visited a Houston psychiatric facility following his resignation from Congress in 2011. Haunted by scandal surrounding his sexually explicit online communications with women, the Democratic former congressman sought treatment for his compulsive behavior from mental health professionals at the Gabbard Center. According to its website, the facility provides “3-day outpatient psychiatric evaluation,” particularly to “professionals who are in personal or professional crises.” While Weiner did not disclose

MARK LEVIN: So why didn´t Chairman Issa hold an investigative hearing a year ago? Why didn´t Chairman Camp, all Republicans, hold an investigative hearing a year ago, and all the other tripping over themselves right now? I´ll tell you why. Because the establishment Republicans, the RINO Republicans, despise the Tea Party. They despise the conservative movement. We exist to be managed, to be shuttled to the polling place, to vote for their candidates. The Karl Roves of the world, and all the rest of them. They fight us in the primaries, they fight us at the grassroots.

Fox News chief Roger Ailes has sent a memo to his subordinates at the leading cable news network. He sent this memo to his staff today in connection with the federal investigation into an alleged leak to Fox News reporter James Rosen, a story that the Washington Post’s Ann E. WASHINGTON —In a dramatic departure from existing White House procedures, President Obama requested today that his staff start cc’ing him on stuff. “Look, I know a lot of you think I’m really busy and you don’t want to bother me,” the President reportedly told his staff in an Oval Office meeting. “But cc me anyway. It’s good for me to keep up on what’s going on around here.” “It’s not good when I turn on the news and they’re talking about something at the White House and I’m like, whoa, when did that happen?”
