Why President Obama is about

State of the Union address

In four days, President Obama will deliver his State of the Union address, an annual speech before Congress that is arguably the most important one a president is tasked with giving. And for Obama, this particular speech may end up being the most important State of the Union of his entire presidency. In a nutshell, this is the speech that is best-suited to embody the ideas of Obama’s presidency. Whereas Obama’s previous State of the Union speeches have been delivered in the shadow of the previous administration or an upcoming election, and future speeches will be likely be

I refuse to watch an insufferable incompetent with a boulder-sized chip on his shoulder. This nightmare is just beginning.

SOTU and the Oscars are very close on the calendar. Both are overhyped and overanalyzed. Both are appalling displays of autoerotica. Both are hailed as historic when they are quickly forgotten even by the participants.

George Will says the whole thing should be scrapped and that a note from the president would suffice. I agree, unless the format can be changed from its smarmy love-in to a Prime Mnister´s Questions type debate. It would be worth these long years to see Obama grilled mercilessly.

Here is the short version of what he will say:

"i am going to take apart your country because its unfair for some to have a lot and others to have little, so you are going to get screwed over to pay for all of the things I want to do, the Constitution be damned".

There is NOTHING important that PurpleLipps can ever say other than "I resign".

Let´s play the drinking game with the word(s) ´fair´ and ´unfair´. We don´t have to watch the pundits after the speech, or Morning Joe the next day. We all know this will be the best speech Obama has ever given.

I, uh Me, Me uh, I Me My, My Me uh, ta My I I My Me. That is just the rough draft of the first sentence. He will throw in some filler words to give it length and an appearance of accomplishment.

What Barack Obama says in his SOTU speech is irelevent. We now know who he is and what he intends to do to this country. It only remains to figure out what to do to stop the whole destruction of our way of life.

Electing a whole new congress would be a start! Maybe they would have the courage to impeach this worthless excuse for a human being!

The only way I would watch it would be if we knew he was going to resign, which he should after yesterdays testimony on Libya on 9/11/12.

With approximately one-third of congressional committees preoccupied with investigating Obama corruption – from Benghazi-gate, to the IRS scandal, to Obamacare propaganda – the First Family might be tempted to escape to some far away location for vacation. As Judicial Watch knows all too well, this is something the Obamas have done with some frequency since taking office in 2009, and largely on the taxpayers’ dime. WASHINGTON — The Obama administration’s efforts to raise private money to carry out the president’s health care law have provoked such a strong partisan uproar that potential donors have become skittish about contributing, according to several people involved in the fund-raising program. White House officials said they did not sign off on the fund-raising calls made by Kathleen Sebelius, the secretary of health and human services, but were generally aware that she would be seeking support from outside groups. Two House committees have begun investigating the solicitations. Five senior Republicans from the Senate and the House

In some states, more than three-quarters of residents were born in that state. In others, fewer than 40 percent of residents are native-born. Here´s a look, via a recent University of Virginia analysis, of which states (plus D.C.) have the most, and least, native-born residents, according to 2010 Census data. The 10 states with the highest percent of residents who were born there (percent of residents who are natives in parenthesis): 1. Louisiana (78.8) -2. Michigan (76.6) -3. Ohio (75.1) -4. What did President Obama do on the evening of 9/11/12 when our men were under attack in Benghazi? The invaluable Andrew McCarthy reminds us that Obama and Secretary Clinton had a 10:00 p.m. phone call of which many (including, I think, Chris Wallace) have lost sight. This morning when Wallace asked Obama aide Dan Pfeiffer what Obama was up to that evening, Pfeiffer declared the line of inquiry “offensive.” Translation: Obama and his minions would prefer to “move on” and are warning the likes of FNC off:(Snip for video)The Weekly Standard’s Daniel Halper has posted the rush transcript

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Friday urged congressional leaders to raise the debt limit and insisted that the White House is not going to negotiate over the increase because lawmakers have "no choice." "We will not negotiate over the debt limit," Lew wrote. "The creditworthiness of the United States is non-negotiable. The question of whether the country must pay obligations it has already incurred is not open to debate." Lew said that while President Obama is willing to discuss plans to reduce the nation´s deficit with Congress, those talks must be kept separate from any effort to raise the nation´s debt cap.
