offer of direct talks

Iran´s highest authority, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, on Thursday slapped down an offer of direct talks made by U.S. Vice President Joe Biden this week, saying they would not solve the problem between them. "Some naive people like the idea of negotiating with America, however, negotiations will not solve the problem," Khamenei said in a speech to officials and members of Iran´s air force carried on his official website. "If some people want American rule to be established again in Iran, the nation will rise up to face them," he said.

Comments:
How startling this is. s/o The fact that this pathetic regime even thinks they can talk to these delusional maniacs is terrifying. Heaven help us all.

The mullahs will offer to negotiate AFTER they have terrorized their neigbors and achieved hegemony in the Gulf. Perhaps they´ll also nuke Tel Aviv just to prove they can.

I don´t blame him. I couldn´t endure ´direct talks´ with Biden either.

You don´t negotiate with Khamanei you scare him. Tell him a cruise missile is headed his way. He´ll run for the airport with his gold. When Tehran was overrun during the Ashura protests in 2009 there were rumors he had three planes at the airport waiting so he could flee.

All world leaders know Obama is behind the Arab Spring invasions, to intentionally create WW havoc. He has no credibility and less respect, as they know he is a Saudi Prince/Muslim Brotherhood Puppet. They don´t even want our borrowed money anymore.

If we had a State Dept. we would have kept this announcement under the table until the right answer was assured.

Amateurs.

If we nuked a few ´facilities´ this afternoon it would send a warm fuzzy feeling to all our friends and send a chilly-willy to our enemies.

Not gonna happen.

They´ve already had direct talks. Valerie brings back the handwritten orders. So far he´s been told to let them get nuclear weapons, hand over Iraq, isolate Israel, and leave them Afghanistan and Pakistan. SCOAMF follows orders very well.

Impeaching President
Obama is a waste of time

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Several days ago some fringe “conservatives” mentioned the idea of impeaching President Obama. For reasons as obvious as they are numerous, that is a terrible idea. Saying that is like throwing chum out to the worst conservatives, the ones who act like liberals, the ones who are all angry instinct, who rather than strategize their way to victory would rather sweep the pieces off the table and throw a tantrum on the floor. Serious and effective conservatism demands putting facts and reason above emotion and hysteria. Some comments concerning potential impeachment are so

Sen. Harry Reid said Wednesday that he will push to confirm more judges to the federal appeals court in Washington, D.C., after that court ruled earlier this year that President Obama’s broad use of recess appointment powers was unconstitutional. “You have a majority in that court that is wrecking havoc in the country. For the first time in 230 years, they ruled the president can’t make a recess appointment, so yes there is a crisis,” Mr. Reid, the chamber’s leader, said on the Senate floor as he begged for quick action on more of the president’s judicial nominees.

Mayor Bloomberg went on a spitting-mad rant against a city cab-fleet boss who won a court victory over Hizzoner’s planned “Taxi of Tomorrow” — vowing to “destroy your f--king industry” when he leaves office, The Post has learned. A fuming Bloomberg made the threat against Taxi Club Management CEO Gene Freidman at Madison Square Garden’s private 1879 Club during last Thursday’s Knick playoff game, a witness said yesterday. “It was like Gene had kidnapped his child. He used the f-word twice,” the witness said. Freidman confirmed the blow-up to The Post, and said Bloomberg’s tirade included the warning that,

According to Republican Rep. Jim Jordan and White House visitor logs, former IRS Commissioner Douglas Shulman visited the White House 118 times in 2010 and 2011. This is the same time period when Tea Party groups were inappropriately targeted and intimidated by the IRS. Testifying in front of lawmakers on Capitol Hill Wednesday, Shulman admitted that many of the meetings with the White House were to discuss how to implement ObamaCare. "The IRS has a major roll in the money flow," Shulman said. Shulman denied ever discussing 501c(4) groups with White House officials

Secretary of State John Kerry reminded employees at the U.S. Embassy in Muscat, Oman, of the terror attack in Benghazi but said they need to keep proving to the world “that you don’t have to hate people.” Kerry was in the sultanate to facilitate the inking of a $2.1 billion arms and missile defense system deal with Raytheon and the Omani government. “This system, which has been selected by the Sultanate of Oman following a thorough evaluation and assessment process, offers high levels of effectiveness, capable of meeting the operational requirements of the

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

Former Rep. Anthony Weiner, whose career in public life came to an abrupt end when he sent lewd pictures to a college student on Twitter, jumped back into politics on Wednesday by announcing a bid for mayor of New York City. “Look, I’ve made some big mistakes and I know I’ve let a lot of people down,” the Democrat said in a 2-minute video announcing his bid. “But I’ve also learned some tough lessons. I’m running for mayor because I’ve been fighting for the middle class and those struggling to make it for my entire life.

The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. Taylor 3rd. Lerner was scheduled to appear before the House Oversight committee Wednesday.

The dam protecting the IRS scandal began to crack today when Lois Lerner, the IRS official who announced, and apologized for, the improper singling out of conservative-leaning organizations by IRS employees under her command, announced through her criminal defense lawyer that she will not testify as scheduled tomorrow before the House Oversight Committee. Rather, she will assert her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. This marks an enormous milestone in the IRS investigation. It can now be taken as more or less established that crimes were committed by Obama administration employees. Lerner’s lawyer tried to minimize the significance

Former Democratic National committee chairman Howard Dean considers the controversy over Benghazi a “joke” and “silly.” “Benghazi is a laughable joke,” Dean proclaimed twice in a discussion with Republican National Committee communications chairman Sean Spicer last week. “With all due respect, governor, when four Americans die serving this country, that’s not a joke, sir,” Spicer responded. “Oh, stop it,” said Dean. The former Democratic presidential candidate also said that there were “no serious questions being asked about Benghazi” and brushed it off as an effort by Republicans to score political points.
