Dick Morris: Fox
´marriage´ had to end

Pollster and pundit Dick Morris said Wednesday that he “absolutely believed” Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney would beat President Barack Obama in the last presidential election, and he urged the GOP to take a different tone in crafting its message. “I absolutely believed it and so did a lot of people,” Morris said on CNN’s “Piers Morgan Tonight,” when asked about his prediction. Morris was an adviser to former President Bill Clinton, but he supported Romney in the election. Earlier this week, Fox News did not renew its contract with Morris. He was widely panned

Comments:
This interview confirms why it was a good decision for Fox to let him go. Republicans need to pass some sort of immigration reform because they feel the Republicans hate them?? Good. Grief.

I believed he would win as well, but then all the 47%´s, dead people and multiple voters weighed in and we got stuck with this turkey for another four years...

I really really wonder, if there will ever be another Republican President, given the propensity for dimbulbs to stack the polls.

Every time I start liking this guy, I´m reminded that he helped Bill "Lying" Clinton get elected.

He can never be trusted.

Allowing FNC to look away from the voter fraud during this election.

The great toe sucker is the most consistently wrong pundit in the market today. in 2007 he said with absolute assurance that "Hillary Clinton WILL BE the next President of the United States." Watch for him to repeat that turkey in the next four years.

I like Morris - but only sort of.

He has made some very strong points for conservatism, but he keeps falling back to the position of opportunist.

Morris may have been right in an honest election. Over 100% votes cast in St Lucie County FL? Where else?

It was my understanding that, contrary to his polling, Mr Morris publicly stated he was trying to influence the vote by stating the GOP would win. That is not unbiased polling, that is propaganda.

Mitt did win.

I feel violated.

I still have that metallic taste in my mouth that I associate with bad car accidents and bar fights.

Is it just me ?

In a better world, we could hope that this is all part of Little Dickie´s
diabolical plot to destroy CNN from within.

He´s like the National Enquirer of political pundits.
A very dirty, very tainted, very guilty occasional pleasure...
Don´t let anyone know that you read (listen to) him.

#13 NO. And what if Dick Morris was really right if only voter fraud hadn´t been in the mix. I still can´t see, with all the people getting out for Chick Fil-A, all the big crowds at Romney´s speechs, the general excitement - that Romney lost.

Reply 16 - Posted by: Bobn.T, 2/7/2013 2:44:31 PM     (No. 9164114)

Morris was never right on his predictions - not one single time.

They shucked Morris and kept Rove. Both were monumentally wrong, and frankly I find Morris by far the more entertaining of the two.

And #13, what´s wrong with a good bar fight? I think we need to coach our republican reps in the fine art of accurately throwing a beer bottle at the head of the dems--figuratively speaking of course!

A wise old adage: "Never trust a traitor".

Note that, even tho´ he was well paid by the British, Benedict Arnold was never really trusted by them.

Impeaching President

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Several days ago some fringe “conservatives” mentioned the idea of impeaching President Obama. For reasons as obvious as they are numerous, that is a terrible idea. Saying that is like throwing chum out to the worst conservatives, the ones who act like liberals, the ones who are all angry instinct, who rather than strategize their way to victory would rather sweep the pieces off the table and throw a tantrum on the floor. Serious and effective conservatism demands putting facts and reason above emotion and hysteria. Some comments concerning potential impeachment are so

Sen. Harry Reid said Wednesday that he will push to confirm more judges to the federal appeals court in Washington, D.C., after that court ruled earlier this year that President Obama’s broad use of recess appointment powers was unconstitutional. “You have a majority in that court that is wrecking havoc in the country. For the first time in 230 years, they ruled the president can’t make a recess appointment, so yes there is a crisis,” Mr. Reid, the chamber’s leader, said on the Senate floor as he begged for quick action on more of the president’s judicial nominees.

Mayor Bloomberg went on a spitting-mad rant against a city cab-fleet boss who won a court victory over Hizzoner’s planned “Taxi of Tomorrow” — vowing to “destroy your f--king industry” when he leaves office, The Post has learned. A fuming Bloomberg made the threat against Taxi Club Management CEO Gene Freidman at Madison Square Garden’s private 1879 Club during last Thursday’s Knick playoff game, a witness said yesterday. “It was like Gene had kidnapped his child. He used the f-word twice,” the witness said. Freidman confirmed the blow-up to The Post, and said Bloomberg’s tirade included the warning that,

According to Republican Rep. Jim Jordan and White House visitor logs, former IRS Commissioner Douglas Shulman visited the White House 118 times in 2010 and 2011. This is the same time period when Tea Party groups were inappropriately targeted and intimidated by the IRS. Testifying in front of lawmakers on Capitol Hill Wednesday, Shulman admitted that many of the meetings with the White House were to discuss how to implement ObamaCare. "The IRS has a major roll in the money flow," Shulman said. Shulman denied ever discussing 501c(4) groups with White House officials

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

Former Rep. Anthony Weiner, whose career in public life came to an abrupt end when he sent lewd pictures to a college student on Twitter, jumped back into politics on Wednesday by announcing a bid for mayor of New York City. “Look, I’ve made some big mistakes and I know I’ve let a lot of people down,” the Democrat said in a 2-minute video announcing his bid. “But I’ve also learned some tough lessons. I’m running for mayor because I’ve been fighting for the middle class and those struggling to make it for my entire life.

The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. The dam protecting the IRS scandal began to crack today when Lois Lerner, the IRS official who announced, and apologized for, the improper singling out of conservative-leaning organizations by IRS employees under her command, announced through her criminal defense lawyer that she will not testify as scheduled tomorrow before the House Oversight Committee. Rather, she will assert her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. This marks an enormous milestone in the IRS investigation. It can now be taken as more or less established that crimes were committed by Obama administration employees. Lerner’s lawyer tried to minimize the significance

Former Democratic National committee chairman Howard Dean considers the controversy over Benghazi a “joke” and “silly.” “Benghazi is a laughable joke,” Dean proclaimed twice in a discussion with Republican National Committee communications chairman Sean Spicer last week. “With all due respect, governor, when four Americans die serving this country, that’s not a joke, sir,” Spicer responded. “Oh, stop it,” said Dean. The former Democratic presidential candidate also said that there were “no serious questions being asked about Benghazi” and brushed it off as an effort by Republicans to score political points.
