WASHINGTON – Caroline Kennedy is the "leading contender" on the short list of candidates President Obama is considering to be the next ambassador to Canada, a senior Democratic official tells Fox News. Kennedy, the daughter of the late President Kennedy and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, has been a strong political and financial supporter of Obama. The confirmation that she´s being strongly considered comes as the Canadian press is abuzz about the possible picks. Canadian newspapers have been floating other possible candidates to the spot in the past few weeks. Among those rumored to be on the list: Former Washington governor

No worries people, I have this one covered......
Caroline, to get to Canada, simply head West first, then turn North.

There you go, she´ll never find it now........

And the country is covered up with career int´l relations people, smart geography and international studies professors, and experienced business men and we end up be represented by some ditzy tootsie because she´s named Kennedy. If we don´t raise hell about this, we are causing this country´s death-spiral.

Why do we need an ambassador to Canada? Can anyone name one former ambassador to Canada? Seems like a waste of money.

Rounding out her resume, grooming her for bigger things, I see.

I think that even an inexperienced incompetent nitwit like Kennedy would have a hard time screwing up this post. Not exactly like ambassador to China.
Hopefully she won´t start a trade war, or launch a Bay of Fundy invasion, like her dad´s Bay of Pigs.
Maybe she´ll learn to say "Eh?" instead of "ugh".

We actually do not need an ambassador to Canada, but Caroline mentioned she has nothing to do and asked if Obama could help, requiring a job that mainly required doing nothing but having others provide an entertainment and amusement venue.

You people seem to have forgetten that the
Kenyan Klown told Governor Paterson to appoint Caroline to the vacant senate seat when hillary went to State.
Paterson dissed the prezzie, and appointed Kirsten Gillibrand, the chameleon democrat. President Hologram then undercut Paterson,
(who had replaced the sex fiend as governor)and made sure Paterson could not raise campaign funds to run for a full term as governor, so paterson withdrew.

Well, it doesn´t matter as Ambasadorships seldom require heavy thinking...in fact the jobs don´t require anything but a tase for liquor and a bend-over capability to please the other countries leadership. Caroline will fit just fine with the suck-up/bend over crowd.

Los Angeles County coroner´s officials said Wednesday the body recovered from a fiery, single-car crash in Hollywood that apparently killed journalist Michael Hastings will likely undergo an autopsy Thursday. But an official cause of death and closure of the case is not likely for four to six weeks or perhaps longer, they said. Coroner´s officials are hoping the results will answer why the accident happened. Officials were attempting to match dental records to help make a positive identification. The death of the 33-year-old Hastings was announced Tuesday by his employer, BuzzFeed,

News reports from the final debate between Democrat Ed Markey and Republican Gabriel Gomez conclude that Gomez, a first-time candidate and self-styled "new kind of Republican," delivered a strong performance. With just days left in the campaign before the June 25 special election for Senate, Gomez has trailed Markey, a 37-year veteran of the House, in every single poll. Markey currently leads by average of more than 9 points. But in the debate Tuesday night, Gomez hit Markey hard on the Democrat´s long Washington tenure, a running theme in the Republican´s campaign. The Obama administration has reportedly tried to enlist the NBA in helping it sell Obamacare to the American people. It’s unclear whether a potential marketing partnership would put big-name players at the center of ad campaigns or if it would be as simple as putting the NBA trademark on marketing materials, Politico first reported today. People can begin signing up for Obamacare in October, with the new insurance coverage kicking in next year. Many have speculated that the enrollment campaigns would benefit from a celebrity endorsement or partnership with a major sports league.

A group of whistleblowers, including a number of aviation experts, have come forward in a new documentary to claim that the official explanation for the crash of TWA Flight 800 was wrong and a gas tank explosion did not bring down the flight off the coast of Long Island 17 years ago. However, the six whistleblowers, all part of the original investigation team, stopped short of saying the plane was shot down. Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Many Americans supported his decision to leak information about a pair of National Security Agency surveillance programs, which, he detailed, gathered information

Listening to Barack Obama give his speech in Belfast on Monday, it was hard not to stifle a yawn. I kept waiting for the part when he would say something interesting, but, about three quarters of the way through, realised it wasn’t going to come. Judging from television pictures some of his young audience felt the same, after the initial rush of euphoria of receiving the rock star president in their midst had passed. Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. "Really, what we´re trying to do is take sides against extremists of all sorts and in favor of people who are in favor of moderation, tolerance, representative government, and over the long-term, stability and prosperity for the people of Syria," said Obama.

We’ll come back in a minute to Senator Rubio and Congressman Ryan. For those who came in late, a year before the IRS scandals burst onto the scene in early May of 2013, an alert investigative reporter for WTHR-Indianapolis (Channel 13), Bob Segall by name, produced a stunning piece of journalism. Segall’s video report is found here and we will quote from his story for the basics.
