A Washington Post reporter who once served as the paper’s Miami bureau chief reported Wednesday evening that Casa de Campo, the resort at the center of New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez’s prostitution scandal, is a place where prostitutes do make occasional appearances. In the neighboring Dominican Republic town of La Romana, Post reporter Manuel Roig-Franzia found prostitutes who said wealthy customers had hired them for sex and covertly brought them into the resort.“The prostitutes talk of occasionally being secreted into Casa de Campo in the back seats of chauffeur-driven SUVs with tinted windows,” Roig-Franzia reported, ”gliding into the complex

Like ships that pass in the night. I am SURE Menendez was clueless.........and how many times WAS he down there? He paid back two flights but he has been there since 1906 from what I have read.

Sen. Menendez should spearhead our efforts to explore the prospects of the Rio Olympics.
Many of the pulchritudinous populace there wear thongs to and fro on beaches...
reportedly displaying bar codes on their posterior cheeks if they´re "available"
for dalliances.
With the proper electronic scanner, Menendez could scout for the best
personnel and prices in advance of our Olympians´ arriving there.
He´s multilingual, or at least...
Buy-lingual...
and this would facilitate his operations down Brazilia way.
Call it a silver lining.
After all, Menendez is an Honorary Member of the International Old Limp Something

I´m thinking that the young, underage prostitutes in question, those who supposedly with this stain on humanity, probably had their lives cut short. So sad.

Yeah, right...they´ve got a stable of girls pre-vetted, or have made arrangements with a outcall agency. The only ones getting snuck in by guests are either low rent or their favorites.

The emergency operating room where doctors tried to save President Kennedy´s life after he was shot has been broken into pieces and covertly stored in crates for years, guarded as if it were a state secret. As the 50th anniversary in November of the President´s assassination nears, an investigative team from local Dallas station WFAA went digging for the exact location of the broken tiles and medical equipment used on that fateful day. Every Memorial Day, when I run into the grocery store to pick up those last minute items for the three day weekend’s picnic, I’m met with members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) selling their poppies. We cherish, too, the poppy red/ that grows on fields where valor led; It seems to signal to the skies/that blood of heroes never dies-- “We Shall Keep the Faith” by Moina Michael -I remember as a kid that it was very common to see paper poppies being sold around Memorial Day. You could even go to the post office and purchase one

A 17-year-old boy and 22-year-old man were killed within hours of each other in separate West Side attacks Friday night, and a 29-year-old man was killed on the South Side, officials said. The youngest of the three killed was with an 18-year-old friend; both were shot about 11:30 p.m. in the 400 block of North Central Avenue in the Austin neighborhood. GUJRAT, Pakistan- At least 17 children were killed and 10 others injured when a gas cylinder on a school van exploded Saturday in northeastern Pakistan, officials said. The van, carrying 20 to 25 children, caught fire after the cylinder exploded, Dawn News reported. The driver survived but a teacher was reportedly killed, the BBC reported. The children, ages 5 to 15, were just a few miles from their school in Gujrat when the compressed natural gas canister exploded.

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election.
