Beyoncé´s publicist asks for ´unflattering´
Superbowl photos to be pulled

Telegraph [UK], by Alice Vincent

Beyoncé´s energetic Super Bowl performance came with its own fan-filled audience, a contribution from her rapper husband Jay-Z and a costume wild enough to enrage animal rights protestors. One thing the singer didn´t plan for, however, was "unflattering" photos. It appears not even divas are immune from an awkward snap, and when American website Buzzfeed decided to publish 33 of the less photogenic photos of Beyoncé´s performance, news site Gawker found out that her publicist called for them to be taken down. The publicist sent an email to Buzzfeed "respectfully asking" that they remove some of the "unflattering" photos, specifying

Could it be that, for instance, the facial expressions on the first two photos bear an uncanny resemblance to someone whose name I can´t quite recall at the mo. . .

No kiddin´- of the five photos, all bear a facial resemblance to the most popular woman in the U.S. -if not the world. I wonder who really requested that they be pulled?

Oh man did you two nail it. Is it true what they say, animals and besties grow to look like each other? Beyonce is right though, a couple of those shots are extremely rude, to put it mildly.

It was broadcasted around the world. SHE put it out there, so she had to LIVE with it.

It was a disgustingly vulgar, ultimately boring performance which consisted primarily of Beyouch tossing her hair, humping the air, all the while screeching into the microphone. Not suitable for children or self respecting adults for that matter. The photos merely expose who and what Beyouch really is and her resemble to that other disgustingly vulgar sad excuse for a less than first lady is startling. Seperated at birth or their plastic surgery operations were performed by the same surgeon minutes apart.

When one bumps and grinds right 3 feet in front of a camera, one should expect ungraceful and unflattering photos. Sorry, Beyonce, when one lives by the camera, one......well, you know.

...well first shes a beautiful woman, did I enjoy her performace...mmm no,it was too much RAW and not enough polish..if that was their goal they got that...even my 13 year old grandson thought it was thrahy...and 13 year olds well you ain´t that old....so I`d give in a 4 on a 10 scale....just not prime-time material...

I´m surprised she hasn´t tried to get the video of her fake pregnancy pulled from Australian tv. The video where her baby bump literally deflates when she bends over. Everything about Beyonce is fake, just like her BFF´s the Obama´s.

Honey, if you don´t want unflattering photos, don´t do unflattering things.

Vulgar, raw, fierce (Buzzfeed´s word) - all of those and more I can see. But unflattering? If those 33 pics are unflattering, then the whole act was unflattering. I can see her mother or grandmother saying so, but not her publicist. I don´t get it, but it feels way too lofo to spend any more time thinking about it.

There is another pic that has Beyonce flashing the Sign of Satan. That´s the pic they are probably trying to suppress... and it looks like they were successful. She does seem rather demonic & possessed.

What exactly is the "sign of Satan"? I´d like to be able to recognize it the next time some leftist flashes it at me.

You´d think someone phitographed as often as she is would consider camera angles when deciding what to wear while performing. Gak. Wasn´t ready for that half a cup of coffee into the morning.

Beyonce´s publicist has to get with the program. Why is he asking? Just get Barry on the horn and have the website shut down, or raided. Then have any and all publishers of the unflattering photos taken off to be reeducated. Isn´t that where we´re headed anyway?

If she would act like a lady, the possibility of unflattering photos would greatly diminish.

The two photos at the top of the page bear a startling resemblance to Mrs. Obama. I wonder if they´re related or she had plastic surgery to make it so.

The superbowl is watched by millions of kids. It was bad enough that some woman sat down while performing the National Anthem at a tempo that would make a dirge sound peppy. Aren´t there any people who can sing left in the country?

If she didn´t want photos of her butt crack and crotch, she should have worn a skirt. Dyuh. She chose the outfit, dance routine and songs. Which, BTW, we couldn´t understand one word. What was that song about ´halo´? Jay-Lo?

Truth be told, it´s not that Beyonce or Jay-Z give a fig about the pictures being unflattering. With their relentless self-promotion, they don´t want to give away for free what they could sell, so these photos will show up in her next book, "Postpartum Kegel Dance Moves".

Look for it on the same shelf at the bookstores where you find her other titles, like, "How to Bump & Grind for $$$", "Gain the World, Lose Your Soul in 30 Days"...

Well, I guess I´m officially old now that I´m about to say this, but in "my day", we had The Supremes who were always elegantly dressed, sang beautifully and were exciting to watch.

Now we have Beyonce (who actually did strip away her clothing on stage) and 2 others in black leather bathing suits basically strutting around looking "fierce". They bore me.

Now I´m confused.

Millions of people saw her extended gyration and grotesque moves, contortions, and facial expressions. It was all "unflattering". She looked slutty and ugly. And intentionally so. That was the image she wanted to project. That is what the adjective "fierce" that her sistahs toss about admiringly - often about Moochelle - all the time.

#10 especially not in front of hundreds of news cameras, tens of thousands of cameras in the hands of fans and hundreds of millions of TVs with DVRS tuned into the game.

How many photos are taken at a Super Bowl? Back in the days of film I recall reading in Editor & Publisher one year that over 30,000 rolls of film were shot by the professional news cameramen at the game. Today you know almost everyone in the stands has some sort of camera device, if for no other reason than to prover they were actually at the game.

WASHINGTON - President Barack Obama says he is instructing his disaster response team to get tornado victims in Oklahoma everything they need "right away." Obama spoke Tuesday after an Oval Office briefing on the latest developments from his disaster response team and as Federal Emergency Management Agency Director Craig Fugate was heading to Oklahoma. Neighborhoods south of Oklahoma City have suffered catastrophic damage after a two mile-wide tornado touched down in a highly-populated suburb on Monday afternoon, flattening entire schools and wiping out hundreds of homes in one of the worst storms the area has ever seen. As hail thundered down and heavy winds began whipping the area of Moore, a storm warning went off just before 3pm local time, alerting the 170,000 residents within the area to seek shelter. After about 35 minutes on the ground, the tornado appeared to dissipate. Devastating aerial images taken immediately afterwards show schools completely flattened by the

But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”
