Scott Brown in talks with
Fox News

Former U.S. Sen. Scott Brown is in talks with the Fox New Channel to join the network, a Fox spokeswoman has confirmed. She declined to say what role Brown would play at the cable network. The network recently cut ties with former GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin and former Clinton presidential advisor Dick Morris. Brown, who lost his Senate seat to Democrat Elizabeth Warren in November, announced last Friday he would not be running in the special Senate election o fill the seat being vacated by Secretary of State John F. Kerry.

Comments:
They dumped Sarah for him. Lord help us.

I never liked Morris, he is a fat weasel that plays both sides like a 5 string banjo. I don´t trust him and never did since he was working is pudgie fat fingers to the bone getting Clinton re-elected. Buh bye Dick, don´t let the door hit you on the way out. As far as Scott Brown is concerned, he is another died in the wool Big Repstablishment type of a RINO and he has no street cred in my book. He is anything but a Conservative and the only thing he knows about a TEA party is that is what little girls do on a Sunday afternoon with grandma.

OP, if it was appropriate for Sarah Palin to leave politics and become a Fox commentator, then I see no reason why Brown shouldn´t do the same. If indeed Fox dumped Palin, it was because she wasn´t bringing in the ratings.

#1, Brown had the support of the Massachusetts Tea Party, which at least had the brains to recognize that he was far, far, far superior to Warren.

#4, Brown´s wife was for many years a well-regarded Boston tv reporter. She left the job when her husband ran for and became senator.

Fox is pursuing a path to lower ratings and irrelevance. I don´t watch any more. Waiting for a new conservative network to start up. And it will, and Fox will decide to go all CNN to gain market. Good luck with Rove, Brown, the Bloviator, etc.

FOX has become stale.
As has CNN.
Both FOX and CNN are trying to enliven and refresh
their networks.
Scott Brown will bring a new perspective.
MSNBC is still Obamalove 24/7.

Fox drops Sarah Palin and picks up Dennis Kucinich and Scott Brown? Sounds like they are looking to lose viewers like me. That´s fine.

I get the feeling with Scott Brown you are getting a younger version of Pat Buchannon. Brown calls himself conservative but he goes out of his way to point out anti conservative views. After the first few shows you won´t be able to tell the difference between Brown or Kucinich.

There is a young person held captive in Massachusetts today who is not allowed to participate in religious ceremonies, or visit family without government agents watching. No, it’s not accused Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. It’s 15-year-old mitochondrial disease patient and nonterrorist Justina Pelletier. U.S. District Court Judge George O’Toole Jr. ruled Wednesday that the now-20-year-old charged with four deaths and injuring more than 260 people should be able to see his sisters without an FBI agent present. The feds can appeal, but he says their case would have to be “pretty convincing.” “Can you believe it?”

A person is in custody tonight after police report suspicious bags were found at the finish line of the Boston Marathon on Boylston Street. An eye-witness told the Herald tonight a man dressed all in black and wearing a black veil walked down the middle of Boylston Street, with a backpack on his back, chanting "Boston strong, Boston strong." "He was weird looking," said Matthew VanWinkle. "He was wearing a black veil, a black hat, and no shoes." The bomb squad is now on the scene and police have pushed everyone back. A bomb squad member yelled "fire in the hole" as they

Kyiv- A recording proving that Russia is backing separatists in eastern Ukraine has surfaced online. The SBU (Security Service of Ukraine) taped the operatives, whose code names are "Nose," "Adler," "Shooter" and "Agath," discussing strategy, weapon stockpiles, and requests for reinforcements. The SBU has identified the number calling the separatists in Ukraine as having a Russian +7 area code. The person with the Russian number asks Shooter to contact him. Later in the conversation, Shooter reports “fighting off the first (Ukrainian) attack” and shooting “some significant (highly-ranked Ukrainian) people."

Frank Armstrong never got the chance to know 8-year-old Martin Richard in this life. Nevertheless, the BPD captain in charge of Area E-18 in Hyde Park keeps a picture of the marathon bombings’ youngest casualty on the wall in his office. The Dorchester boy who loved the Bruins, and the 53-year-old cop, who grew up five houses away from where the Richard family lives, share a bond that is as heartbreaking as it is heartwarming. For nearly 12 hours on that fateful Patriots Day a year ago, Frank Armstrong led a squad of Boston police officers who stood watch over

BOSTON - After taking heat from some of its own over a decision to grant an honorary degree to an advocate for Muslim women who has made comments critical of Islam, Brandeis University withdrew the honor Tuesday night. The university said in a statement that Somali-born Ayaan Hirsi Ali would no longer receive the honorary degree, which it had planned to award her at the May 18 commencement. Ali, a member of the Dutch Parliament from 2003 to 2006, has been quoted as making comments critical of Islam. That includes a 2007 interview with Reason Magazine in which she

About 10 investigators with Boston Fire´s Arson unit this morning entered the four-story brownstone on Beacon Street where six days ago a roaring blaze claimed the lives of two firefighters. The arson investigators entered the building around 10 a.m. On Wednesday, Lt. Edward Walsh and Michael Kennedy died after being trapped in the basement of the 298 Beacon St. building during the roaring 9-alarm blaze. Deputy Chief Joseph Finn, who commanded the firefighters last week and made the decision to pull firefighters from the wind-driven fire, was also on scene. He had no comment when he exited the building shortly

A day after the flames thwarted his efforts to save Lt. Edward J. Walsh and firefighter Michael R. Kennedy in the basement of a blazing Beacon Street brownstone, Capt. Neal Mullane of Ladder 18 in South Boston, his own scalp gashed and burned, found himself drawn to the Back Bay firehouse that has become a kind of chapel for his grieving brethren. Mullane, 42, was one of the officers tapped at a moment’s notice to command as the Rapid Intervention Team at the nine-alarm fire. He described the desperate detail to the Herald’s Laurel J. Sweet.

The Obama administration is poised to entertain a flood of new clemency applications from thousands of federal prisoners who were given harsh sentences under mandatory-minimum laws following drug convictions, Attorney General Eric Holder said Monday. Holder said in a short videotaped statement that he wants to shrink the federal prison population by a modest amount while ensuring ´that those who have paid their debts have a chance to become productive citizens.´ At the center of the move is a set of old sentencing rules that punished crack-cocaine offenders with more time behind bars than users or traffickers of powder cocaine.

The Citizens Commission on Benghazi, a self-selected group of former top military officers, CIA insiders and think-tankers, declared Tuesday in Washington that a seven-month review of the deadly 2012 terrorist attack has determined that it could have been prevented – if the U.S. hadn´t been helping to arm al-Qaeda militias throughout Libya a year earlier. ´The United States switched sides in the war on terror with what we did in Libya, knowingly facilitating the provision of weapons to known al-Qaeda militias and figures,´ Clare Lopez, a member of the commission and a former CIA officer, told MailOnline. Former Sen. Bob Dole (R-Kan.) said a number of junior GOP senators considering a presidential run in 2016 do not yet have the experience — specifically naming Rand Paul (Ky.), Marco Rubio (Fla.) and Ted Cruz (Texas). The former 1996 GOP presidential candidate sounded particularly skeptical of Cruz in an interview this week with The Wichita Eagle. "A number of the younger members, first-termers like Rand Paul, Rubio and that extreme-right-wing guy, Ted Cruz — all running for president now. I don´t think they´ve got enough experience yet," Dole said. The 90-year-old former senator said, however, his main concern about 2016 is living

If Jeb reaches for the nomination, there will be a titanic battle between the party establishment and the Tea Party. Steve Schmidt, McCain’s strategist in 2008, insists that in the end Republicans usually settle on the most electable candidate. To get by, this Bush may be forced to trim his positions, although the cautionary tale of Romney suggests that he would have to tack artfully and carefully for the sake of the general election. Certainly he will have the resources to outlast, discredit, and disqualify his rivals.

Washington - Michelle Obama said "splurging is the key to life" if you regularly eat right and stay active. Her biggest guilty pleasure: French fries. "How would you appreciate vegetables if you never had chocolate?" she asked. "You couldn´t live without a little chocolate, a little French fries." The first lady took questions from children reporters Monday after appearing at the White House Easter Egg Roll. She told the children that if they eat right the majority of the time, then a splurge or snack is not going to hurt them. "I still splurge when I can, but that's why I try to exercise almost every day," she said.

Public Trust: Sixty-one percent polled say President Obama lies "some of the time" or "most of the time" on matters of national importance. Americans have to ask: Why do we let him get away with it? It´s no surprise that a Fox News poll of 1,012 registered voters last week found immense distrust of a president whose main domestic initiative was based on a lie. The shock is that the same poll found his disapproval level down to its lowest since last fall. Asked, "How often do you think Barack Obama lies to the country on important matters?" 37% replied "most of

There’s a pattern of falsifying statistics throughout the entire Census Bureau. And anyone who attempts to blow the whistle on the fraud is either retaliated against or ignored, according to two new sources who have experienced the process firsthand. As I’ve been writing for more than six months, the Census Bureau office in Philadelphia uncovered a case of fraud in 2010, did nothing about it and allowed the practice to continue. In that instance, a data collector named Julius Buckmon was faking reports that went into the nation’s all-important jobless tally and consumer-inflation survey. Because the Census Bureau’s surveys are scientific — meaning
