| Allegations of liberal media bias are almost constant in the conservative press, but their intensity has increased since President Obama and Hillary Clinton appeared together on 60 Minutes, where interviewer Steve Kroft posed "softball" questions that were almost comically obsequious. "Mr. Kroft, as embarrassing as his interview was, is merely symptomatic of a larger phenomenon: the unprecedented swooning and cheerleading by the press for Barack Obama," Peter Wehner wrote in Commentary, echoing an argument voiced by many on the right. He posits that the rise of conservative media outlets like Fox News may have triggered a liberal backlash.

His party is so afraid of being called ´racist´ that they bend over backwards to say anything complimentary...Fox has nothing to do with it because they talk about every subject and do not show sides....

Because they´re afraid of being cut off, or out, of any possible access, and leaked information.
If you don´t have sources, and can´t get access, then what good are you to your paper, or TV station?
So, they dutifully report what they´re told to report. They don´t investigate what they´re told not to investigate.

Fox was a tiny, non-entity network when the Leftwing Media of ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, NYT, LAT, WaPo, NPR all backed and covered for Bill Clinton during his bimbo eruptions, during his illegal campaign fund solicitations in Chinese Budhist temples, on Travelgate, Rose law ffirm, Whitewater, cattle futures, etc.

Totally nonsensical list of excuses.
A.They refuse to do their job. B. They turn to their twitter feed for direction and focus. C. They refuse to do their job.
Why they refuse to do their job is really the only thing that´s debatable. My current take is our press is as low -info as Democrat voters AND they´re conceited. Big heads filled with fluffernutter. To steal a line from previous thread ´´not bringing the potato salad to the next Mensa picnic ´´.
And you can´t have a discussion about the media without at least acknowledging they have real contempt for points of view not simpatico with aforementioned twitter feed. It was never George Bush they hated

“…the rise of conservative media outlets like Fox News…” Oh, yeah? If that were so, why is FNC chockablock with liberals? “Fair & Balanced” is not just some empty slogan. It’s substantiated by its vast cadre of outspoken Democrats, many of whom get plenty of screen and mic exposure several times per week. Contrast that with CNN and MSNBC. The comparisons are incomparable.

There is runaway political correctness underway in the national TV industry, and the TV media knows that they must give Obama a pass, or even risk their individual jobs.
The reason for that is Obama is a black man, and you can safely bet that there is no white man alive in America today, who when serving as President, would be lobbed the number of slow balls that the media has tossed at Obama.
That´s true for just about all the presentations shown on TV today to the general public. If you were to stay locked at home for any time period and continuously watched TV it would not be long from what you see on TV, that you would mistakenly think that black people make up a big majority of the population of this country, when in actuality they are only about 11% to 13%, and that black culture is the dominant social culture throughout the USA. That´s all because of political correctness.

Left liberalism is intellectually, morally exhausted and an ideological dead end. Because they are fools, not journalists or reporters, and they no longer care about informing the public. One can understand that it was a memorable occasion for a minority member to become President, but at some point, his policies have to be more important than his color. The media have never caught up. and seemingly never will. Very distressing that highly paid media people do NOT do what they are paid to do, and that is QUESTION the Government´s policies. They can start with killing by drone.

Please see the testimony of Chris Rock. Why does Rock support Obama? Because he is Rock´s daddy, that´s why. We have a vast "culture" in this country which desires a Glorious Leader. One like Stalin or Mao. One like Hitler or Mussolini. They have found their GL in Zippy. So they bow down and worship him. Chris Matthews told us this four years ago. Zero reminds me of the potentates who had no need to walk on the ground; instead the peasants were required to lie on the ground so the ruler could step on their bodies. That is now called leadership. Gross. Disgusting. Regrettable. But factual.

Among the lucky candidates: the first female fighter pilot to become an astronaut in nearly two decades. A female helicopter pilot also is in the group. In fact, four of the eight are women, the highest percentage of female astronaut candidates ever selected by NASA.

She added that whoever did the hack was "highly skilled and used very sophisticated methods." Throughout the reign of Barack Obama, Attkisson has distinguished herself in media as the rare reporter actually willing to do more than protect, cheerlead, and play stenographer for the White House.

WASHINGTON An Internal Revenue Service supervisor in Washington says she was personally involved in scrutinizing some of the earliest applications from tea party groups seeking tax-exempt status, including some requests that languished for more than a year without action. Holly Paz, who until recently was a top deputy in the division that handles applications for tax-exempt status, told congressional investigators she reviewed 20 to 30 applications. Her assertion contradicts initial claims by the agency that a small group of agents working in an office in Cincinnati was solely responsible for mishandling the applications.

President Obama´s decision to provide weapons to rebels in Syria has the potential to become another foreign policy blunder at a time when the Nobel Prize winner´s second term is mired in scandal. Obama had been saying for months that he would not send troops into the region, but has now stationed 300 troops just outside Syria on its border with Jordan. Obama attributes the abrupt escalation in U.S. involvement to the use of chemical weapons by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

The Internal Revenue Service is collecting a lot more than taxes this year -- it´s also acquiring a huge volume of personal information on taxpayers´ digital activities, from eBay auctions to Facebook posts and, for the first time ever, credit card and e-payment transaction records, as it expands its search for tax cheats to places it´s never gone before. The IRS, under heavy pressure to help Washington out of its budget quagmire by chasing down an estimated $300 billion in revenue lost to evasions and errors each year, will start using "robo-audits" of tax forms and third-party data the IRS hopes will help close this so-called "tax gap."

An investigation by the Associated Press has found that a 94-year-old man who moved to Minnesota in 1949 was actually the commander of Nazi SS-led unit during World War II. According to the report published on Friday, Michael Karkoc emigrated to the U.S. after telling immigration officials that he performed no military service during the war. However, reporters David Rising, Randy Herschaft, and Monika Scislowska say they have uncovered evidence that Karkoc was a member of two military units that were accused of massacring whole villages in Poland during the conflict. Karkoc is a native of Ukraine

Five months into his second term, allies and enemies are as confounded as ever about who President Obama really is. Is he the dyed-in-the-wool liberal that his biggest supporters and critics suggest? Or is he a pragmatic, even cynical, politician who cares more for his popularity than taking risks for his ideological goals or living up to his rhetoric? Even in the short period since his reelection, Obama has provided evidence to support conflicting interpretations. His efforts to pass immigration reform, the unsuccessful push for stricter gun controls and tax hikes on high earners buttress the case for Obama-as-ideologue.

It contains a passage on the back-and-forth between labor and the Chamber that has a quote from a Rubio staffer that is going to raise eyebrows, to say the least: “There are American workers who, for lack of a better term, can’t cut it. There shouldn’t be a presumption that every American worker is a star performer. There are people who just can’t get it, can’t do it, don’t want to do it. And so you can’t obviously discuss that publicly.” Here is the entire context:
