when the President makes outrageous claims that seem opportunistic, yes! He has to present proof that his claims are well founded in reality. This is especially true of a President who has kept his own university records and birth records a total secret from the American people. The price of lies and deceit and secrecy in one´s life is a loss of credibility and he/she has to then painstakingly establish evidence for his/her every claim to be believed. It is called "Reputation and consequence"! A concept very foreign to liberal thinking.
