Piers Morgan Challenges
Herman Cain To CNN Debate —
Will It Happen?

Piers Morgan and former GOP presidential primary candidate Herman Cain got into a bit of a Twitter battle this afternoon, with the CNN host repeatedly challenging the Republican to a public debate. The squabble began this morning when Cain linked to his website’s write-up of Morgan’s explosive debate with gun advocate and musician Ted Nugent. “Piers loses another gun debate as his ratings falter,” Cain wrote. Morgan responded by demanding that Cain “stop mocking me from your keyboard” and challenged Cain, “if you’ve got the guts,”

If Herman agrees I hope they debate from FOX, not BSNBC.

Be careful what you wish for, Morgan.

It´s not easy being a mop-head.

Who´s Piers Morgan?

Reply 4 - Posted by: john56, 2/6/2013 9:34:03 AM     (No. 9161412)

If Piers debates anyone, it will be under Piers´ rules ... on Piers´ show ... with Piers controlling the microphone and the topics.

Kinda like how all media treats anyone who dares question Dear Leader(US) and the mainstream media.

I watched a few minutes of ol´ Piers being grilled about the British phone hacking scandal (you know, where they hacked into the phones of crime victims to get juicy details). He wasn´t as forceful when he was playing the game under fair rules.

Talk about a mismatch! I seriously doubt Mr. Cain would have hired this guy to deliver pizzas!

Introducing the Piers Morgan pizza; all cheese, no meat.

I would advise Mr. Cain that when you mudwrestle with a pig you both get dirty - but the pig likes it.

I am listening to Herman Cain on his radio show right now.
He stated that he is not going to be used to give a boost to Morgan´s low ratings.
I suggest all rational people ignore Morgan, and perhaps he will go away.

Herman Cain responded that he would debate Morgan on his (Cain´s) radio show so they would have an audience. I think that´s a great idea.

Why would anyone want to bother debating a fool like Piers Morgan which will only be watched by the shows staff?

Reply 14 - Posted by: mickturn, 2/6/2013 10:49:17 AM     (No. 9161635)

Piers is trying to puff up his pathetic resume...Cain should decline indicating he will only debate a person with a brain.

id rather watch the Nuge in a debate.

Why would Cain stoop so low? I´m reminded of the late Phil Hartman´s hilarious SNL portrayal of the Chairman of the Board when he once replied to the Billy Idol character: "I got pieces of guys tougher than you in my STOOL!"

Piers Morgan has very few viewers. Why should Herman Cain give him an audience. Ted Nugent handled low info Piers pretty well. I didn´t see it, but Herman Cain played the tape on his radio show.

I do not understand why Cain should give this functional illiterate the exposure.
Morgan has no integrity, no credibility and no audience. His idea of a debate is laughable, he has tried that with a number of people and has proven to be a total a** without a clue.
Why bother to give him the impression that he and his limited mental capability matters? This would only give him exposure to an audience which he doesn’t possess at MSNBC (of course MSNBC doesn’t have much of an audience either) let him stay with the Obamabots and Kool-aid drinkers.

Amid the political boiling oil of three simultaneous scandals, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney continued Monday to defend the Obama administration´s handling of troubles involving the Departments of Justice, Treasury and State. In a hearing that started 45 minutes late after a one-hour announced delay, Carney said that ´no one in this building intervened in an ongoing, independent investigation´ by the IRS Office of Inspector General, which was examining ´Nine IRS employees´ who were targeting conservative groups for special scrutiny. ´We did not have a copy of the draft report´ before it was leaked to media outlets

Former U.S. Attorney for Arizona Dennis Burke violated Justice Department policies by releasing a memo written by an Operation Fast & Furious whistleblower to the media, Justice´s Inspector General found in a report issued Monday. The report called Burke´s actions "wholly unbefitting a U.S. Attorney." He resigned after acknowledging the disclosure in 2011, so no discipline by the department is possible. However, Inspector General Michael Horowitz referred the matter to Justice´s legal ethics watchdogs for possible referral to bar authorities in the District of Columbia and Arizona.

The Morning Joe meteorologist today aired dramatic footage of the weatherman at the NBC affiliate in Wichita, Kansas ordering his colleagues to take shelter because a tornado was headed right at the station. The White House Visitors Log reveals that President Barack Obama met with Internal Revenue Service (IRS) union boss Colleen Kelley on March 31, 2010—the day before the Inspector General´s report says the IRS began its scheme to target tea party and conservative groups. Furthermore, Obama appointed Colleen Kelley, president of the National Treasury Employees Union (NTEU), to the Federal Salary Council whose job is to recommend pay raises for IRS and other federal employees one week after Obama and Democrats suffered historic midterm losses in 2010. Two years later, Kelley’s 150,000-member union had raised $580,412,

Now that the race for Virginia’s next governor has kicked into high gear, NBC News’ Chief White House Correspondent has decided to be partisan and sharply criticized the Republican ticket. On his May 20 edition of The Daily Rundown, the MSNBC anchor hammered the GOP’s nominee for Virginia Lieutenant Governor, African-American pastor E.W. Jackson, as extreme and someone who “might make Todd Akin look like a moderate.” "Can the GOP win in 2013 with a ticket of candidates who are best known for being very conservative and very outspoken on social issues?" Todd rhetorically asked before playing several clips

As Congress and the public struggle to comprehend the scandals rocking the Obama administration, it is important not to overlook a common thread linking all of the misconduct: the administration’s paranoia that voters would see it as weak on national defense. For having the temerity to raise questions about U.S. policy toward terrorists and Iran, Israel and North Korea, the Obama IRS targeted a non-partisan group with which I am affiliated and illegally leaked its confidential information. The White House’s paranoia about public perceptions of foreign threats also drove its scandalous surveillance of Associated Press (AP) reporters.

NORFOLK -This was supposed to be the week when thousands of free-spending Norfolk sailors were to descend on lower Manhattan, where New Yorkers promised to shower them with gifts, drinks and kisses. But the annual party on the Hudson River was canceled. Fleet Week New York – like all the Navy’s big community outreach events this year – fell victim to sweeping federal budget cuts. Most of the sailors who would have been treated to free baseball tickets and complimentary subway rides instead will spend the week idling in Hampton Roads traffic and reporting for duty at Norfolk Naval Station.

What did President Obama do on the evening of 9/11/12 when our men were under attack in Benghazi? The invaluable Andrew McCarthy reminds us that Obama and Secretary Clinton had a 10:00 p.m. phone call of which many (including, I think, Chris Wallace) have lost sight. This morning when Wallace asked Obama aide Dan Pfeiffer what Obama was up to that evening, Pfeiffer declared the line of inquiry “offensive.” Translation: Obama and his minions would prefer to “move on” and are warning the likes of FNC off:(Snip for video)The Weekly Standard’s Daniel Halper has posted the rush transcript

It began in earnest last Friday. A flash mob of latte drinking, tofu eating media that has done its best to quell, rather than fan the flames of truth, turned on one of their own. Jay Carney lay bludgeoned at the base of the podium, a victim of friendly fire. Ironically, the attack was reminiscent of the one in Benghazi he has repeatedly denied the Administration he represents bears any responsibility for. “Changed twelve times?!” came the cries. And with good reason. We were misled; no, lied to.

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Friday urged congressional leaders to raise the debt limit and insisted that the White House is not going to negotiate over the increase because lawmakers have "no choice." "We will not negotiate over the debt limit," Lew wrote. "The creditworthiness of the United States is non-negotiable. The question of whether the country must pay obligations it has already incurred is not open to debate." Lew said that while President Obama is willing to discuss plans to reduce the nation´s deficit with Congress, those talks must be kept separate from any effort to raise the nation´s debt cap.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. Newly obtained court documents “reveal how deeply investigators explored the private communications of a working journalist — and raise the question of how often journalists have been investigated as closely as Rosen was in 2010.” Reporter Ann Marimow began:
