| A seven-year-old boy from Colorado has been suspended from school after he lobbed an imaginary grenade on the playground while pretending to be a hero soldier. Alex Evans, of Loveland, said he was playing a make-believe game called ´rescue the world´ during recess at Mary Blair Elementary School, which resulted in his removal from class after officials said he broke a key rule. The second-grader explained that he tossed an imaginary grenade into a box containing made-up forces of evil, and made the sound ´pshhh´ to indicate that the explosive had detonated.

It was because it was a boy. If it had been a girl or any of the other 57 LGBT varieties, the kid would have been given an award for confronting gender stereotypes or something.

I would not put a child into the public school system at this time in history. My great grandchildren were born in 2012, I hope that by the time they are old enough to go to school the world will have come it senses. If not, I hope my grandsons will allow me to get involved in making sure the boys are educated in private or charter schools.

It get sillier and sillier. What if he just "thought" he was rescuing the world in that manner without any physical action? This is Twilight Zone stuff, folks.
If I were the parents, I would threaten to sue for extreme embarrassment and intentional infliction of emotional distress and then actually sue the school district if they didn´t immediately apologize and void the suspension.

Women and girly men have taken over our educational system. More evidence we should have vouchers so that the common family can afford to send their kids to a good school that reflect American values.

can´t imagine the idiocy of these teachers and the stupidity of the school boards. I remember when I turned 9 and got my first buck knife with a belt sheath! That first day I wore it to school I got to be like the rest of the boys with their knives kind of like a rite of passage that every boy looked forward to! I remember the teacher checking out the sharpness of my knife and giving me high honors for having sharpened it correctly. The ossification of America is complete, the namby pamby feminine males have won

The war on boys continues! This is one of many reasons why I homeschool. My six sons all own weaponry from battle axes, 9mm pistol, hunting rifles, long and composite bows down to sling shots and pocket knives. We take them to laser tag, target shooting and are involved in ice hockey and football starting at age 4.
The books I give them to read are about battles, magic and warrior saints. I make learning math flash cards a competition and I don´t panic when they are a little older before they get reading down. It´s going to take a mass exodus from public schools before something will get done about it.

Too bad they live in Colorado instead of Oklahoma. I know of at least two charter schools that are online, tuition free, to home school your children.
Were my children young enough for primary school, I would make any sacrifice to protect them from LIEberal union teachers by teaching them at home.

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio will appeal a federal judge´s ruling that his agency systematically singled out Latinos in its trademark immigration patrols, marking the first finding by a court that the agency racially profiles people. Tim Casey, the lead attorney representing America´s self-proclaimed toughest sheriff in the case, said an appeal of the finding that the agency racially profiles people was planned in the next 30 days. The decision by U.S. District Judge Murray Snow in Phoenix backs up years of allegations from Arpaio´s critics who say his officers violate the constitutional rights of Latinos

WASHINGTON — Attorney General Eric Holder’s fingerprints are all over an FBI warrant that authorized snooping on Fox News reporter James Rosen, the Justice Department confirmed yesterday. The FBI warrant that sought Rosen’s private e-mails as part of a leak investigation and called him a possible “co-conspirator” in a crime was authorized “at the highest levels of the department, including discussions with the Attorney General,” according to the Justice Department. “The Department takes seriously the First Amendment right to freedom of the press,” the agency said in the statement, saying it took “great care” in deciding to

WASHINGTON— US President Barack Obama set out Thursday to redefine the US fight against global terrorism. But despite calling for a more targeted and not "boundless" theater of global operations, Obama left the specifics and timelines for action, by which his success or failure can be measured, out of his big speech. Here are some critical questions Obama did not raise or answer in the address at the National Defense University. Guantanamo Bay timeline-Obama renewed his call for the closure of the Guantanamo Bay camp for terror suspects in Cuba. But he did not provide

Schools and police stations were burning in Stockholm as violent riots continued for a fifth consecutive night. Emergency services were called to 70 separate incidents, including two torched primary schools, burning shops and a destroyed library building also housing a local police unit. Despite police claiming that the situation is beginning to calm down, critics say the riots were unavoidable after years of widening social gaps in a country which has the highest proportion of foreign-born citizens in Scandinavia.

The Democratic National Committee is accusing the GOP of "making up so-called ´scandals´ out of thin air." In an email to supporters, DNC Spokesman Brad Woodhouse writes that Republicans´ accusations of scandal aren´t legitimate — a claim that´s sure to draw howls from the right."Getting in President Obama´s way has been the top priority for Republicans in Congress since day one. But now they´ve gone too far. They´ve been caught red-handed making up so-called ´scandals´ out of thin air to stir up false rumors of vast ´cover-ups´ happening in the White House," Woodhouse writes. Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. Nuland´s nomination -- which requires Senate confirmation -- could come under scrutiny from Republicans who see her as playing a central role in shaping

Anthony Weiner’s New York mayoral candidacy was only made more improbable today after he revealed that he visited a Houston psychiatric facility following his resignation from Congress in 2011. Haunted by scandal surrounding his sexually explicit online communications with women, the Democratic former congressman sought treatment for his compulsive behavior from mental health professionals at the Gabbard Center. According to its website, the facility provides “3-day outpatient psychiatric evaluation,” particularly to “professionals who are in personal or professional crises.” While Weiner did not disclose

MARK LEVIN: So why didn´t Chairman Issa hold an investigative hearing a year ago? Why didn´t Chairman Camp, all Republicans, hold an investigative hearing a year ago, and all the other tripping over themselves right now? I´ll tell you why. Because the establishment Republicans, the RINO Republicans, despise the Tea Party. They despise the conservative movement. We exist to be managed, to be shuttled to the polling place, to vote for their candidates. The Karl Roves of the world, and all the rest of them. They fight us in the primaries, they fight us at the grassroots.

WASHINGTON —In a dramatic departure from existing White House procedures, President Obama requested today that his staff start cc’ing him on stuff. “Look, I know a lot of you think I’m really busy and you don’t want to bother me,” the President reportedly told his staff in an Oval Office meeting. “But cc me anyway. It’s good for me to keep up on what’s going on around here.” “It’s not good when I turn on the news and they’re talking about something at the White House and I’m like, whoa, when did that happen?”
