| An elite team of FBI agents built a mock bunker and inserted a spy camera into Jimmy Lee Dyke’s underground lair to rescue five-year-old Ethan after a week of meticulous and secretive planning, it was revealed today. The FBI Hostage Rescue Team blew the doors off the bunker and shot dead the survivalist during the daring raid yesterday afternoon after footage from a secret hi-tech camera showed the boy’s life was in ‘imminent danger’. Agents became increasingly concerned the 65-year-old´s behavior would turn violent after their negotiations with him ´deteriorated´ in the final 24 hours.

There is nothing new here. His name was Dykes, not Sykes. The Mail uses both in this add-on-to-what-we-got-elsewhere piece. They have added a bunch of meaningless photos and a graphic that is disputed in the text. The entry was apparently from the top according to the text.
Everyone is scrambling to be the first to reveal all. According to the FBI special agent in charge of their work, much of what was done will never be revealed. They need to keep it secret as it may have to be used again.

PS. Article says Dykes/Sykes was shot by the rescuers. That has not been either confirmed or denied and there is no reason to believe they have insider information. They copy most of their reports from AP and other American news media sources.

Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. "Really, what we´re trying to do is take sides against extremists of all sorts and in favor of people who are in favor of moderation, tolerance, representative government, and over the long-term, stability and prosperity for the people of Syria," said Obama.
