Barbara Bush´s nasty comments about Palin?
Barbara -wealthy heiress who dropped out of college to marry.
Sarah -put herself through college, married, had a Family, fought corruption in both Parties and won the Governorship.
Barbara thought she could look down on her because she wasn´t rich and entitled.

I think Jeb Bush would make a great president, but I don´t expect he´ll run. His
focus is on preparing the way for his son George P. to run, after Obama has made such a mess of things that the country will be begging for a Bush to run!

Oops, I forgot one important item: George P. is half-Mexican!

I don´t think the Republicans have learned anything from the last election.
Don´t they know that a lot of Republicans will just stay home again, sick at their stomach, if they nominate someone like Jeb Bush.

Anyone who actually cares to look at his RECORD as governor, would know that he was a conservative in the vein of Rick Perry. On quite a few issues, he is to the right of his brother and definitely to the right of his Dad...at least in terms of governance.

As long as Republicans have open primaries the Democrats will vote in droves for Jeb Bush knowing the conservatives will never vote for him. If he gets the nomination he will get fewer votes than Romney. Good grief what are we becoming an aristocracy? No more Bushes and no more Clinton´s including Hillary and Chelsea.

Some posters tickle me to death. How many elections do you think you will win without the people you seem to hate and it´s a long list, all of the Bushes, Karl Rove, the devil, and everyone else who disagrees with you "true" conservatives, including the CPAC?

Well, I guess that really does tick all the boxes. He must be a conservative. We should probably nominate him right now to save time and avoid those nasty primaries with all those people trying to take the nomination away from its rightful owner.

Moving right along, sure would prefer to see Kris Kobach(Ks.), address CPAC. And Gov. Walker. And, yes, Gov. Palin. There are LOTS of other merited GOP voices out here and we are waiting expectantly for all of them to be heard!

I agree that a third Bush is to much, however I cannot believe the ignorant comments here. Most of you must be to lazy to check out his record.#24 he served two terms. He was a very conservative governor, anyone remember Terry Schiavo tax cuts balanced budgets. Most of you posting have never looked at his record. It´s unnerving to think conservatives think with their emotions like liberals.

Apologies for the second post (not that anyone´s still reading). When Samuel Johnson was asked to explain how he had so badly misdefined one entry in his Dictionary, he replied, "Ignorance, Madam. Pure ignorance." Jeb Bush did, indeed, serve two terms as Governor of Florida, as #26 correctly points out. Pure ignorance on my part. So now we agree on two things: I am ignorant and Jeb Bush should not be our nominee in 2016.
