| SANFORD – A judge has denied George Zimmerman´s request to delay his trial in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin. The trial remains set for June 10. Circuit Judge Debra Nelson issued her ruling during an often heated one-hour hearing this morning. (Snip) The day´s events began in front of the Seminole County Courthouse with family members and supporters singing "Happy Birthday" to Trayvon, who would have turned 18 today. The legal arguments began at 9 a.m. Defense attorney Mark O´Mara acknowledged the teen´s birthday at the start of the hearing, stating that "no matter what, a tragedy occurred."

Some are unhappy that the delay was not granted, but doesn´t this provide a reason for the prosecutor to have to stop his stonewalling?

Saint Trayvon is dead. Who sings Happy Birthday to a dead person? He can´t have a happy birthday. He is dead.
If he only had not played the knockout game on zimmerman, to impress his girlfriend. (he probably intended to take a cellphone picture of zimmerman, bleeding, and send it to his bruthas and his girlfriend.)

MOORE, Okla. Authorities have clarified and significantly downgraded the number of homes damaged or destroyed in this week´s tornado in an Oklahoma City suburb. Oklahoma City Police Department spokesman Dexter Nelson said Thursday that the most recent count indicates that 1,200 homes in the city and the suburb of Moore were affected by Monday´s storm. The mayor of Oklahoma City announced at a news conference Wednesday that as many as 13,000 homes had been destroyed or damaged. There was no immediate explanation for the differing estimates.
