| Conservative radio host Mark Levin went after former George W. Bush advisor, Karl Rove, during his radio show on Monday after Rove announced the formation of a new PAC that would aid moderate Republican politicians against tea party challengers in primary races. Levin called Rove’s effort ‘diabolical’ and listed the many GOP officeholders who would not be in power but for the tea party insurgency. (Snip) “We’re being stabbed in the back,” Levin declared. “Here’s a project funded by crony capitalists, funded by corporatists — who are not conservative — funding a group called the Conservative Victory Project,”

Comments: Mark was on fire last night on this subject.

Excellent work Mr. Levin. Now, calm down. The left wing media will exploit our anger.
Levin is absolutely correct in confronting Rove. I support Levin fully. Rove has done some remarkable things to advance the cause of conservatives (some torte reform stuff that few of us are aware of BTW. I thank Rove for that.) but it´s over now. We have done it his way for long enough. Conservatives did everything they could to support Mitt Romney. I really believe we did, in spite of the all the scoldings and condescending lectures, we did our part. It´s time to realize that it didn´t work.
I expect that Rove will not stop. We need to be prepared to handle him and I think we need to do it very calmly and quietly. We must continue to advance our ideas.

Levin´s hysterics are part of the reason many are turned off. If he would calm down and learn to persuade instead of shouting, more might listen.

Considering the dire straits our country is in, I will take Mark´s passion any day over Priebus´ and Boehner´s flat unemotional and ever so PC statements/speeches. I am with #3.

I find him very persuasive. Unfortunate that most people refuse to see what is so obvious. Three hours is hard, though. I fear for Levin sometimes.

Cruz, Scott, Rubio and several others are there because of the TEA Party.
The Karl Rove RINO choices got their clocks cleaned in 2012 but we don´t hear about it because the liberal media and the progressive Karl Rove RINO establishment are working together to take out the TEA Part.

Yeah? Well, you struck out with Rubio, that´s for sure. A full-fledged RINO if there ever was one, feverishly working, practically his entire time in office, with dems on amnesty for illegals. Gang of eight. Don´t make me laugh. We are ALL familiar with the RINO gangs. Which always include ms. Lindsey and mcshame. Gee, how bout that?
I´m really glad of what Rove did, because it is showing, without a doubt, who the RINOs are here as well.

We need to come to terms with the extreme right wing that supports the likes of Akin. Otherwise we won´t win and we will have to suffer defeat at the hands of Karl Rove´s moderate wing of the Party. There is this thing called common sense. We also need to have something else to sell besides ´financial motives´ or isn´t there anything else? The public didn´t buy Romney´s better business story.

Please people, unless you are paying for it (Glenn Beck, Rush 24/7) - don´t forget ANY (commercially supported) talk show show host has one primary goal - sell advertising to as many people they can - anything else is just "what the current market wants"

EXCLUSIVE: In the hallowed halls of Columbia University, a nest of ex-cons — who have served time for murder, attempted murder, robbery and assault — hold court on their unique brand of social justice for admiring students enrolled in the school´s social work program, a FoxNews.com investigation has found. The ex-cons work for or with the Criminal Justice Initiative (CJI), co-founded in 2009 by former Weather Underground operative and Columbia adjunct professor Kathy Boudin, who pleaded guilty to felony murder for her role in an infamous 1981 armed robbery that left two police officers and a security guard dead.

On Rush Limbaugh’s radio show this afternoon, Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, denounced the Gang of Eight immigration reform bill, encouraging his audience to call their member of Congress to oppose the bill. Cruz noted there were about 20 Republican Senators that were on the fence about voting for the bill, but that he believed that it was “politically foolish” and “terrible for the country.” “It doesn’t fix the problem,” Cruz said. “We need to fix the problem, secure the borders and improve legal immigration.” Cruz dismissed the Congressional Budget Office report showing that the bill would actually decrease federal

President Obama´s visit to the Group of Eight summit has created a political row in Ireland after an outspoken liberal lawmaker on Wednesday denounced the U.S. president as a “war criminal” for his drone use and his decision to arm the Syrian rebels. Parliamentarian Clare Daly said her country´s government had showcased the country “as a nation of pimps, prostituting ourselves in return for a pat on the head,” The Irish Times reports. The “unprecedented slobbering” during Obama´s two-day visit to Northern Ireland, she said, had even led to speculation that “you were going to deck the

President Obama on Tuesday downplayed Afghan President Hamid Karzai’s decision to suspend talks on a long-term security deal with the U.S. in protest of the launch of formal peace talks with the Taliban. Karzai also pulled out of peace talks with the Taliban the Obama administration agreed to hold in Qatar, which are to begin Thursday. Obama said his administration had always anticipated "difficult negotiations." "We had extensive conversations with President Karzai both before and after the Taliban opened the office in Doha," Obama told reporters at a joint press conference in Berlin with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

It probably wouldn´t have shocked political observers if Sen. Marco Rubio´s job approval ratings had taken a hit since becoming the Republican face of comprehensive immigration reform earlier this year. But the Florida Republican´s numbers in his home state are actually close to their best ever, according to a new Quinnipiac University poll released on Wednesday, though the senator did get low marks from voters for his handling of both immigration and gun control. Rubio had a job approval rating of 51 percent to 35 percent, the survey of registered voters found.

A group of whistleblowers, including a number of aviation experts, have come forward in a new documentary to claim that the official explanation for the crash of TWA Flight 800 was wrong and a gas tank explosion did not bring down the flight off the coast of Long Island 17 years ago. However, the six whistleblowers, all part of the original investigation team, stopped short of saying the plane was shot down. Flight 800, a Boeing 747, had just taken off from JFK airport with 230 people aboard on July 17, 1996 enroute to Paris when it exploded

An attorney whose firm represents two Benghazi whistleblowers said Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, lied to the Senate when he said there was never a “stand down” order during the Benghazi attack on Sept. 11, 2012. “What was fascinating is that he explained his lie to them,” Joe DiGenova, an attorney representing one of the whistleblowers, told CNSNews.com. “He actually said they were sent to Tripoli. They were needed in Benghazi,” said DiGenova, a former U.S. attorney, now with the Washington firm of DiGenova & Toensing.

Amid a steady rise of backlash, Edward Snowden, the 29-year-old former National Security Agency contractor who was the source of a spring of leaks about the agency´s surveillance methods, conducted a live chat on The Guardian´s website Monday morning. Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Many Americans supported his decision to leak information about a pair of National Security Agency surveillance programs, which, he detailed, gathered information

As NewsBusters reported last week, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin called out vulgarian comedian Bill Maher for referring to her Down Syndrome son Trig as "retarded." On ABC´s The View Monday, co-host Barbara Walters astonishingly defended Maher saying, "I don´t think he intended it to be mean-spirited" (video follows with transcript and commentary): WHOOPI GOLDBERG: At a recent standup show in Las Vegas, comedian Bill Maher apparently called Sarah Palin’s five-year-old developmentally-challenged son Trig retarded. And Sarah blasted him on Twitter as a bully. Is that, is it, is he a bully? Is he a bad, what is he?

Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. "Really, what we´re trying to do is take sides against extremists of all sorts and in favor of people who are in favor of moderation, tolerance, representative government, and over the long-term, stability and prosperity for the people of Syria," said Obama.

Marco Rubio. Paul Ryan. The IRS. Illegal immigration. And fraud to the tune of billions.. Now there’s a combustible mix. Let’s start with the IRS, illegal immigration and fraud. We’ll come back in a minute to Senator Rubio and Congressman Ryan. For those who came in late, a year before the IRS scandals burst onto the scene in early May of 2013, an alert investigative reporter for WTHR-Indianapolis (Channel 13), Bob Segall by name, produced a stunning piece of journalism. Segall’s video report is found here and we will quote from his story for the basics.
