| On Monday, Morning Joe examined the report on the Justice Department’s memo on drones. The journalist behind the report, NBC News’ Michael Isikoff, joined the crew as Joe Scarborough incredulously criticized the president’s program that gives the “right to be killed.” The segment was pegged off the report about a Justice Department memo that concludes: “The U.S. government can order the killing of American citizens if they are believed to be ‘senior operational leaders’ of al Qaeda or ‘an associated force’ — even if there is no intelligence indicating they are engaged in an active plot to attack the U.S.”

Occasionally Scarborough experiences a blinding flash of the obvious. One thing you can say about him, he´s consistently inconsistent.

BO is a follower of Marx and Lenin. Both advocated mass killings as a way to cement power and Lenin participated in it.
The that BO has found a way to distance himself from killing, that´s just "plausible denial" politics and a a way to CYA.

It all goes back to the MEDIA. When a Republican is in office, the media is then a member of the opposition, allowing every democRat to blah-blah-blah 24/7 about what is wrong, wrong, wrong.
With a dem in office, even when or if a Republican is allowed time to complain....the media does all they can to make sure the subject is changed, or they are distracted, or made fools of.

Harold Ford and Joe both know that the network they collect their paycheck from won´t make too big of a deal of this, because it will hurt Obama and "help" Republicans.

In one of the most fiery interviews on Fox News Channel, Megyn Kelly took on the attorney for Kermit Gosnell, the abortion doctor convicted of murdering three babies and manslaughter of a woman. Gosnell was sentenced to more than three consecutive life sentences after performing hundreds of late-term abortions. On America Live, Jim McMahon continued to defend his client against the horrific details of his crimes. Kelly started the interview saying, “We don’t tar the attorney with the sins of the client.” McMahon said Gosnell was “disappointed and upset” over the verdict.

Harry Reid said Wednesday that he will push to confirm more judges to the federal appeals court in Washington, D.C., after that court ruled earlier this year that President Obama’s broad use of recess appointment powers was unconstitutional. “You have a majority in that court that is wrecking havoc in the country. The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. One of two men allegedly being questioned in connection with the Boston Marathon bombings was shot and killed by an FBI agent in Florida on Tuesday, (Snip)A friend of Ibragim Todashev said he and Todashev were being investigated as part of the Boston bombings. He said Todashev, 27, knew bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev because both were MMA fighters. The man claims he and Todashev were interviewed by the FBI for nearly three hours on Tuesday. The friend said he left the interview, and when he came back to the apartment he found that there had been a shooting.
