More opportunities for the families of molestation victims to sue the BSA?

More opportunities to decrease BSA membership even further?

If the BSA goes this route, I do believe there will be another organization that will take over the high moral road of scouting and it won´t take long either. Most of scouting is sponsered by churches that don´t pay lip service to God.

I was thinking along those same lines, #18. My former Scoutmaster husband is wondering why no pressers/public statements by Church-sponsored troop leaders and District Councilmen. Their silence is not a good sign. The initial news was "leaked" to see the reaction, after all. We are about to see which Churches pull out of BSA immediately upon this vote going against us OR which ones make excuses, dither, etc.

Let them form their own flower brigade!

Agree with #20. they ought to establish their own organization.

Most people seem to forget that part of the First Amendment is the RIGHT to association (to form associations), meaning in part that no-one has the right to force anyone to join or to force an organization to accept people´s whose goals and views are antithetical to the organization´s.

This sounds like the dream-come-true of NAMBLA.
