| SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic -- The shadowy tipster who made explosive allegations involving U.S. Sen. Bob Menendez and underage prostitutes in the Dominican Republic named names. He gave descriptions of the women, and in some cases, phone numbers and addresses. Despite those details, the women are nowhere to be found. A week after the claims made headlines in the United States and on this Caribbean island, the alleged prostitutes have disappeared. An attorney who once represented two of the women said he hadn’t spoken to them in months, and then stopped returning phone calls himself.

The woman who was quoted said that these very young women were fearful of the powerful men in the Dominican Republic (and here?) who were involved in this tawdry story.
I don´t suppose the lib Miami Herald would have either read that or considered it. ???

I don´t think the Herald or McGrory has looked for them. The assertion was made that they could not be found, but no detail made of their effort, so I don´t believe any effort was made.

Ah, the MSM covering up for a democrat. It´s what they do best.
When they found wet ink on Zero´s birth certificate, they attributed it to a leaky Scripto and the lack of blotters in Hawaii in the early sixties.
But when word of Republican Mark Foley´s possible sex scandal leaked out a few years back, they pounced like wild dogs of Africa attacking a wounded wildabeast.

Menendez and his Democrat cronys had sex with child prostitutes and now the children, their lawyer, and everyone else involved have disappeared, possibly all murdered or otherwise disposed of...? "Oh, what does it matter at this point?"

Buried in the story- But there were many facts the tipster got right. He knew the addresses of Melgen’s homes in Santo Domingo and the exclusive Casa de Campo resort, where the parties allegedly took place, and the names of his bodyguards and other employees.
Kinda makes it hard to discredit the tipster after all.

Of course. Now Satan´s Party can simply say "we have been unable to find enough evidence to sanction the senator!" A few thousand bucks to poor little girls will silence them and if any of them get bold then the "authorities" in that country will see that they get lock jaw. A little pedophilia never stood in the way of Satan´s Party before. After all, the liberal psychiatrists of Satan´s Party claim sex with adults doesn´t seem to affect children´s minds. (Liberals see a pedophile voter constituency out there in the future so they´re laying the ground work. They´ll hitch them to the LGBT´s). After all, to Satan´s Party one can´t judge another´s morality. Right, liberals?

Those poor kids are gone forever. If we had a decent opposition party, they would have had someone on site in DR to video-record the child prostitutes and offer protection. The Dems would have been down there in a flash. In fact, I guess they were.

Maybe in the Dominican Republic, there is a sense of shame for publicly saying you are a prostitute. Only in America do you want to go on the Today Show and tell everyone that you are a cheap tramp for sleeping with a politician or sports star you are not married to.
If the girls are really young, they are probably even more vulnerable to pressure and threats, too.

We now know that the Justice Department kept exceptionally close tabs on Fox News reporter James Rosen in 2010, following his trips in and out of the State Department, hacking his personal emails and phone calls. Normal newsgathering activities are being treated as criminal activities by the White House. But consider what the same White House had to say about Fox News back in 2009. You might remember the concerted effort by White House officials to brand the right-leaning Fox News as a bogus news outlet, unworthy of attention.

Huma Abedin, former Secretary of State Hillary’s Clinton’s long time aide with extensive ties to Muslim Brotherhood groups, was granted an arrangement by the State Department to do outside consulting work, even as she remained a top advisor in the Department. Abedin did not disclose either the arrangement, or how much she earned from it, on her financial report, despite a requirement that public officials must disclose significant sources of income. Clinton advisor Philippe Reines contended she was under no obligation to do so. Abedin, who has served Clinton for 15 years, became a “special government employee”

A federal judge in Washington ruled in 2010 that the Justice Department was not required by law to notify Fox reporter James Rosen that prosecutors had obtained his emails in connection with an investigation into a leak about North Korean plans to test a nuclear weapon. In September 2010, Chief U.S. District Court Judge Royce Lamberth overruled the conclusion of federal magistrate John Facciola that Rosen—whose Gmail account was searched—was entitled by law to be informed. Prosecutors contended that under the statute used to get Rosen´s emails, the Electronic Communications Privacy Act, they were not

The Department of Justice released a statement moments ago amid reports of the department obtaining a subpoena in order to access Fox News reporter James Rosen´s personal emails. "Leaks of classified information to the press can pose a serious risk of harm to our national security and it is important that we pursue these matters using appropriate law enforcement tools. Such investigations and prosecutions, including this particular case, follow all applicable laws, regulations, and longstanding Department of Justice policies intended to safeguard the First Amendment interests of the press in reporting the news and the public in receiving it."

Michelle Malkin joined Megyn Kelly on Fox News Monday afternoon to discuss the latest developments in the investigation into the IRS targeting conservatives for audits. Malkin insisted it was not merely her “ideology” that has led to critique the Obama administration on their handling of the IRS issue and others, but rather the evidence she’s seen of their “bully brigade tactics” to “intimidate and criminalize their political opponents.” Malkin began by going after White House Press Secretary Jay Carney for his handling of the various Obama “scandals,” saying the “clown Carney press briefings have turned in

The Justice Department, already under fire for seizing AP phone records, also viewed e-mails of Fox News chief Washington correspondent James Rosen, calling him a criminal ´co-conspirator´ for his reporting. Fox News´ executive vice president of news, Michael Clemente, released a statement defending Rosen. The statement issued Monday afternoon is below: "We are outraged to learn today that James Rosen was named a criminal co-conspirator for simply doing his job as a reporter," Clemente said. Michael Steinbach, former head of the FBI’s counterterrorism division and now special agent in charge of Miami, told over 30 congressional staffers in March of 2012 that, contrary to the White House´s classification, the bureau does not refer to the Fort Hood shooting as "workplace violence." As head of the FBI counterterrorism division, Steinbach oversaw the investigation into the mass murder at Texas Army base. Steinbach made this claim during an unclassified counterterrorism briefing on Capitol Hill. “Do you guys teach your agents that Fort Hood was workplace violence?” one staffer asked.

What did President Obama do on the evening of 9/11/12 when our men were under attack in Benghazi? The invaluable Andrew McCarthy reminds us that Obama and Secretary Clinton had a 10:00 p.m. phone call of which many (including, I think, Chris Wallace) have lost sight. This morning when Wallace asked Obama aide Dan Pfeiffer what Obama was up to that evening, Pfeiffer declared the line of inquiry “offensive.” Translation: Obama and his minions would prefer to “move on” and are warning the likes of FNC off:(Snip for video)The Weekly Standard’s Daniel Halper has posted the rush transcript

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. Newly obtained court documents “reveal how deeply investigators explored the private communications of a working journalist — and raise the question of how often journalists have been investigated as closely as Rosen was in 2010.” Reporter Ann Marimow began:

A senior adviser to President Obama mounted a combative defense of the administration on Sunday, saying the controversies enveloping the White House were the result of Republican lawmakers’ trying to “drag Washington into a swamp of partisan fishing expeditions, trumped-up hearings and false allegations.”The remarks came from Dan Pfeiffer, a member of the president’s inner circle, as he appeared on all five major Sunday morning talk shows in an effort to move the administration past what commentators have described as a “hell week” of controversy and missteps.

WASHINGTON – White House senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer said Sunday Republicans owe Susan Rice, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, an apology for alleging she played a part in formulating the White House’s response to the attacks in Benghazi, Libya, last year that killed four Americans. Pfeiffer said on ABC’s “This Week” that the release of more than 100 pages of Benghazi emails and notes show “beyond a shadow of the doubt” that accusations she tried to change the narrative of what happened in the attacks was false. "And, frankly, I think that many of the Republicans
