| The Obama administration´s announcement on Friday that it was changing the Obamacare mandate on contraceptive coverage was a step in the right direction, but it did not go nearly far enough. On the one hand, the new rule improves on the old in that it applies to more employers than just a few monastic orders. It would exempt many nonprofit religious employers -- such as dioceses, charities and universities -- that have moral objections to the practice of sterilizing human beings and to the use of contraceptive and abortifacient drugs to frustrate one of the chief purposes of marriage,

It wouldn´t be SUCH a big deal if all they did was require people to have SOME sort of insurance. It´s a huge problem when they go in and require this or that to be in the insurance. If it was just a requirement to have insurance, but let free market dictate which insurance people bought, then I don´t think the prices would be so high or people would be so mad about it. And, if the gov´t just wanted to cover those who couldn´t get it because of pre-existing problems, that would be a lot cheaper than all this mess.

Even the most basic understanding of the bible would tell Obama that the "church" is not a building, but the Christians who meet there to worship. He would understand none of that from his early school days in Indonesia.

The Internal Revenue Service, charged with implementing the biggest change in tax laws in 20 years due to Obamacare, has created eight offices and special "teams" to handle the chore, way more than initially revealed. Besides the top office headed by the woman in the middle of the IRS-Tea Party scandal, there are seven others and a special enforcement team that make up an organization chart that mirrors the organization of the IRS itself, according to a Treasury Inspector General´s report.

The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) have reversed their longstanding membership guidelines to allow homosexuals to join the organization. Abuse Of Power: Any scandal investigation that expects a "Eureka!" moment, a White House e-mail, or Oval Office smoking gun will be misguided. In fact, the dots are already connected directly to the president. Barack Obama is not foolish enough to have a tape recording system hidden in his desk. And his administration staff are not careless enough to send one another incriminating e-mails. If the president was behind the IRS unlawfully harassing conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status, we can be sure the communications were all sotto voce and in persona, like any good Chicago political operator.

The murder of a soldier in south London on Wednesday has prompted fears of a backlash against British Muslims after the English Defence League staged an impromptu rally in the capital and two mosques were attacked.
