At least it wasn´t a strip show like that nJackson chick or the foul mouth show last year. I get the NFL wants to attract young viewers. I get Beyonce has a young fan base. But next year, put on a C&W group like Big and Rich of Garth or someone that has good music and loves America. Of course Mochelle wouldn´t be proud of them but who cares.

I don´t want a sexy halftime show. I want to see some talent. I decided to go check my email and surf the internet when that show started.

I can´t stand Beyonce, her low-class husband and the endless hype over whether or not the press gets a glimpse of their baby daughter.

Beyonce & Bootylicious should have been preceded by an R rating so that parents and anyone with a modicum of taste could take a break. "Alright, kids go finish your homework while Mom and I clean up from dinner."

Just surprised that CBS sycophants didn´t have cameras focused on Mooch applauding and Obama dancing during this tasteless and boring 15 minute spectacle. "Barack, honey, you are Obamalicious."

Weird Al for halftime!

Unintelligible audio, of boring repetitiously-lyric´d ´music´, accompanied by the mandatory gangsta ´shake-yo-booty´ ´dances´, presented in typical MTV cut-from-camera-to-camera-every half-second style, from a 4th-rate talent who reached her peak in the 3rd Austin Powers flick.

I switched over to the Puppy Bowl.

I don´t generally watch ball games of any kind but, my 30 year old son does so once in a while and had the game on and I didn´t leave the room so I saw most of it. I got the distinct impression that the people who came to see the ´half-time show´ weren´t necessarily the same people who came to see the game. Of course, I wouldn´t have walked 50 feet to see either of them so I could be mistaken I suppose. In so much as the show was concerned, I didn´t see any real talent on display - even the choreography was uninspiring and dull.

Yes #5 that´s what we said - all she needs is a pole.

It was hard watching it with our two teenagers.

I´m so tired of being force fed Beyonce cheese ball. No doubt, she´s been influenced by Tina Turner. Sorry sweetie, Tina had a voice, a pair of legs and was/is an original.

I liked it, especially her teaming up with the other two members of Destiny´s Child singing ´´All The Single Ladies.´´ I thought the light show was amazing. Probably contributed to the overload of the electrical breakers, though.

I did not care for Alicia Keys´ version of the Nat´l Anthem but the Sandy Hook kids were good singing America with Jennifer Hudson.

I also enjoyed the Superbowl except for the referees who must´ve swallowed their whistles on the last play. Too bad for SF.

New Orleans did a great job hosting the festivities this year and CBS´s pre-game feature on the Big Easy with Wynton Marsalis made me wish I was back there to enjoy it.

Having never listened to Beyonce´s music, had to keep asking my wife, ´This is one of her Big Hits?´ ´Huh?´

At some point, that crotch-thrusting simply becomes - boring.

For the last few years the halftime show has been terrible. Viewers switch the channel at the half and return for the third quarter. They dont need to waste money for this trash. Fans are going to watch this game in spite of the halftime show.

One of the trashiest performances I´ve ever seen anywhere.

The children from Sandy Hook Elementary School were beautiful and pure. And Jennifer Hudson´s performance with them on the second verse of "America the Beautiful", after they´d sung the first verse, was understated and in perfect taste. Dressed simply in an elegant straight white skirt and black blouse, her hair pulled back. No glitz, no overt sexiness. Perfect.

This stuff used to be called "burlesque". You snuck in with hat, darkglasses and collar up. Cost about 25 cents which is just about what Beyonce is worth.
The one who played the piano like a kindergartner was also a real joke.

The Genitalia Thrust Bowl continues to entertain the lo fo´s as we happily swirl down the drain of history. Words fail me.

American "Entertainment" is on a down-hill slide, with the competitors outdoing each other in sleaze. Watching paint dry is more entertaining, and not nearly so abhorrent.

I´m surprised the stage didn´t collapse due to the stomping around she did with those huge thighs.

A halftime show dedicated to Satan. The firey outline that 1st appeared was in the shape of a goats head w/horns.. and all closeups of Beyonce showed a demonic, possessed look on her face. Someone commented that she looked happier than the audience... Happy? no... Relishing in her public perversion? yes.

Okay, it´s official: Jay-Z now has 100 problems.

Is there some reason halftime needs to be sexy? How about entertaining instead?

Frankly, if anyone thought that was ´sexy´, no wonder our birth rate is falling.

Remember when Ed Sullivan directed the cameras to shoot Elvis above the waist because he gyrated his hips? At least he was good looing and dressed in a suit. Thunder thighs and matching derriere, Beyondme, made Elvis look like a Sunday school teacherr.

Nothing says wholesome family entertainment like leather-clad camel toe.

She can actually sing quite well, but there´s not much song material to work with in that godawful stuff she performs.
