Handouts of the “morning-after pill” to sexually active students have skyrocketed under an unpublicized project in which health centers in public schools offer girls a full menu of free birth-control drugs and devices, records obtained by The Post show.Last September, the city revealed it had started giving out Plan B and other birth control in the nurses’ offices of 13 high schools. At the time, officials said 567 girls had gotten Plan B.
The lesser of two evils. I don´t think the government should be involved in this, but, since they are involved in making us pay, I´m in favor of keeping these thoughtless girls from having babies. I´d rather my taxes go to them NOT having babies than having babies. I know, tough issue.

Check out the savings Wisconsin got when Scott Walker´s Act 10. Was passed. Massive savings, same health care coverage and the only layoffs came from school districts who postponed implementing the new system.
Folks the level of fraud and abuse being committed at every level of government is staggering, start fixing it at the local level, that´s the only place you´ll have and success.
Without parental consent, and waivers, the school system opens itself up to a lawsuit when a girl dies from this pill. I don´t know that the pill has caused deaths on its own, but obviously they won´t be researching anyone´s health background. Maybe sterilization would be better.
First the feminists from the NOW organization turned women into an 18 year olds, boys, wet dream, now they are turning our young girls into slaughter houses. It won´t be too long before the government takes over ordering the slaughter and sterilization of young women. After all, liberals admire societies like china.
So to recap...once again government is doing something for ´children´ that would get regular adults locked up...
It´s surprising mainstream America hasn´t become more fed up and vocal about the ´sexual´ component inherent in the public schools at this point.
Fifteen years of the public schools preaching the ´normality´ of ´alternate sexual lifestyles´ has the CDC now noting 1000 adolescent males a month added to the roles of HIV positive. This week´s lesson is apparently ´you can be too stupid to attend to your birth control needs - and the schools will take care of it...´.
No wonder we have a nation of Sandra Flukes. Being a slut is no longer a ´fluke´. It´s course material in the new improved schools that can´t graduate students who can read or make correct change.
Another plan in the war on women/girls. We have selective abortions...you don´t want a baby girl, you abort her. You have a night out and screw around you get the morning after pill from your school. No parental consent. Just a pill that is not only life threatening to a newly conceived baby but can be deadly to the recipient. Women wake up! Women, respect yourselves. Note your worthiness. Don´t fall for this.
So they don´t think teaching morals and having God in school is their job or should be taught. But they are all about praising those who shouldn´t be praised, telling them to give in to instant gratification and oh yeah giving out medication to children? And you wonder why they are turning out the way they are? Like animals?
A bill set for fast-track passage in the South Carolina Senate in January aims to eliminate Obamacare in the state. The law could become a model for other states fed up with the federal health-care law. House Bill 3101, titled the “South Carolina Freedom of Health Care Protection Act,” passed the state House of Representatives last April by a 65-34 vote. The bill now heads to the GOP-controlled Senate with special-order priority, setting up the likelihood that South Carolina will become the first state to exempt citizens and businesses from all participation in the Affordable Care Act. State Sen. State Sen. Tom Davis, the bill’s sponsor
There are plenty of reasons this is the lowest point of Barack Obama´s presidency. He hasn´t fulfilled a major legislative campaign promise, his signature second-term immigration initiative is paralyzed, and the administration may never entirely recover from the unforced errors surrounding the Affordable Care Act´s rollout. But don´t blame these problems alone for Obama´s record-low 40 percent approval rating. In truth, his agenda went off the rails on a crisp December morning last year, when Adam Lanza strolled into Sandy Hook Elementary and killed 20 children and six adults. Obama hasn´t gotten back on track since. The Connecticut massacre set in
Former president Bill Clinton in a new interview condemns the National Security Agency´s reported collection of industrial data as part of its surveillance programs. Reports based on documents leaked by Edward Snowden have shown that the NSA collected financial data from the network of Brazil´s state-run oil company, Petrobras. Clinton is in Brazil this week. "We should never collect economic information under the pretext of security," Clinton told O Globo, a newspaper in Rio de Janeiro, according to a translation. Clinton is in Rio for the Clinton Global Initiative, which is bringing together business and political leaders from South America. Clinton has previously said
Barack and Michelle Obama, Bill and Hillary Clinton, George and Laura Bush will all figuratively wear a necklace at Nelson Mandela’s memorial tomorrow—the Winnie Mandela necklace that is the most grotesque one of all time. The prime ministers of Canada and Britain, Stephen Harper and David Cameron will wear the necklace, too. But none of the world leaders at the Mandela funeral—Daily Mail touted as the biggest funeral in the world since Winston Churchill—will hear the screams of the young blacks who died in agony wearing the Winnie Mandela necklace. Time and the politically correct era can never wash away the
It may be have been a debacle, but there is one upside to the glitch-plagued rollout of the health care website: It’s become a powerful case study for crisis management consultants and their clients of what not to do. In Chicago, H + A International, a communications firm, delivered its customers a 15-point diagnosis of the administration’s handling of the crisis. That led one of its clients to temporarily halt the introduction of a new software product for engineers at a recent trade show of 30,000 people.
So you were up late participating in the unending joy that is watching Ohio State University lose, and didn’t feel like lifting your hungover head out of bed to watch the Sunday shows. Never fear, your humble Mediaite scribe has you covered. What You Missed The Chris Wallace and Ezekiel Emanuel Interruption Variety Hour! This is the best stuff on Sunday TV (a bar so low it’s subterranean, granted); why isn’t every show a hyper-informed expert defending government decisions to a well-prepared skeptic*? And these two managed to talk (over each other) for ten minutes straight without mentioning midterms or
DAVID CORN: I saw a president who remains frustrated with the political-media culture that he has to work within, and that he´s looking to rally people, students here, and supporters, and people within the media. CHRIS MATTHEWS: But David Corn, you skeptic. He came to us today. He came amongst us. CORN: He´s trying to rally people behind this vision that he´s been promoting for a couple years. FINEMAN: By the way, he did it the end here, today, Chris, not by defending specifics, but by explaining why he´s in the game to begin with. And I don´t know about you, he´s
The question all week long was this: Who are you going to believe, an illegal alien or the president of the United States of America? Obviously, if it’s a president who once went by an alias, Barry Soetoro, you go with Uncle Omar, 100 percent, no questions asked. And so it was that the White House finally admitted to another, uh, misstatement — despite previous denials, Barack/Barry did sleep on his beloved Uncle Omar’s couch in Cambridge when he first moved here to attend Harvard Law School (speaking of which, we’re still waiting to see the president’s grades and his LSAT scores). But the
How do you get your arms around the catastrophe known as Obamacare? Is it even possible? At this point, I’m not sure it is. The list of individual disasters which threaten to ruin one-sixth of the U.S. economy and what has been, up until now, the best healthcare system in the world is exhaustive, and exhausting. The examples I will identify here barely scratch the surface. First but by no means foremost, we have the supposedly new and improved HealthCare.gov. Except it’s not, even the visible part. Stories still abound of people still failing to get in or to get through the enrollment
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a new five-year strategic plan to improve safety for elderly drivers and passengers. Although they are statistically among the safest on the road, the number of older drivers is increasing dramatically — and with it, that group´s numbers of injuries and deaths. Since 2003, the population of older adults, defined as age 65 and older, has increased by 20% and the number of licensed older drivers increased by 21% to 35 million in 2012, according to NHTSA. Last year, NHTSA reported that 5,560 people older than 65 died and 214,000 were injured
A veteran Washington adviser who has worked for four Presidents on both sides of the political aisle said that the stunning Government Accountability Report report that found President Barack Obama has not had a one-on-one meeting with Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius since the passage of Obamacare over three years ago is an indictment of the entire White House operation and shows that the Obama administration has bordered on "malfeasance." "I have no doubt the White House is right, that Secretary Sebelius was in several group meetings with the president about health care," Gergen caveated, "but the whole
President Barack Obama’s Facebook page on Saturday posted a message honoring the dead from Pearl Harbor—accompanied by a picture of Obama descending the stairs next to the Pearl Harbor Memorial. The picture barely fits the name of the Arizona Memorial so it can frame Obama in the foreground. The post´s statement reads: Today, with solemn pride and reverence, let us remember those who fought and died at Pearl Harbor, acknowledge everyone who carried their legacy forward, and reaffirm our commitment to upholding the ideals for which they served. President Obama The Obama Administration´s current shipbuilding plan shrinks the size of
Barack Obama did not tell the whole story this autumn when he tried to make the case that Bashar al-Assad was responsible for the chemical weapons attack near Damascus on 21 August. In some instances, he omitted important intelligence, and in others he presented assumptions as facts. Most significant, he failed to acknowledge something known to the US intelligence community: that the Syrian army is not the only party in the country’s civil war with access to sarin, the nerve agent that a UN study concluded – without assessing responsibility – had been used in the rocket attack. In the months before the attack,
Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, the hapless, goalpost-shifting so-called "architect" of Obamacare, told Fox News´ Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday that President Barack Obama´s promise "if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor" was absolutely true--with one important caveat: if you like your doctor, "you can pay for it." Wallace grilled Dr. Emanuel, challenging his false claims that California´s enrollment was keeping pace with the percentage of the young population necessary to keep the system afloat, and pointing out that the president´s promise on doctors would collapse once people lost their insurance or their
