The liberals will only be able to lick around the edges, as there are too many black people making a fortune out of the game. As has it has always been, if you want to get rich playing football you have to take your chances!
This again shows a primary difference between conservatives and liberals. Conservatives believe that the government should have laws to protect you again against others who wish you harm, and the Liberals think that the government should have laws that protect you against yourself.

Most of the sane public doesn´t give a damn about the liberal´s gripes on football.You can´t make it injury proof,no more than military,cops and firemen.It comes with the territory.
I wouldn´t want to install steel beams in the upper floors of skyscrapers with the wind blowing but people do knowing the risk.
This lawsuit is a class action because the individual cases are weak. The NFL should make each player prove concussions ruined their lives one way or another.

From what I have read, there are quite a few former players suffering long term brain damage. I love watching excellence in most any sport, but I could live without football if necessary.

I guess I am terribly unPC but the statement about "zero minority hires for 15 coach or general manager openings" seems to me to be one step too far down the PC road. Is our society so benighted now that we have to have a quota in every single endeavor we undertake?

I had been a NFL fan for 40 years; started watching in high school. For 25 years I had Super Bowl parties that were legendary. Somehow the players just seemed to all act like punks to me and then there was Mr. Vick. When they allowed him to play football again I lost interest.

NFL becoming gay. All started with the pink shoes and fining James Harrison out the wazoo for being an excellent defensive player. He said a few years ago:
"I don´t want to hurt nobody. I don´t want to step on nobody´s foot or hurt their toe. I don´t want to have no dirt or none of this rubber on this field fly into their eye and make their eye hurt. I just want to tackle them softly on the ground and if you all can, we´ll lay a pillow down where I´m going to tackle them, so they don´t hit the ground too hard ... A shooting as the Warriors game let out Thursday night left two fans dead - the driver of a Porsche was killed by bullets and the passenger was killed as he staggered out onto Interstate 880 in Oakland. Now, police are turning to Warriors fans and nearby surveillance video from the O.co Coliseum for help in finding the killers. Oakland police spokeswoman Johnna Watson said Friday that the two men were leaving the arena about 10:35 p.m., when the shooting broke out. Initial claims for state unemployment benefits jumped by 32,000 to a seasonally adjusted 360,000, the Labor Department said on Thursday. WASHINGTON - There were new questions Saturday night concerning if anyone in the White House was aware of the IRS´ targeting of conservative groups. Inspector General Russell George said he informed a deputy at the Treasury Department in June of 2012 about the probe into the IRS. The Treasury Department confirmed the timeline but said they did not know the details of the investigation until last week.(Snip)Marcus Owens ran the tax-exempt division at the IRS for 10 years.
