| In celebration of its 100th birthday, the bad old days have returned to Grand Central Terminal. Droves of homeless people are flooding the landmark again — even as workers prepared for last week’s centennial celebration. On a windy Wednesday, The Post spotted at least 40 hobos in search of free eats and a warm place to flop.(Snip) In scenes reminiscent of the 1980s, one man picked through the garbage, rewarding himself with a half-eaten slice of pizza and a bag of nuts. A woman snored loudly as she slept,

The little dictator, mayor Bloomberg is too busy imposing communist rules on gun ownership, sugary drink sizes, and the legal prescription of drugs to be bothered about the deteriorating infrastructure and quality of life in New York City. Look for the crime rate to start skyrocketing. You voted for this litte creep New York voters now be prepared to reap the bitter harvest you have sown.

And to make matters worse those lining up to replace him are far less competent and very unprincipled.

"Filth and Fury". That is EXACTLY what happens when a demonrat is elected Mayor. What? Is that a shock? It took Rudy Giuliani to clean up GCT and it took the midget-diktator-bloomy to take it "back to the future". Good luck N.Y. for putting the salt-soda-smoke-controller-nero-wannabe in office THREE times. Looks like HIS priorities are more than a little off-kilter, but it doesn´t seem to matter to most of the voters there. Disgusting.

This is what happens when you cut back on the ability to deal with mental illness. I would be willing to bet many of these individuals have problems that could be solved with medication they refuse to take.

All good things come to an end. Guiliani was successful because he kicked the butts of the lazy and shiftless. He stood for the little guy who doesn´t want to be hassled on the streets and doesn´t want crime to be a daily part of their life. The liberals are too busy attending their art gallery parties and doing drugs to be serious on the crime issue.

Call the speech police!
Michael Gartland of the NY Post called them HOBO´S!
He must be apologize and be fired immediately. He must then go to a re-education camp and be "sensitized."
In the meantime the people of NYC can continue to live in filth...as long as they don´t have cigarette or a soft drink over 16 ounces they will be fine.

#3, Bloomberg ran as a Republican, then as an Independent, leaving the Republican party due to policy differences.
Therefore, he´s a democrat.

NPR´s Ari Shapiro posted an interesting Tweet on May 21. He discovered that a cadre of well-known lefty columnists and journalists visited the White House together, three of whom he mentioned by name. Shapiro reported that Jonathan Capehart and Ezra Klein of the Washington Post, and Josh Marshall of the left-wing website TalkingPointsMemo.com were attending a meeting together at the White House. [Tweet] Coffee, Carney, or perhaps some "guidance"? Naturally the tongues on Twitter wagged. Instapundit wondered, for instance, if the "Journ-O-List cavalry" had been called out to solve Obama´s media problem.

Republican South Carolina Rep. Trey Gowdy admitted that he is stumped by why the media has taken so long to start paying attention to the Benghazi terror attack. “I can tell you this, in my district I’m asked about Benghazi much more than any other issue. I mean, from Costco to Wal-Mart to the church, Benghazi is the number one issue I’m asked about,” he said. “And I think I’m asked about it because it kind of involves what we believe about our republic, which is that we’re not gonna send anybody into harms way, under our flag without

J. Russell George paused for just a moment before he took his seat at the witness table. He wanted to take it all in. The Treasury inspector general whose audit of the IRS had set off a national firestorm had been in this very room before—three decades earlier. That was back when George was a precocious teenager who had worked his way onto the staff of then-Sen. Bob Dole, the powerful Republican chairman of the vaunted Finance Committee. Then, he’d sorted mail and made carbon copies. Now, he was about to testify before the same panel, to present the findings

The head of the Internal Revenue Service’s tax-exempt organizations office, faced with allegations of improper targeting of conservative groups, declared Wednesday that she has done nothing wrong but declined to answer questions, invoking her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. Lois G. Lerner told the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform in an opening statement that members of the panel have already accused her of providing false information to Congress. “I have not done anything wrong,” she said. “I have not broken any laws. I have not violated any IRS regulations. And I have not provided false information

The US Attorney for the District of Columbia, Ronald C. Machen - the man responsible for the aggressive surveillance and phone record scrutiny at Fox News - is also a big donor to the Obama Campaigns. At the time of his appointment, the Washington Post wrote a profile on Machen including this tidbit: Over the years, he has donated $4,350 to Obama´s campaigns. He gave $250 to Obama´s U.S. Senate campaign in 2003, a year before Obama, then an Illinois state senator, emerged on the nation´s political radar, according to campaign finance records.

On May 14, the House Ways and Means Committee demanded the IRS turn over documents and answer questions related to the targeting of conservative groups. The letter was signed by the Chairman David Camp and ranking member Sander Levin of the Committee. The deadline for compliance was May 21. According to House Ways and Means Spokeswoman Sarah Swinehart, "The Committee has not received a response to the Camp-Levin letter." "Chairman Camp expects the IRS to comply and provide full and complete responses to the letter since many of these questions were asked, but went unanswered, in Friday’s hearing,"

It was not clear whom Brig. Gen. Bryan Roberts struck or with whom he was involved. Fort Jackson conducts basic training for 60% of the Army´s incoming women recruits. (Snip) According to his Army biography, Roberts is a 29-year veteran. Before assuming command in April 2012, he served in Iraq as head of a unit training Iraqi soldiers.

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

Former Rep. Anthony Weiner, whose career in public life came to an abrupt end when he sent lewd pictures to a college student on Twitter, jumped back into politics on Wednesday by announcing a bid for mayor of New York City. “Look, I’ve made some big mistakes and I know I’ve let a lot of people down,” the Democrat said in a 2-minute video announcing his bid. “But I’ve also learned some tough lessons. I’m running for mayor because I’ve been fighting for the middle class and those struggling to make it for my entire life.

The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. Taylor 3rd. Lerner was scheduled to appear before the House Oversight committee Wednesday.

The dam protecting the IRS scandal began to crack today when Lois Lerner, the IRS official who announced, and apologized for, the improper singling out of conservative-leaning organizations by IRS employees under her command, announced through her criminal defense lawyer that she will not testify as scheduled tomorrow before the House Oversight Committee. Rather, she will assert her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. This marks an enormous milestone in the IRS investigation. It can now be taken as more or less established that crimes were committed by Obama administration employees. Lerner’s lawyer tried to minimize the significance

Former Democratic National committee chairman Howard Dean considers the controversy over Benghazi a “joke” and “silly.” “Benghazi is a laughable joke,” Dean proclaimed twice in a discussion with Republican National Committee communications chairman Sean Spicer last week. “With all due respect, governor, when four Americans die serving this country, that’s not a joke, sir,” Spicer responded. “Oh, stop it,” said Dean. The former Democratic presidential candidate also said that there were “no serious questions being asked about Benghazi” and brushed it off as an effort by Republicans to score political points.
