In the weeks leading up Jeff Zucker’s official start date at CNN the ex-NBC chief set up a series of dinners with Washington, DC, insiders, and then jetted to Atlanta to check the lay of the land. Zucker also alerted the Los Angeles talent agencies — even prior to his first call with reporters about landing the new job — to say he’s in the market for TV hosts. And before the ink was dry on his business cards, Zucker named ABC News’ Chris Cuomo as one of hias morning-show hosts. Erin Burnett, a darling of Zucker’s from

I heard that CNN is so desperate for viewers they will start broadcasting news!

How about a Kiss Obama´s butt news show. Oh, thats the "Situation Room". CNN will now go further left and nonsense.

I prefer feedback forums like this one or talk radio call backs. The left runs from and despises anything where the public can throw their tomatoes at their lies.

Shakeup? Just rearranging the deck chairs. Same old same old.

Chris Cuomo is son of former New York Governor Mario Cuomo and the brother of current New York Governor Andrew Cuomo

Rachel Nichols is married to music executive Max Nichols, son of director Mike Nichols who is married to Diane Sawyer.

Erin Burnett married David Rubulotta, a managing director at Citigroup.

Jeff - - CNN is losing the ratings war with MSNBC - - which now owns the far left viewers.

So - - the solution is easy. Just move further left - - way further left - - than MSNBC. Paint MSNBC as tools of the far right - - and you´ll then own all the far left viewers - - - - -

- - - all 47 of them.

Shake up! Is it forgotton that Zucker headed up the propaganda arm of the democrat communist party, NBC otherwise know affectionately as the National Broadcasting Communists? All Zucker is doing is producing is the same old communist propagada wine in a different bottle. CNN will remain what it has been for so many years: The Communist News Network and it will continue to have miniscule ratings under the reign of the propaganda stooge Zucker.

If Zucker was the Captain of the Titabic it would have sank twice as fast. CNN will take another huge dive with Zucker at the helm. But, in this case, no loss if CNN sinks.

I doubt sincerely that Zucker will do anything to right the limpness of CNN. The problem with CNN is one the libs do not see, don´t want to see and will not see. they just can not imagine the people out here in TV land do not want to listen to a bunch of whining liberals curse and malign our nation while putting plastic and sparkles all over the Dictator in chief. LoInfos do not give a hoot about real news, nor do they need daily reminders of who is in charge of their welfare checks and immigration awareness. While the real Americans, devoted to working for a living are not going to CNN at all- they despise it for what it is. CNN´s problem is the same one Air America had- total unpopularity because it is leftist. And, like the Air America holders, CNN´s people will not change the deadly and dreary venue even if they were the last lefty network in existence.

I hope Zucker contacts Bob Beckel and Juan Williams from FOX, they would be ideal hosts for that leftwing lunatic network.

Nothing but cosmetic changes. The Liberal bias needs to be addressed more than anything but won´t be.

The only viewers they have are stuck in the airport.
Even there only one out of the hundred is paying attention

CNN & HLN are overtly bias...anti-Republican and against traditional US values. Their avid viewers are leftists, liberals, progressives, and Democrats. Fox News is a better viewer choice they are moderate and support traditional US values...which attracts moderates and Republicans by the many millions regularly. I watch Fox News and do so daily.

Chris Wallace would fit in nicely at cnn.

Reply 17 - Posted by: Trigger2, 2/4/2013 6:06:27 AM     (No. 9156851)

After Zucker finishes shaking CNN, he´ll end up with the same worthless CNN he started with.

Piled high amid a trail of destruction, these tragic horses are among more than 100 thought to have been killed in the Oklahoma tornado. As well as human lives that were lost, farms around the suburb of Moore took a direct hit from the giant twister which swept up everything in its path with winds of more than 200mph and the power of up to 600 nuclear bombs. Witnesses who cowered in terror described seeing ´horses and stuff flying around everywhere´ and returning to find ´scorched earth´ and crumpled buildings. They came across distressing scenes of horses

A mother-of-two described tonight how she put her own life on the line by trying to persuade the soldier’s murderers to hand over their weapons. Cub scout leader Ingrid Loyau-Kennett selflessly engaged the terrorists in conversation and kept her nerve as one of them told her: “We want to start a war in London tonight.” Mrs Loyau-Kennett, 48, from Cornwall, was one of the first people on the scene after the two Islamic extremists butchered a soldier in Woolwich, south east London. She was photographed by onlookers confronting one of the attackers who was holding a bloodied knife.

In between all the political brush fires that have engulfed the White House in recent days, President Obama and wife Michelle Obama have still managed time for vacation planning. The nation’s first family is looking to cool their jets this summer at a house in Farm Neck on Martha’s Vineyard, according to the Boston Globe. Obama and his family are no stranger to Martha’s Vineyard, having made three previous summer visits to Blue Heron Farm in Chilmark. They skipped going there last summer, and their favorite Blue Heron Farm house might not be available anymore.

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa said embattled IRS official Lois Lerner waived her Fifth Amendment rights and will be hauled back to appear before his panel again. The California Republican said Lerner’s Fifth Amendment right to avoid self-incrimination was voided when she gave an opening statement this morning denying any wrongdoing and professing pride in her government service. “When I asked her her questions from the very beginning, I did so so she could assert her rights prior to any statement,” Issa told POLITICO. “She chose not to do so — so she waived.”

Former Rep. Anthony Weiner, whose career in public life came to an abrupt end when he sent lewd pictures to a college student on Twitter, jumped back into politics on Wednesday by announcing a bid for mayor of New York City. “Look, I’ve made some big mistakes and I know I’ve let a lot of people down,” the Democrat said in a 2-minute video announcing his bid. “But I’ve also learned some tough lessons. I’m running for mayor because I’ve been fighting for the middle class and those struggling to make it for my entire life.

The dam protecting the IRS scandal began to crack today when Lois Lerner, the IRS official who announced, and apologized for, the improper singling out of conservative-leaning organizations by IRS employees under her command, announced through her criminal defense lawyer that she will not testify as scheduled tomorrow before the House Oversight Committee. Rather, she will assert her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. This marks an enormous milestone in the IRS investigation. It can now be taken as more or less established that crimes were committed by Obama administration employees. Lerner’s lawyer tried to minimize the significance

The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. Taylor 3rd. Lerner was scheduled to appear before the House Oversight committee Wednesday.

Former Democratic National committee chairman Howard Dean considers the controversy over Benghazi a “joke” and “silly.” “Benghazi is a laughable joke,” Dean proclaimed twice in a discussion with Republican National Committee communications chairman Sean Spicer last week. “With all due respect, governor, when four Americans die serving this country, that’s not a joke, sir,” Spicer responded. “Oh, stop it,” said Dean. The former Democratic presidential candidate also said that there were “no serious questions being asked about Benghazi” and brushed it off as an effort by Republicans to score political points.
