| With his naked indiscretions and questionable fancy dress choice, Prince Harry has cemented his reputation as the Royal Family´s standalone party animal. But despite his fun-loving reputation, the prince´s behaviour pales in comparison to some of his distant relatives. Surrounding themselves in the world of bohemia and frequenting London´s smoke-filled jazz clubs in the early 1930s, the then Prince of Wales and his brother Prince George indulged in a life of hedonism. That is according to a BBC documentary that charts the brothers´ unlikely relationship with the city´s black musicians in the pre-war era.

He was Prince Albert, fondly called "Bertie"..I just started reading and see an error already. When his brother abdicated, Albert became King George.
This is Queen Elizabeth´s father and this is a very tasteless article.

No, it wasnt´ Prince Albert, future King George VI, it was his and Edward VIII, the future Duke of Windsor´s, brother George the Duke of Kent.

Look it up in Wikipedia. Prince George mentioned here was the fourth son and fifth child of George V.
There was Edward Albert Christian George Andrew Patrick David, Duke of Wales who later abdicated.
Then Albert Frederick Arthur George,the stutterer who became King and father to Elizabeth, took George as the Royal name because Albert was German origin going back to Victoria´s husband.
Then Victoria Alexandra Alice Mary, Princess Mary, aunt to Elizabeth.
Then Henry William Frederick Albert, Duke of Gloucester, who was also a playboy.
Then George Edward Alexander Edmund, Duke of Kent,is the George mentioned in the article.
And finally, John Charles Francis, who was sickly and died at the age of 14.

WASHINGTON— The hunt for proof that Syrian government forces used banned chemical weapons may come down to a rotting corpse exhumed late last month from a makeshift cemetery near Damascus. The grave diggers — a Syrian doctor and several medical students — were seeking tissue from the remains of a man who had died of respiratory failure after a rocket allegedly spewed poison gas on Dariya, a suburb of the Syrian capital, on April 25. Reaching the cadaver several feet down, the team sliced open the cloth shroud, cut into the torso and removed a small piece of lung.

What do you do when your base is angry about Guantanamo? I guess that you promise to close it again. You also blame Congress for not giving you the money to do it. The problem is that it was a Congress controlled by Democrats that did not provide the funding. What about drones? You promise that we will "drone" more carefully from now on. Let´s hope that the terrorists will cooperate by keeping children away from them. What about tapping reporters phones? You say that it was about national security and because that "darn Congress"

The emergency operating room where doctors tried to save President Kennedy´s life after he was shot has been broken into pieces and covertly stored in crates for years, guarded as if it were a state secret. As the 50th anniversary in November of the President´s assassination nears, an investigative team from local Dallas station WFAA went digging for the exact location of the broken tiles and medical equipment used on that fateful day. They found that the room was formally destroyed in 1972 when Parkland Hospital was going through an expansion and Trauma Room 1 had to be demolished.

Every Memorial Day, when I run into the grocery store to pick up those last minute items for the three day weekend’s picnic, I’m met with members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) selling their poppies. We cherish, too, the poppy red/ that grows on fields where valor led; It seems to signal to the skies/that blood of heroes never dies-- “We Shall Keep the Faith” by Moina Michael -I remember as a kid that it was very common to see paper poppies being sold around Memorial Day. You could even go to the post office and purchase one

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”
