Conservatives aren´t losing ground,the left is gaining by population explosions in the dependency crowd. That´s the dilemma.How do conservatives win over voters without handouts?
Common sense,balanced books,job growth aren´t catching on.
The only way for the left to lose is liberal policies affecting them adversely.But even then the tin cup crowd will be very tolerant. One example is blacks and latinos suing Bloomberg over his soda cap. Another example when the left starts getting slapped with Obamacare costs and that´s going to happen.Liberals are going to lose jobs,get their hours cut and pay more at retail and drs offices.Medicare doctors are going to hang it up.

Ms. Phillips has little understanding of US talk radio, Fox News, and the Tea Party. Her source of information must be the Leftist press in this country. Ironic.

Principled conservatism never had anything to do w/Republicanism; little more than secular progressive politics. As for the modern Tories, their decay began after WW2 w/the defeat of Churchill; five decades before Blair. Phillips is clueless.
