This is truly scandalous - but the real scandal is that his traveling buddy/host, the eye doctor owes 11 million in back taxes to the IRS and was the recipient of a $550 million government contract for some sort of security in the Dominican Republic. That is our hard-earned tax funded money, squandered and he doesn´t even pay his taxes.

Out of curiosity, I looked up who ran against BM in the 2012 race, Republican Joe Kyrillos. That satisfied, I next read a little more to find out about BM´s wealthy friend, the eye surgeon, Dr. Melgen, who took him to the DR on several occasions.

This doctor is fat and looks like he sweats a lot. He and Menendez were pictured at a swanky restaurant with wine glasses on the table. So I would assume they both were drinking. I don´t have a problem with that so long as the doctor wasn´t operating on a patient in the next 24 hour period.

There is no way I would let him near me or my family or entrust my precious eyes to someone like him. He looks like he would be the kind of doctor who would smoke a cigar while operating. It makes one wonder how Dr. Melgen became so wealthy - I doubt that it was from eye surgeries he has performed. I don´t think he would have made the roster at Johns Hopkins or any number of highly recognized hospitals -such as the Kellogg eye center here in Michigan.

What does it take to remove a lowlife like this from office? One thing for sure: he absolutely has no sense of shame.

Well, here´s a significant point I haven´t seen mentioned anywhere -- in the US, if Menendez had sex with an underage girl, he´s guilty of [at least] statutory rape.

Right and wrong on such weighty matters? Right and wrong on matters that are serious crimes in the US? Really?

Cut him some slack. How many Demoncraps do you know who actually stimulated the economy. It was the economy of another country but at least it´s something. I doubt he will resign. But if he does Snookie would make a great replacement senator.

Pedophilia is considered such a heinous crime even among criminals, that convicted pedophiles are often attacked and even murdered by their fellow prison inmates.

Yet the Democratic party seems to find little wrong with pedophilia. Harry Reid is defending Bob Menendez, and the Democrats act as if they´d be perfectly happy if the whole issue were to be forgotten and they could continue to spend their days rubbing shoulders with a man so evil even convicted murderers wouldn´t tolerate him in their midst.

No worries, Menendez is STILL being protected by ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, PMSNBC, NPR, PBS, NY Times, WhiteWash Post....

Well, to be fair about the possible Senate Chairmanship, he´s got the "foreign relations" part down pat.

If it looks like Menendez will have to resign, book on one or both of these scenarios:

The Democrats in the NJ Legislature will rush to change the law, a la Massachusetts, to take away the ability of NJ Governor Christie to appoint an interim Senator.

They and the media will relentlessly pressure Christie in any way possible to remind him that he MUST replace Democrat with Democrat.
