Obama Eliminates Breakfast for US
Troops in Afghanistan, Stuffs Own Face

If only American soldiers in Afghanistan were unemployed Democratic voters in Chicago, then they might be getting three square meals a day from the government. But the military is the one place that Obama feels comfortable slashing expenses. While spending at an uncontrollable rate unseen since the last days of the Roman Empire in every other area, Obama has been cutting “waste” in the military like 20,000 Marines, Tricare healthcare for veterans and breakfast for soldiers serving in areas where he would only venture accompanied by heavy firepower. Do our brave men and women know all this? If you know someone in the military send a copy of this article and let them know in just what low esteem they are held by their commander in chief. Hopefully the word would get around, since they will never see or hear about it in the media. We the People stand with our troops, and we need to make sure when the time comes that they stand with us.

Here is an article from the Washington Guardian´s John Solomon published at the Washington Times last Sunday. It seems to have missed being posted here:

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2013/jan/27/during-drawdown-pentagon-cuts-cooked-breakfast-for/

It goes into some detail about how this came to light and what the Army brass are saying about it.

I know people who regularly live on less than $20,000 a year and it is going to cost that per family for Obama care in 2016. And the IRS is going to collect it. Yet unemployment is 7.9% and 1 million quit trying in Oblama´s first term? Something has to give. I feel a revolution coming on.

I loathe Obama more than anyone here, but he had nothing to do with this decision. This was made much lower in the chain of command. These are remote units. Hopefully log/ops will begin supplying them with cereal, granola bars etc. They´re in a war zone. If your rear echelon support is changing that´s going to affect you. I went 6 weeks on MRE´s a couple of times, you survive. It messes up your colon a bit but that´s why you have an entrenching tool.

A day after the U.S. said it would not allow Iran’s proposed U.N. envoy Hamid Aboutalebi, a diplomat with links to the 1979 hostage crisis, to enter the country, Iran has dismissed the decision and affirmed it would take the issue directly to the U.N. “We do not have a replacement for Mr. Aboutalebi and we will pursue the matter via legal mechanisms anticipated in the United Nations,” said Abbas Araghchi, a senior Foreign Ministry official, as quoted by Iran’s official IRNA news agency. White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said Friday the U.S. had informed the U.N. and Iran it would not issue the visa.

Stephen Colbert, the political comedian made popular on "Comedy Central," will be taking over for David Letterman as the host of CBS’ "The Late Show" once Letterman retires. But Colbert is no ordinary host. The late night comedian built himself up as a satirical political opinion character who rarely shows a normal side. The New York Times published an article in January 2012 that looked at the many sides of Colbert, including his connection to God through what his mother taught him. “She taught me to be grateful for my life regardless of what that entailed, and that’s directly related to

The State Department has no idea what happened to $6 billion used to pay its contractors. In a special “management alert” made public Thursday, the State Department’s Inspector General Steve Linick warned “significant financial risk and a lack of internal control at the department has led to billions of unaccounted dollars over the last six years. The alert was just the latest example of the federal government’s continued struggle with oversight over its outside contractors. The lack of oversight “exposes the department to significant financial risk,” the auditor said. “It creates conditions conducive to fraud, as corrupt individuals may attempt

The 137-page, FBI-sworn affidavit against California State Sen. Leland Yee, a Democrat who is also running for Secretary of State, and over two dozen other individuals reads like a crime thriller. Beyond the widely reported stories of alleged wire fraud, money laundering, corruption, and bribery, the affidavit contains tales of alleged murder-for-hire plots involving a political consultant close to Yee, as well as large international weapons trafficking operations. Following Republican David Jolly’s win over Democrat Alex Sink in last week’s special election in Florida, the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) has revealed the number one word that fires up GOP voters. Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day. When the Civil Rights Act passed in 1964, the primary purpose was to root out discrimination in public accommodations (like hotels and movie theaters)
