Big brother to log your

GPs are to be forced to hand over confidential records on all their patients’ drinking habits, waist sizes and illnesses. The files will be stored in a giant information bank that privacy campaigners say represents the ‘biggest data grab in NHS history’. They warned the move would end patient confidentiality and hand personal information to third parties. The data includes weight, cholesterol levels, body mass index, pulse rate, family health history, alcohol consumption and smoking status. Diagnosis of everything from cancer to heart disease to mental illness would be covered. Family doctors will have

We are well on our way with the same Nazi tactics to happen here in the gold old U.S. of A. We could now hear from the Mooch: Let´s Move! Everyone Counts! And it will have a very sinister meaning. Will the Brits rise up?

I have posted on this site before, and I know whereof I speak, the purpose of the electronic health record (EHR) that the HHS is pushing so hard, is not to increase efficiency and lower costs; we already know that it does neither. It is to create the national data bank that the article describes.

If the idea of Valerie Jarrett, David Axelrod, Rahm Emmanuel, Eric Holder, Michelle Obama and others flipping through your medical chart is disturbing to you, then be disturbed, they are.

Geeeee......who didn´t see this coming?

Once the government is paying the tab, they get to punish you for behavior that they dont like. Next up...... skateboarders, skydivers, cliff climbers, football players......

Do you drive an unsafe car? Are you dressed appropriately? Is your home green enough?

I know several doctors fairly well and none of them will permit that info to be divulged and they hate the current moron in the white house. Indeed this sounds and acts like the Nazis are in charge and anyone who does not mind will be marched off to the ovens.

This is how a government gains control of it citizens.

Obamacare is the beginning of the end of our freedoms unless we fight back.

SCJ John Roberts´ wrongheaded decision may have struck a fatal blow to the America we´ve known.

May he go down in history as America´s Judas.

I have decided to never go to the doctor again. My ancestors didn´t. Nor will I. I´ll eat real food for the rest of my life, cut out sugar and other refined carbs. And when I am ill, my body will fight whatever it is that is wrong with me. Or not. I shall live til I die.

Not to worry, if they try this in the US, our watchdog media and the ACLU will be on them like gravy on rice, just like they did during the Bush years!

# 7 has a point. Did HIPPA go out the window when they forced Zippycare on us ?

We have the right to look at our medical records; the insurance companies are looking at them all the time. Now I am guarded on what I say in the doctor´s office.

The FBI is probing past legal work done by Texas gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis, according to a report her Republican opponent’s campaign calls a “bombshell.” The Dallas Morning News reported Friday that documents “related to Sen. Wendy Davis’ work as a lawyer for the North Texas Tollway Authority are part of an FBI inquiry of the agency.” The news outlet said it’s unclear how much this investigation revolves around Davis, the Democratic nominee for governor. “It’s not clear whether Davis’ work for the tollway authority is a focus of the FBI or only part of the material collected in connection

Researchers at Princeton and Northwestern universities have pored over 1,800 US policies and concluded that America is an oligarchy. Instead of looking out for the majority of the country’s citizens, the US government is ruled by the interests of the rich and the powerful, they found. No great surprises there, then. But the government is not the only American power whose motivations need to be rigourously examined. Some 2,400 miles away from Washington, in Silicon Valley, Google is aggressively gaining power with little to keep it in check. It has cosied up to governments around the world so effectively that its chairman,

Lynch recently was interviewed by The Boston Herald about upcoming Obamacare problems and how devastating they will be for Democrats. That runs contrary to cut current news cycle Democratic spin that (allegedly) meeting sign up goals means electoral problems related to Obamacare are over. U.S. Rep. Stephen Lynch, the

Then-Sens. Joe Biden and John Kerry were both opposed to Hillary Clinton’s 1993 health-care reform program, according to documents released by the Clinton presidential library. Clinton marked a handwritten “No” beside Biden’s name on Clinton’s list of Capitol Hill lawmakers that she needed to win over for her universal health care law, known as the “Clinton health plan” or “Hillarycare,” to pass. John Kerry, meanwhile, was marked with a “Probably not.” “Hillarycare” ended up dying in the Democratic-controlled Senate in 1994 without coming to a floor vote. As vice president, Biden has been a loyal supporter of the Obama administration’s

Wayne Crews of the Competitive Enterprise Institute and Alexis de Tocqueville, author of the classic Democracy in America, were born in different times and places. But the French aristocrat and American think tanker have the measure of the federal behemoth in the age of Obama. Writing in 1835, Tocqueville eloquently predicted how it would function, while Crews today supplies in his annual compilation of federal rules and regulations, “10,000 Commandments,” the hard numbers that describe the behemoth´s contemporary reach and costs. It is always worthwhile to revisit de Tocqueville’s description of what he called the

President Obama addressed the White House press corps today, announcing that with the final numbers in, Obamacare´s exchanges have attracted eight million sign-ups -- 35 percent of whom are "under the age of 35," he said. Several elements of his comments were misleading: (1) At first blush, the 35 percent stat is both significant and impressive. As recently as last month, the share of "young invincibles" signing up for plans was struggling in the 25 percent range, far short of the actuarial target of nearly 40 percent. A leap into the mid-30´s, while still shy of the goal, would constitute a major step, and would bode well for the risk pools'

He hasn’t paid grazing fees since 1993, and refuses to renew the necessary grazing permit.(Snip)Rather than using the avenues and pathways presented to him, Bundy has staunchly declared his own law and allegiances. The White House is going to war with another fox — and this time, it’s personal. The Wall Street Journal reports that a red fox has been causing chaos around the White House, tripping security alarms, digging up Michelle’s garden and distracting the president from his duties. The Secret Service won’t give any details about how often the fox trips the White House’s obviously sophisticated security alarms, but rest assured, officials say, they’re watching. President Obama was apparently “stunned” to see the fox roaming freely down the oft-photographed White House colonnade, home to the world’s shortest, but most dramatic, outdoor strolls. Imagine a vendor on the National Mall, selling burgers and dogs, who hasn’t paid his rent in 20 years. He refuses to recognize his landlord, the National Park Service, as a legitimate authority. Every court has ruled against him, and fines have piled up. What’s more, the effluents from his food cart are having a detrimental effect on the spring grass in the capital. Would an armed posse come to his defense, aiming their guns at the park police? Would the lawbreaker get prime airtime on Fox News, breathless updates in the Drudge Report, a sympathetic ear from Tea Party Republicans?
