| "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character" -- Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. It is sad to say that nearly 50 years after his moving speech in our nation´s capital, the day Dr. Martin Luther King dreamed for his children has not yet arrived in our nation. In fact, we are probably further from his dream today then we were on the day he gave the speech.

Until people learn what real freedom is and how to handle it; they will continue to enslave themselves.

Keep pounding the nail, but it isn´t being driven into the ironwood that is modern America. Image is the substance of today, and it can change and/or be changed overnight.

There is a national organization of NFL coaches, former coaches, and officials, who are black. And they complained that with this round of head coach hirings, the Rooney rule was ignored. They want coaching diversity. Would they also agree with player diversity? Black players are disproportionately represented in NFL and NBA ranks. (What´s good for the goose is good for the gander)

~~Both Lance and Obama based their meteoric success on lies. For Obama it was Dreams; for Lance it was drugs. Lance´s days in the sun are over. Most Americans and most Europeans are disgusted. And yet, Lance is on the bumpy road to "redemption" in at least admitting the lie that was his life in competitive cycling. It is highly unlikely that Obama will ever admit the lie that is his life story.~~
Just imagine if an article such as this was somehow to be broadcast 24/7 on all of the networks? (....to show how steady, consistant advertising truly works)

Missing from this article - the content of the character of the media which continues to cover up every lie of zippy´s life. Without the media running interference, zippy would have been out of the race after a couple of primaries in 2008 and Hillary would have been the nominee.

There is more racism today than ever before. All caused by Obama and his ilk. Blacks are the rasists. More name calling come from blacks than any other race. It is a sad day for our country.

I wonder that in the deep well guarded recesses of Obama´s mind he is tormented by the fact that he owes his success to lies by white people.

The left has exploited MLK like they do anything or anybody to further their agenda. You´ll never hear a lefty call someone out on their character other than a republican.
I don´t really care for or about Armstrong but the president is the most important figure on earth and Obama is a bad example to everybody. he never does the right thing,it´s not in him.Millions are suffering because of his stupid policies and he´s concerned about having a pic with a gun to shoot down his skeet skeptics.
But Obama is a reflection of what´s wrong with this country over all. He´s a symptom of a broken down society that´s losing it´s ambition and is content partying as much as possible.Lebron James symbolized the breakdown in a simple thing like loyalty with Pujous right behind him.
Yet the left claims nobody should have more money than they need. They don´t complain about sports ticket or movie prices but condemn doctors for charging patients.

The immigration reform bill drawn up by the Senate Gang of 8 would boost the economy and lower the deficit, the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office says in a report out today. The newly released, and highly anticipated, report from the government’s nonpartisan bookkeeper comes as the Senate debates the bipartisan immigration legislation offered by the Gang of 8 and the House moves forward on a more piecemeal approach. The report, “The Economic Impact of S. 744, the Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act,” says overall the legislation

NEW YORK — The New York Police Department´s widespread spying programs directed at Muslims have undermined free worship by innocent people and should be declared unconstitutional, religious leaders and civil rights advocates said Tuesday after the filing of a federal lawsuit. "Our mosque should be an open, religious and spiritual sanctuary, but NYPD spying has turned it into a place of suspicion and censorship," Hamid Hassan Raza, an imam named as a plaintiff, told a rally outside police headquarters shortly after the suit was filed in federal court in Brooklyn.

While the controversy over the National Security Agency surveillance program has dominated the news recently, concern about the Internal Revenue Service’s targeting of Tea Party groups and other conservative organizations remains high and is inching up. Despite the large number of controversies engulfing official Washington, the number of people following the IRS scandal has actually increased in recent weeks. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 82% of voters nationwide are now following the IRS targeting story, including 44% who are following the story

Mixed-race people are more likely to be considered black by conservatives, who are subconsciously attempting to “justify racial divisions,” said the authors of a new government-funded study. The report, originally released earlier this month, has begun attracting criticism from those who see political bias in the results. The study was conducted by graduate students and faculty in the psychology department of New York University. Researchers asked participants to look at pictures of mixed-race people and say whether they

The Clintons are getting the old band back together again for one last geriatric tour. Hillary 2016. Because 22 years of Clintons dominating the Beltway isn’t enough. Her campaign slogan: “Vote for me. I am a woman. What difference does it make?” The Draft Hillary movement is really taking off. There hasn’t been this much excitement behind a Draft Hillary movement since, well, the last time there was a Draft Hillary movement. Remember that? Back in 2008? When she was the “inevitable nominee?” She was the “most electable” Democrat running? She was the only one who

President Obama´s nonstop fundraising for congressional Democrats is building a huge campaign war chest for next fall, but there is little hope that his party will win back control of the House and make Rep. Nancy Pelosi speaker again, according to an exhaustive new analysis. But the report from the University of Virginia´s Center for Politics also shows that Obama may suffer the fewest losses of House seats for a second-term president since Ronald Reagan in 1986, itself a big victory. "While it would be foolish to rule out any outcome, there is no indication at this

Amid a steady rise of backlash, Edward Snowden, the 29-year-old former National Security Agency contractor who was the source of a spring of leaks about the agency´s surveillance methods, conducted a live chat on The Guardian´s website Monday morning. Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Many Americans supported his decision to leak information about a pair of National Security Agency surveillance programs, which, he detailed, gathered information

As NewsBusters reported last week, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin called out vulgarian comedian Bill Maher for referring to her Down Syndrome son Trig as "retarded." On ABC´s The View Monday, co-host Barbara Walters astonishingly defended Maher saying, "I don´t think he intended it to be mean-spirited" (video follows with transcript and commentary): WHOOPI GOLDBERG: At a recent standup show in Las Vegas, comedian Bill Maher apparently called Sarah Palin’s five-year-old developmentally-challenged son Trig retarded. And Sarah blasted him on Twitter as a bully. Is that, is it, is he a bully? Is he a bad, what is he?

Five months into his second term, allies and enemies are as confounded as ever about who President Obama really is. Is he the dyed-in-the-wool liberal that his biggest supporters and critics suggest? Or is he a pragmatic, even cynical, politician who cares more for his popularity than taking risks for his ideological goals or living up to his rhetoric? Even in the short period since his reelection, Obama has provided evidence to support conflicting interpretations. His efforts to pass immigration reform, the unsuccessful push for stricter gun controls and tax hikes on high earners buttress the case for Obama-as-ideologue.

Jeb Bush says he’s not worried that his work toward comprehensive immigration reform and his ties to the GOP establishment will alienate conservatives and negatively impact a potential 2016 presidential campaign, referring to critics as “the chirpers.” “If I decide to run for office again, it will be based on what I believe, and it will be based on my record,” the former Florida governor said in an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network’s David Brody. “And that record was one of solving problems completely from a conservative prospective.” Bush (R) pointed to his conservative

Politico’s Playbook has an excerpt from a new Ryan Lizza piece from the New Yorker that is not yet online. It contains a passage on the back-and-forth between labor and the Chamber that has a quote from a Rubio staffer that is going to raise eyebrows, to say the least: “There are American workers who, for lack of a better term, can’t cut it. There shouldn’t be a presumption that every American worker is a star performer. There are people who just can’t get it, can’t do it, don’t want to do it. And so you can’t obviously discuss that publicly.” Here is the entire context:

Iran is preparing to send 4,000 troops in to Syria to support Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the wake of America´s announcement it will be providing ´military aid´ to the country´s Muslim rebels. President Barack Obama made the pledge earlier this week after the U.S. claimed it found ´conclusive evidence´ Assad´s regime has used chemical weapons against the rebel forces--which includes the most extreme Sunni Islamists--and has called for Britain and France to back the move. While Britain hasn´t made a guarantee either way as yet, more than 350 Royal Marines are being sent to Jordan

Is Marco Rubio, R-Fla., getting played by Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y.? During his interview with ABC’s Jonathan Karl this morning, Rubio didn’t even seem to understand what that meant. “Are you being played by the Democrats?” asked Karl. “Is Chuck Schumer playing you?” “I don’t — I quite frankly, I don’t even know what that means,” Rubio replied. “Is he using you?” Karl continued. “Is he using you to try to accomplish something that the Democrats want and is not — not a conservative bill?” Rubio responded that immigration reform was a bi-partisan issue that “all Americans
