Nancy Pelosi Meets with
Barbra Streisand, Plots Dem
House Comeback

Breitbart Big Hollywood, by Staff

Hollywood Democrats aren´t happy that one half of Congress remains out of their control. So a gaggle of big name celebrity donors, including Barbra Streisand, convened at the home of liberal activist/producer Norman Lear to plot a comeback strategy and watch a little must-see TV. More than 40 Hollywood politicos -- including Barbra Streisand, James Brolin and Haim Saban -- gathered Thursday night at a closed-door meeting at Norman Lear´s Westside mansion, where they heard Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi lay out the party’s plans for recapturing the House in the 2014 mid-terms....

Revised headline- "Nancy Pelosi Meets with Barbra Streisand, Plots More Destruction of America"...by the way I thought Norman Lear was 98 years old

Well, given that these are two of the stupidest people on the planet... I´m not really worried about any strategy they might concoct.

Is this part of the "Dems will rule until the end of time" plan? Babs may love the communist Utopian theme, but I know she does not like to part with the millions she has earned.

More reason to shun Hollyweird.

The problem is it is not strategy they are working on. It is how can we cheat to retake the House.

Among proposals discussed so far:

A. Downton Abbey parties for candidates. Enormous mansions of entertainers would be used for lavish fund raisers.
B. Free chauffeured limo rides to voting places.
C. Fund raising DVD of Babs Streisand and Babbles Pelosi in update of Lear´s sitcom, All in Family. Babs and Babbles both play role of Meathead, the leftist that drove Archie crazy.
D. Use of their armed security guards for a weekend if you give $1,000 or more.
E. Use of 2 or more of their illegal gardeners if you give $500 or more.
F. A line of Sandra Fluke contraceptives and abortifacients with Democrat´s photo on each for $100
G. Your photo next to life size cut-outs of Babs & Babble for $10

So happy that two such brilliant lovely
morons are getting together and should just go far away and enjoy each others thoughts. I wish they had even half a brain between them.

You may be right, #2, but their boy got elected twice. I admit our candidates didn´t help, especially John McCain, the most inept candidate in world history, but how do you explain the Senate debacle in the 2012 election?

I fear the stupid party, the party of steers, is just sitting there hoping that common sense will rule in 2014. Common sense vanished in 2008 and did not return in 2012. 2014 will be no different.

If you want to win in a street fight, you´d better learn to fight dirty. Steers don´t have the necessaries to do that so we´d better find some bulls.

The people paying the freight better get mad and it better happen fast. And for anyone who thinks Marco Rubio is the answer, you are a certified lunatic.

Yes, they want higher taxes, fewer well-paying jobs, higher gasoline prices.

They´ll work the margins, again.

Republicans need to stop worrying if some other Republican is more liberal on some issues than they are.

Elect Republicans, period.

Even a liberal Republican is better than a conservative Democrat who would only end up caucusing with the extremely liberal Nancy Pelosi.

The Dems see one last shot at installing the rest of their agenda by taking the House in 2014. They didn´t need Republicans to jam thru Obamacare.

If they end up with holding the Senate and retaking the House for Obama´s last 2 years watch out.

witchypoo had a little sitdown buzzard-party with madame bee ess? I can´t accurately imagine what that was like, but it must have been pretty gross.

I wouldn´t be surprised to learn that all the skunks, opossums and field rats fled the surrounding woods as soon as the meeting commenced.

The Repubs are more than doing their share to lose the House too. Since the Rpubs are voting like Dems, we might as well vote for a Dem. I know I won´t vote for my RINO again.

The House will remain safely GOP. Most Congressmen represent rural and suburban constituents. Cheating is only easy in the urban districts. And in those urban distracts, they can cheat like crazy but they already have 80% Dem voters. So unless they are trying to affect a state-wide outcome (Senator, Governor, President), there is little need to cheat.

James Brolin attended the meeting. Shouldn´t he have been described as Mr. Barbra Streisand?
Do you think that they still sit around and watch porno films Barbra made?

Appearing on MSNBC´s Andrea Mitchell Reports on Wednesday, NBC´s chief White House correspondent Chuck Todd came up with a long list of excuses for President Obama´s poor speech performance in Berlin: "I want to give you a little context here....there was an attempt to shrink the crowd size....Maybe they would have gotten 25, 30, 40,000 people....President Obama feeds off a crowd very well." [Listen to the audio or watch the video after the jump] Todd then grasped at other reasons for the lackluster event: "...you had that very distracting glass and you could just see that the President

Another Republican Super PAC is jumping into the increasingly nasty Massachusetts Senate battle, going after Democrat Ed Markey’s biggest weakness — his $1.3 million Maryland home. The America Rising PAC, recently founded by Mitt Romney’s former presidential campaign manager, is planning to deliver a letter today to Maryland’s comptroller urging the state to investigate why Markey has never paid state income taxes there despite living in the upscale Chevy Chase suburb for two decades, the Herald has learned. Markey’s residency status has been dogging him throughout his career, ever since the Herald reported in the early 1990s

Los Angeles County coroner´s officials said Wednesday the body recovered from a fiery, single-car crash in Hollywood that apparently killed journalist Michael Hastings will likely undergo an autopsy Thursday. But an official cause of death and closure of the case is not likely for four to six weeks or perhaps longer, they said. Coroner´s officials are hoping the results will answer why the accident happened. Officials were attempting to match dental records to help make a positive identification. The death of the 33-year-old Hastings was announced Tuesday by his employer, BuzzFeed,

Meet the Women for Weiner. The former congressman, who apologized for the lewd picture scandal that ended his House career before launching a bid last month for New York City mayor, is holding a fundraiser hosted by “Women for Anthony” next week at the Manhattan home of an education activist and philanthropist. The host committee is led by his wife, Huma Abedin, and includes her sister, Heba; Rory Tahari, wife of designer Elie Tahari; and Cheryl Saban, the wife of California-based mega-donor Haim Saban, who funded a short film lauding Hillary Clinton’s tenure at the State Department

Likening religious schools to segregation--a racist system that forced blacks to attend different schools and use different facilities than whites in the American South--President Barack Obama told a town hall meeting for youth in Belfast, Northern Ireland on Monday that there should not be Catholic and Protestant schools because such schools cause division. A group of whistleblowers, including a number of aviation experts, have come forward in a new documentary to claim that the official explanation for the crash of TWA Flight 800 was wrong and a gas tank explosion did not bring down the flight off the coast of Long Island 17 years ago. However, the six whistleblowers, all part of the original investigation team, stopped short of saying the plane was shot down. Flight 800, a Boeing 747, had just taken off from JFK airport with 230 people aboard on July 17, 1996 enroute to Paris when it exploded

An attorney whose firm represents two Benghazi whistleblowers said Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, lied to the Senate when he said there was never a “stand down” order during the Benghazi attack on Sept. 11, 2012. “What was fascinating is that he explained his lie to them,” Joe DiGenova, an attorney representing one of the whistleblowers, told CNSNews.com. “He actually said they were sent to Tripoli. They were needed in Benghazi,” said DiGenova, a former U.S. attorney, now with the Washington firm of DiGenova & Toensing.

Amid a steady rise of backlash, Edward Snowden, the 29-year-old former National Security Agency contractor who was the source of a spring of leaks about the agency´s surveillance methods, conducted a live chat on The Guardian´s website Monday morning. Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Many Americans supported his decision to leak information about a pair of National Security Agency surveillance programs, which, he detailed, gathered information

Listening to Barack Obama give his speech in Belfast on Monday, it was hard not to stifle a yawn. I kept waiting for the part when he would say something interesting, but, about three quarters of the way through, realised it wasn’t going to come. Judging from television pictures some of his young audience felt the same, after the initial rush of euphoria of receiving the rock star president in their midst had passed. This is not surprising, for we had already heard this number about the inspirational role of the Northern Ireland peace process and the Emerald Isle’s

This is the thirtieth anniversary of the publication of How Democracies Perish, an analysis of the spread of world communism by Jean-François Revel, one of freedom´s most serious French defenders since Tocqueville. At the heart of this work, Revel details "The Tools of Communist Expansion," among which the most relevant for understanding our current situation comes in Chapter 16, "Ideological Warfare and Disinformation." The profound simplicity of Revel´s nuts and bolts account of totalitarianism´s Cold War advance, far from being obsolete

Celebrity chef Paula Deen admitted in a recorded deposition to telling racist jokes, using the N-word, and planning a slavery-themed wedding, according to multiple reports. The May 17 deposition where she made the alleged admissions is part of a $1.2 million lawsuit brought by Lisa Jackson, the former manager of a Savannah, Georgia, restaurant run by Deen and her brother Bubba Hiers. Jackson alleges in the suit that Deen used the N-word at the restaurant and that Hiers sexually harassed her. According to the reports, in the deposition, Deen replied “Yes, of course,”
