His Queeg Moment
American Spectator, by Hal G. P. Colebatch

Original Article

In Herman Wouk’s classic World War II novel, The Caine Mutiny, there is a moment when a group of the ship’s officers are getting away from the increasingly eccentric Captain Queeq by relaxing ashore.(SNIP)Obama’s second inauguration speech may be his Queeg moment — an undeniable demonstration that, in an emergency, he is incapable of grappling with reality. For all his unceasing invocation of the word “change,” the outstanding thing about Obama has been his apparent inability to react, even to an imminent crisis.

A lot of people have suggested that Obie WON Kenya-Obie is queeg...

Did I spell that right?

He´s like a Prom Queeg.
He thinks he´s so precious.
Maybe even precocious.

He´s really just a vacuous, resentful, vengeful, spiteful DOLT.
Once our nation turns on him and his revolting policies...
The massive resulting rebelion will reverse and overturn his damage...
to the extent that remains possible.

He´s going down, whilst the Ship of State sails on without him and his nutsense.
"Clown Overboard!!" Lost at sea, like Osama bin Laden. His Muslim Bruddah.
Maybe he´ll enjoy his new 72 virgin playmates. But if he´s really queeg?
Not so much.

As a nation we are very vulnerable to attack by our enemies as never before in the last 50 years. Obama would not push the button; he would allow our country to be destroyed.

FTA: "The dancing is still there, the golf, the celebs, the multi-million dollar holidays, but behind them it is possible to detect a desperate emptiness, a interconnected mosaic of failure."

Well golly gee whiz Mr. Colebatch, why the big surprise? After all, our young undocumented Kenyan chief executive had never previously managed anything his entire life, to include a corner candy store or even a McDonald´s milkshake machine.

He might just pull out the ball bearings, if one of the syncophants he takes questions from would ask something other than "what kind of ice cream does Shasha like"
The conduct of the writers in these conferences is an embarassment to even the Columbia School of Journalism dropouts that attend.

Instead of Queeg, how about comparing Obama to "Foxhole Norman" Dike from Band Of Brothers. Lt. Dike freezes during a stalled assault on Foy leaving his Easy Company vulnerable and exposed to enemy artillery and mortar fire. Winters, the battalion commander, relieved him with no time to spare and the assault succeeded. As a nation we missed our chance to relieve Obama last November. Afraid we are stuck with this putz for another 4 years.

I would have to ask Mr. Colebatch to consider the man-child not to be incompetent, insane or in over his head. He might consider his actions, or the lack therein, intentional and therefor malicious.

Seems we have had this discussion before. If the won is dumb as a sack of hammers then he is in over is head. If he really is brilliant, then this destruction of the America we grew up in must be intentional.

Either way, I am beginning to think joe bite-me may in fact be a better alternative. Scary stuff kids. Scary stuff.

Anyone who has experience in giving orders that lives depend on, experience in judging the abilities of personnel under them to carry out orders, experience in managing people under conditions of great stress and time-critical pressure, knows without a trace of doubt that the man who currently goes by the name of Barack Obama, has not a whit of the experience, the temperament, or the mental discipline to carry out the duties of Commander in Chief.

A couple of years ago I came to the conclusion that Obama´s intent is to destroy America as I have known it all my life. On every front- finances, foriegn policy, military, culture, welfare, immigration, basic freedoms, his actions have been to weaken our nation, weaken our friends and aid our enemies.

After presenting at the Academy Awards this year, Kim Novak didn’t want to leave her house. The Hitchcock screen siren, 81, was too humiliated to venture from her home near the Rogue River in Oregon. She read the cruel posts and Internet snark about her appearance, and it was just too much. “It got to me like it gets kids and teenagers,” she told the Associated Press. The “Vertigo” actress, considered one of the great beauties in her day, posted a note on her Facebook wall Thursday, acknowledging that she’d gotten fat injections in her face and addressing her halted

It’s the stuff of Westerns: a showdown on the desert plains, the big bad government against an underdog farmer. Though the story has only grabbed national headlines in the past several days, rancher Cliven Bundy has illegally grazed cattle on the Nevada land surrounding his farm for over 20 years. He hasn’t paid grazing fees since 1993, and refuses to renew the necessary grazing permit.(Snip)Rather than using the avenues and pathways presented to him, Bundy has staunchly declared his own law and allegiances. Unfortunately, reality doesn’t work this way. If only it did—we could rebel for paying stupid taxes, refuse to

The White House is going to war with another fox — and this time, it’s personal. The Wall Street Journal reports that a red fox has been causing chaos around the White House, tripping security alarms, digging up Michelle’s garden and distracting the president from his duties. The Secret Service won’t give any details about how often the fox trips the White House’s obviously sophisticated security alarms, but rest assured, officials say, they’re watching. President Obama was apparently “stunned” to see the fox roaming freely down the oft-photographed White House colonnade, home to the world’s shortest, but most dramatic, outdoor strolls. The bushy-tailed visitor

A group of seven multiracial Washington and Lee University (W&L) students are demanding the school remove all Confederate flags from campus and "acknowledge" General Robert E. Lee´s "dishonorable side." According to the Roanoke Times, "seven multiracial students, calling themselves ´The Committee,´" have also demanded the school "acknowledge and apologize for participating in chattel slavery." They want recognition of "Martin Luther King Jr. Day on the undergraduate campus" and an end to "neo-Confederates" marching across campus "to the Lee Chapel on Lee-Jackson Day." The students say they will "engage in civil disobedience" if their demands are not met by September 1st. They added: "The

GREENSBORO, Ga. — Golf holes the size of pizzas. Soccer balls on the back nine. A mulligan on every hole. These are some of the measures — some would say gimmicks — that golf courses across the country have experimented with to stop people from quitting the game. Golf has always reveled in its standards and rich tradition. But increasingly a victim of its own image and hidebound ways, golf has lost five million players in the last decade, according to the National Golf Foundation, with 20 percent of the existing 25 million golfers apt to quit in the next few years. People under 35 have especially spurned the game, saying it takes too

Hi, everybody. For millions of Americans, this time of year holds great meaning. Earlier this week, we hosted a Passover Seder at the White House, and joined Jewish families around the world in their re-tellings of the story of the Exodus and the victory of faith over oppression. And this Sunday, Michelle, Malia, Sasha, and I will join our fellow Christians around the world in celebrating the Resurrection of Christ, the salvation he offered the world, and the hope that comes with the Easter season. These holy days have their roots in miracles that took place long ago. And yet, they still inspire us, guide us, and strengthen us today. They remind us of our
