Chris Christie Still
Loves President Obama

Gov. Chris Christie paid tribute Thursday night to President Barack Obama, thanking him for his help in successfully passing the Hurricane Sandy aid bill in January, and continuing the unlikely public alliance between the Republican and Democrat. Delivering his keynote speech at a New Jersey Chamber of Commerce dinner, Christie thanked Senators Bob Menendez and Frank Lautenberg, also in attendance, before he added, "I will end the political portion of this program by thanking the President of the United States."

How much of the money does anyone believe the hurricane victims will receive. What about those that still have no electricity or water and cannot go back to their homes.

Good For Him.

I could care less about either one of them.

I love liberty, opportunity and free market trading - things those two obviously don´t care about or ignore.

So I´ll ignore them...

I wonder if the part about him thanking Sen. Menendez will be used by his opponent in a campaign ad?

Christie is a big nothingburger for me now. A really big nothingburger.

LOL #2. Reminds me of an old Mad Magazine spoof about President Howard Taft (known for his girth and ´health´ appetite), who is presented with a young soldier to have as a snack.

That must have been one heck of a lap dance Obama gave Christie.

And you can bet that if Menendez steps down Christie will appoint Booker.

In 2016 when this pig is running for the White House, remember what he said and did in 2012 and 2013. Never forget.

He could get reelected without continuing to suck up to Obama. I am convinced that he deliberately sabotaged Romney because he saw a chance to clear the way for him to run in 2016.

Well, he´s coming up for re-election in a 70% Democrat state. What do you bet that even after all Christie´s turncoating and catering to liberal causes the Jerseyites will still vote for the Democrat?

Obama owes Chris Krispy a bagel bite for fetching him some sweaty, smelly lo-info voters to cap his sabotage of America. It will be fun to watch him and the hillary fan dance for the nomination. O Biden, we can´t forget you! So much talent from the Fat-Rat party.
Tubby still loves Obama, and so, have a donut, Humpty Dumpty.

Hey Crisco, how about thanking the US taxpayers? They are the ones floating you this cash. More exact, the Chinese are floating us the cash, and the taxpayers are going to have to pay it back - with interest! But the Poseur gets your thanks, love and kisses. How hard is it to spend other people´s money?

Looking forward to Christie joining the other team. He is one of them.

When a devastating tornado touched down in Moore, Okla., on Monday afternoon, Shayla Taylor was on the upper floor of the local hospital, in active labor with her second child. As the floor shook “like an earthquake” beneath her and ceiling tiles and insulation fell overhead, the 25-year-old huddled with four nurses, braving both the peak contractions of childbirth and the wrath of the worst twister the veteran Oklahoman had ever endured. “We were all just sitting there holding each other’s hands and praying,” Taylor told NBC News.

Hundreds of Phoenix police officers converged on a Valley school Wednesday morning in a show of support for one of their own. The daughter of Officer Daryl Raetz, who was killed in the line of duty over the weekend, graduated from kindergarten today. Because her father couldn´t be there, her Phoenix Police Department family showed up to stand in his stead and celebrate Tatum. "She had 300, 400 parents up here for her this morning," Officer James Holmes said. "It was absolutely amazing. It was bittersweet and it was a bit overwhelming for all of us."

We regret to announce that Larry Conners is no longer a KMOV news reporter. Larry was a valued member of KMOV for a long time, and we will miss him. For KMOV, there is no higher cause than unbiased, objective news reporting. It is what our viewers expect and it is what we work very hard to deliver. We can accept no less. Larry is certainly entitled to his opinion, but taking a personal political position on one of the Station’s Facebook pages creates an appearance of bias that is inconsistent with important journalistic standards. Larry’s departure has nothing to do with the particular position

Lawmakers pressing for more heads to roll at the Internal Revenue Service are going to be disappointed. “Why weren’t more people fired?” Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus (D-Mont.) demanded at a hearing Tuesday on the IRS’s targeting of conservative groups, channeling the frustration of his colleagues. Turns out it’s not so easy.In fact, it appears that no one has been formally reprimanded and a spokesperson for the union representing IRS workers said it hasn’t been called to help any employees yet. Most employees involved in the targeting program are covered by protections for federal workers

The Weekly Standard’s Bill Kristol has some advice for Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) on the Senate’s immigration reform bill: Walk away. “He should walk away from it,” Kristol said Tuesday on “The Laura Ingraham Show.” “He should say, I made a good faith effort, but you know what, this is not a piece of legislation.”The Weekly Standard editor told Ingraham that Rubio — who Kristol said he considers “a friend” — should step away from the “big government bill.” Instead, immigration reform should be dealt with issue-by-issue rather than by one comprehensive piece of “bad legislation,”

Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) backed down from a previous promise his spokeswoman made to Breitbart News that he would consider voting in favor of amendments to the Senate´s immigration bill that would close a loophole allowing illegal immigrants immediate access to state and local welfare. When Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) actually offered an amendment that would close the loophole during Tuesday’s Senate Judiciary Committee markup of the bill, Flake joined Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and all the committee Democrats in opposing the amendment.

Past presidents have
sent IRS after critics

The Internal Revenue Service controversy dogging President Barack Obama is hardly the first time a White House and the tax agency have been accused of political meddling and bias. Over the past week, Republicans have been trying to link Obama to what the IRS has acknowledged was improper extra scrutiny of conservative political groups seeking tax-exempt status. That’s despite the fact that little — if anything — has surfaced to suggest White House officials had advance knowledge of the IRS actions. The line between IRS misconduct and the Oval Office appears less fuzzy in IRS political incidents in previous administrations.

Former Rep. Anthony Weiner, whose career in public life came to an abrupt end when he sent lewd pictures to a college student on Twitter, jumped back into politics on Wednesday by announcing a bid for mayor of New York City. “Look, I’ve made some big mistakes and I know I’ve let a lot of people down,” the Democrat said in a 2-minute video announcing his bid. “But I’ve also learned some tough lessons. I’m running for mayor because I’ve been fighting for the middle class and those struggling to make it for my entire life.

The public got its first look Thursday at Lois Lerner, who has gone from faceless IRS bureaucrat to the face that launched what feels like 1,000 congressional hearings and conspiracy theories. But it was only a brief sighting since she didn´t stay long at a House hearing to further probe her role in how some IRS workers came to target conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status. (Snip)She did make a short statement to declare her innocence, however. Lerner´s motivation was more transparent than much of what the IRS has done in connection with this controversy. When you get right down to it, the political targeting and stalling of tax-exempt applications by the IRS was an effort to defund the Tea Party. Rick Santelli, one of the Tea Party founders and my CNBC colleague, was the first to make this point. I’ve taken it a step further: The IRS was taking the Tea Party out of play for the 2012 election, as it looked to avoid a repeat of 2010 and another Tea Party landslide. There are a lot of numbers out there.

On “Fox News Sunday” last weekend, White House aide Dan Pfeiffer was asked about President Barack Obama’s whereabouts the night of the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi. This was the night when we lost our first ambassador in 30 years, and when three other Americans were killed in an attack that lasted all night long at multiple locations within the eastern Libyan city. Since the president is commander in chief, one would think where he was and what he did during such an event would be of obvious public concern.
