It looks like the GOP leadership is staking its future on immigration reform. They’ve run the numbers and are convinced that America is trending towards a Democratic majority thanks to the Hispanic Diaspora. Ergo, they hope that by embracing “earned legal status” then they might soften their conservative image and steal enough votes from the Democrats to win the next election. But the Republican establishment has just one small problem: the Republican Party. Worried that congressional Republicans might muddy the GOP’s message with, well, racism, a lobby chaired by Jeb Bush has issued a guide to how to talk about

What part about ILLEGAL don´t these perfumed princess understand.
don´t care if you sneaked over the boarder yesterday or 20 years ago and have family, your still ILLEGAL and breaking the law. why is only in America we are suppose to bend over back wards for ILLEGALS and every other nation has strict laws which they do enforce, and very well I might add.
so sick and tired of congress, the supreme court and the president not obeying the constitution.

I think the GOP should get up in front of a crowd of folks in a foreign country trying desperately to come here legally and use the opportunity to put forward legislation to double legal immigration overnight. Then, the next day, same GOP member get in front of a bunch of screwed working class Americans and demand that this Adminstration start enforcing labor laws, immigration laws, and stop creating the black market labor force from Mexico which is destroying our American workers and sending them to Dear Leader´s food stamp rolls. There has been no real increase in wages in this country for the American worker in 30 years. These people vote, and many are socially conservative. They voted for Reagan in droves. Rubio and company will have a much better chance winning them over than illegal guests who have habitually broken US laws. And, no, we don´t need to round up illegals. We need to stop giving them government goodies and we need to start enforcing tax and labor laws EVEN against them. They will self deport if you cut off the gravy train. Mexico needs these folks more than we do. We need legal immigrants.

What looks like may happen if the Democrat lite Republican establishment does not come back to its senses, is that there will be an a very liberal amnesty for just about all the illegal aliens now in the USA, that will for the first time give them a special path to citizenship, after which the liberal Democrats and their political allies the many very liberal ethnic and immigrant rights groups will push for a streamlined process by which the legalized aliens will be given US citizenship and US voting rights.

Most legalized aliens will be poor, generally uneducated, low wage earners, with large families, who will need to access all the US social welfare and "free" health care programs to survive in high cost of living America. Since the liberal Democrats want to expand those social welfare programs and give the legalized aliens full access, while the Republicans want to seriously contract those programs and limit access, it is easy to see who the legalized aliens will be voting for in massive numbers.

The margin of Republican votes coming from Hispanics will probably increase from about 28% to about 33%, and the Democrats will pick up about ten million new voters to flip States like Arizona, Florida and Texas into the Democrat column sort of like California is today, after which the Republican (Stupid) Party will be consigned to the dust bins of history totally unable to ever again win national elections or control either house of Congress.

If America can´t fathom the difference between LEGAL immigration , which we need , and ILLEGAL immigration, which must end, we are so screwed.

Why is it that educated people w investment capital are kept OUT , while the undefended southern border allows millions of illegals to come in ? Amnesties have only resulted in millions MORE illegals coming here. We
Can´t even employ our own citizens so get rig ofn LLEGALS a nd hire legal folks. I had to prove citizenship to get a badly paid part time job soni can earn grocery $$$ and yet we can´t ask for same ID for
Voters? God save America ... It may already be too late. Ø And his one-worlders what countries without Borders where passports are meaningless. It is coming Faster than we think.

#5, good one! Ha ha!

Yep, Bushes are Limousine Liberals pretending they should lead the GOP,
apparently into perpetuity.

Actually, they will lead it into Hell.

So sorry Ronald Reagan ever took GHW Bush as his veep. Now we cannot get rid of them.
They coattail on Reagan whilst stabbing him in the back, policy-wise.
Snooty Ivy Leaguers, East Coast Elitists.

The Jebster is bloated, sloppy, got a Mexican wife, a drug felon daughter,
favors amnesty for the ILLEGALS who broke our laws to get here... need we say more?

Amnesty... Rubio... Jebster...
All three... DOA.
Got it?

Build a wall, use an electric fence, strafe the area, use our troops
for true national defense (rather than everywhere else in the world) by protecting
our own GAWD dang borders.

This is simple.
Our "leaders" are liars and traitors.
Screw ´em... !!!

Sadly, so many of the lost will still follow, blindly not knowing what to do or where to go; still sticking with the brand that they know although it represents none of their values, and hasn´t, really, for some time.

i usually agree with Stanley but not this time - people don´t actually pick parties based on feeling insulted, or not. The GOP has a history of being anti-Catholic yet the churchgoers are all flocking into it, because who cares what they think about me - they are pro-life. This isn´t picking a brand of butter. It would be actually "enough" to hear that the bigshots are telling the littleshots to shaddup with the bigoted remarks. That is a lot, actually, and if it is lively language and gets picked up and widely seen, that is not embarrassing - it is effective. There´s a reason Jeb Bush wins elections.

And I care about Jeb and his Mexican wife. Not. If the Bush family loves Mexico so much, why not move there ?

One of Europe´s most powerful media tycoons has accused Google of seeking to create a digital ´superstate´ outside the control of national regulators and privacy laws. One of US president Barack Obama´s leading campaign strategists has been recruited by Labour to play a key role in Ed Miliband´s bid for Downing Street in next year´s general election. David Axelrod, who is credited with masterminding Mr Obama´s presidential victories in 2008 and 2012, will join Labour´s general election campaign team as a senior strategic adviser, the party announced. His appointment was been hailed by Labour as a major coup, and ´´seriously bad news for the Conservatives´´, at a time when Mr Miliband has been under fire from sections of his own party for his campaign tactics. I blogged yesterday about this "segregated" Muslim event organised by the Islamic Society of the University of East London, due to happen tonight at UEL´s main lecture theatre on its Docklands campus. Much to my surprise, UEL immediately banned it from their campus. [Snip] UEL should be congratulated over this. As I pointed out, it has an "equality and diversity" policy. It didn´t know that the dinner organised by the Islamic society--which was to include a speech by the controversial anti-gay preacher Murtaza Khan--was segregated by sex and was providing a platform for an extremist. The university´s decision to pull the

Tony Blair´s religious charity has links to an Islamic extremist group being investigated by MI5 and MI6, it has been alleged. [Snip] The organisation has been declared a terrorist group in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, and could be banned in Britain, despite insisting they do not have links to extremist factions. The Global Muslim Brotherhood Daily Watch, which has been looking into the group for 13 years, revealed that Dr Ismail Khudr Al-Shatti, an adviser to the Kuwaiti government and a member of Mr Blair’s advisory council, is a leading member of the Kuwaiti branch of the Muslim Brotherhood. the

Deep in the flat and featureless landscape of eastern Ukraine, it is all too possible that the outline of World War III is taking shape. Whipped up by the Kremlin propaganda machine and led by Russian military intelligence, armed men are erecting road blocks, storming police stations and ripping down the country’s flag. They are demolishing not just their own country — bankrupt, ill-run and beleaguered — but also the post-war order that has kept most of Europe and us, here in Britain, safe and free for decades. Vladimir Putin is striking at the heart of the West.

Why are the US authorities trying to extradite and imprison arguably the one man in the world with the skills and influence to bring peace, stability, and prosperity to fractured Ukraine? This week I flew to Vienna, Austria, to find out in a world exclusive interview with Ukraine´s Dmitry Firtash, the billionaire industrialist, philanthropist, and political fixer who is striving desperately to help his country forge an independent future free from the bullying of Russia and the meddling of the West in next month´s scheduled elections. And his biggest obstacle? According to Firtash, it´s Barack Obama.

The Internal Revenue Service is considering a bold move to label perks like free lunch given to workers by companies as taxable. The agency wonders if freebies like haircuts and gym memberships are a way to compensate the highly skilled rather than just a way to jumpstart productivity. After all, argue proponents of such a tax, workers at Silicon Valley firms like Google and Facebook receive free meals from famously fancy in-house eateries every day. Some companies even go a step further by offering freebies like haircuts, car services, and child care. Typical workaday folks can expect to pay for all

Whatever the burning political question of the day, millions of Americans have relished the opportunity to tune into Rush’s program, knowing that he would quickly take that hot potato, throw a few gallons of verbal kerosene into the mix and elevate the matter into a five alarm fire with a just a few well-chosen words spoken in the style only Rush Limbaugh could

When it comes to tracking the cost of Obama family vacations, there are two primary challenges. First, the Obamas are prolific jet-setters, so there are many details to track. Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. But we have been relentless in pursuit of this information. Our attorneys file the lawsuits and make our case, and our investigators pour through pages of records and crunch the numbers. And the information we’ve uncovered – information that would otherwise remain under lock and key – shows that the

I am of course referring to the Bundy Ranch siege. This was a dispute between a Nevada ranching family with rights to the land in question for 140 years and the BLM (Bureayu of Land Management). The government claims they haven’t paid grazing fees for 20 years. The result was a government assault on the ranch- including snipers with assault rifles, SUV’s, helicopters, airplanes and over 200 heavily armed troops. No

Look, everyone loves Sean Connery, particularly Sean Connery. That’s why he plays Sean Connery in every movie he’s in. People love that Scottish brogue so much, they don’t mind that he has it when he plays Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez, an immortal Spaniard in Highlander. The guy even won an Oscar for playing an Irish cop with a Scottish accent. Talk about sexist double standards: Meryl Streep has to master foreign dialects to get her golden statuettes. Connery just has to show up on time. In economics you devalue a currency by printing too much of it. In film you
