See Al Squirm: Gore Faces
Tough Questions on Al Jazeera Deal

Word to the wise: If you’re going to strike a deal that you’re maybe not entirely proud of, wait until after your book tour to announce it. Al Gore did things the other way around and all this week he’s been paying the price for it, in the form of having to answer awkward questions about the $500 million sale of his Current TV network to Al Jazeera. As the former Vice President makes the rounds of talk shows to promote his new book “The Future,” he’s been under pressure to explain

I don´t have a problem with Al´s big payday, but I do have a problem with (1) trying to time it so he doesn´t have to pay higher capital gains taxes that he advocated, and (2) selling to a big oil producer after he´s spent the last 12 years railing about the evils of fossil fuels.

He´s a self-righteous jerk that thinks we´re too stupid to see what he´s doing.

Look at that guy...he´s got to be laughing all the way to the bank!
That´s right Libs, that huckster wanna be preacher from Tennessee is laughing at your superior intellect.
Gore, Clinton, Obama...dang if the Dems didn´t have shuck and jive they´d have nothing at all...
What a bunch of rubes the left are...

He should just say, hey, I couldn´t afford to keep the money-losing TV program going, I wasn´t going to see it to Glen Beck, and Al Jazeera was excited to have a foothold in this market, so I negotiated a deal for much more than anyone else would pay, and closed the deal before I might have had to pay more in taxes this year."

This is just Al´s rehabilitation tour. He goes on NBC, CNN, all the safe shows, and repeats the lie that Al Jazeera is a legitimate news outlet.

Gore is not alone, the truth eludes all democrats.

Why can´t he just say money is more important the principles. No, he has to sit there and lie over and over again.

The day of reckoning is coming...

Al "Poodle Huckster" Gore.
He literally makes not only my skin crawl but throw up a little every time I see/hear him. He is slimier than slime.

See Al Squirm - because he doesn´t fit in the chairs on the talk show circuit. Then see Al laugh all the way to the bank.

I saw him on a couple tv shows and when questioned he said AlJazeera was a reputable news site and he didn´t agree with those who accused him of being a hyppocrite. That´s is all he said, just that, he didn´t agree. period.

HIGHLANDS, NJ — New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said Monday that President Obama "has kept every promise he´s made" about helping the state recover from Hurricane Sandy. Speaking on MSNBC´s "Morning Joe" program on the 6-month anniversary of the deadly storm, the Republican governor said presidential politics were the last thing on his mind as he toured storm-devastated areas with Obama last fall. "The president has kept every promise he´s made," said Christie, widely considered a potential candidate for the republican presidential nomination in 2016. "I think he´s done a good job. He kept his word."

In the wake of this week´s false AP tweet about explosions at the White House, Bloomberg´s Jared Keller and Evan Applegate offer a look at how "false tweets" can move markets, sending stocks spiking or crashing in an instant. "The AP hack highlights the potential pitfalls of relying on social networks for tradable information, but false tweets have been affecting markets and companies for the past few years," they write. "In some cases the impact of false tweets can be immediate. On August 6, 2012: A Twitter account claiming to be that of Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev

Tamerlan Tsarnaev was on welfare, sponsored by tax payers. Tsarnaev, now dead, is suspected of bombing the Boston Marathon last week. "Marathon bombings mastermind Tamerlan Tsarnaev was living on taxpayer-funded state welfare benefits even as he was delving deep into the world of radical anti-American Islamism, the Herald has learned," reports the Boston Herald. "State officials confirmed last night that Tsarnaev, slain in a raging gun battle with police last Friday, was receiving benefits along with his wife, Katherine Russell Tsarnaev, and their 3-year-old daughter.

“He looks like me,” my son, Shibli, 10, said as we looked at a photo of a young Dzhokhar Tsarnaev flash upon the TV screen Friday night. Indeed, with his innocent eyes and rumple of dark curly hair, he did. As an American, a Muslim, a mother, and an aunt to a nephew on the cusp of manhood, my heart just broke for yet another boy lost in our Muslim community, taking with him the lives of others. Enough, enough, enough, I say, with the CYA—Cover Your A**—strategy in our Muslim communities.

Former Weather Underground radical Kathy Boudin — who spent 22 years in prison for an armored-car robbery that killed two cops and a Brinks guard — now holds a prestigious adjunct professorship at Columbia University’s School of Social Work, The Post has learned. Boudin, 69, this year won another academic laurel — being named the Sheinberg Scholar-in-Residence at NYU Law School, where last month she gave a lecture on “the politics of parole and re-entry.” Boudin’s bounce-back into respectability after her 2003 parole comes to light a week before the release of Robert Redford’s movie

This is a real thing that is really happening. For real. CNS News: President Barack Obama, who has increased the national debt by $53,377 per household, has proclaimed April “National Financial Capability Month,” during which his administration will do things such as teach young people “how to budget responsibly.” “I call upon all Americans to observe this month with programs and activities to improve their understanding of financial principles and practices,” Obama said in an official proclamation released Friday…

Watching President Obama trying to dodge raindrops and responsibility yesterday reminded me of the moment when Dorothy pulls back the curtain and discovers that the Wizard of Oz is “just a man.” Stripped of his spell of mystery and power, the wizard is worse than mortal. He’s a fake. So it was with Obama in the Rose Garden. His performance was tired and trite, ordinary to the point of dull. His veneer of passion was so transparent that you could see him trying to summon his old-time magic by pushing the buttons

Obama administration officials who were in key positions on Sept. 11, 2012, acknowledge that a range of mistakes were made the night of the attacks on the U.S. missions in Benghazi, and in messaging to Congress and the public in the aftermath. The officials spoke to CBS News in a series of interviews and communications under the condition of anonymity so that they could be more frank in their assessments. They do not all agree on the list of mistakes and it's important to note that they universally claim that any errors or missteps did not cost lives and reflect "incompetence rather than malice or cover up.

STANDING BEFORE reporters Thursday, President Obama declined an invitation to compare the recent scandals weighing down his administration with those that forced President Nixon to resign in 1974. So allow us to do the work for him: There is no comparison. Nixon, in a series of crimes that collectively came to be known as Watergate, directed from the White House and Justice Department a concerted campaign against those he perceived as political enemies, in the process subverting the FBI, the IRS, other government agencies and the electoral process to his nefarious purposes. Mr. Obama has done nothing of the kind.

The State Department, under Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton, created an arrangement for her longtime aide and confidante Huma Abedin to work for private clients as a consultant while serving as a top adviser in the department. Ms. Abedin did not disclose the arrangement — or how much income she earned — on her financial report. It requires officials to make public any significant sources of income. An adviser to Mrs. Clinton, Philippe Reines, said that Ms. Abedin was not obligated to do so. The disclosure of the agreement that Ms. Abedin made with the State Department comes as her husband,

In the wake of one of the worst abuses of government power in recent history, many are rushing to frame the Internal Revenue Service scandal as simply an attack on conservative activists. That view risks creating a partisan political football and misses a fundamentally scarier abuse that exceeds the scandals of Watergate or any other prior government abuse. The IRS has admitted that since May 2010 it targeted grassroots-conservative organizations that had applied for tax-exempt status, unfairly subjecting them to rigorous scrutiny due to their political leanings. Such groups were told they were required to comply with IRS requests,

President Obama’s press conference in the rain was not a success, if by success, his supporters would mean an event which convinces anyone who doesn’t work for him that he’s getting ahead of the scandal deluge. The sight of a Marine holding an umbrella over his head only added to the weirdness of the event. So what did we learn? 1. He has full confidence in Attorney General Eric Holder, the man who purportedly recused himself (whenever) without putting it in writing (whatever). When asked about the untrammeled snooping on Associated Press reporters and editors,
