Claim: Obama ´Uncomfortable´
at Touted Skeet Shoot

Breitbart´s Big Government, by Warner Todd Huston

Original Article

Posted By:Dreadnought, 1/30/2013 11:05:55 PM

In a recent interview, President Barack Obama tried to blow off criticism for his gun control push with a revelation of regular firearm use. "Yes, in fact, up at Camp David, we do skeet shooting all the time," he claimed. As soon as Obama´s quote went public, critics expressed incredulity. Fox News´ Jana Winter went looking for any eyewitnesses that could corroborate Obama´s claim. Winter did find a source who admitted that Obama had once been skeet shooting at Camp David—with the caveat that the President couldn´t get away from it fast enough.

This "guy" is ripping apart our beloved country and selling chunks off to the Communist Chinese and the big news from conservatives this week is about him lying about skeet shooting????

No wonder we´re turning off more and more lo-fos...

obama started to squeal at the sound of the shotgun. Probably covered his ears and pranced off.

I imagine his idea of skeet shooting is like that of Mel Brooks as King Louis in History of the World Part 1. "I love the peasants. They are my people and I am their king. Pull!"

His Majesty is like a ninja sniper. Himself can do anything, so endless are His talents. He can - behold! - make entire economies contract while his scribes and minstrels praise the contraction. He can make the worthless opposition scramble like mice to appear more Compassionate than Himself, the ninja sniper.

First clue: I have never met an actual person who says he ´does skeet shooting.´

Nope, if this were true, he would say he shoots skeet.

Obama fecklessly tried to pimp himself out as an all around sportsman and it backfired on him.The reason nobody believed it is because of his feminine attributes in his personality.

This isn´t that much different than Romney getting a lifetime membership at the NRA to boost his right wing credentials.

#1 see #11 as to why this is a story worth talking about. Sometimes lo-fos are like donkeys, you have to hit them over the head to get their attention.

#6 sent me to my dictionary with "transmorgafied". For a minute I thought you meant "transfigured", but that is a Christian term associated with a story about Jesus which doesn´t work for Bammy.

The closest I could find is "transmogrified" which fits for Obama. Dictionary meaning of "transmogrify":verb: to change or transform into a different shape, esp a grotesque or bizarre one.
Thanks for helping me to learn a new word. Dear Leader "transmogrifies" all the time. I wonder how he will "transmogrify" at this year´s State-of-the-Union speech?

It´s exactly what I thought - the noise gets to him. When I used to go shooting with my ex & his friends, he tried to teach me but after a few shots my ears were ringing. I did learn how to operate the thrower (which is why I suspect he wanted me to go along!) Also the gun was heavy & the whole business seemed like more work than fun & my husband shot for target practice to be a better hunter. BO´s hobbies are passive - chooming, watching ESPN, drinking, listening to himself talk & if you believe reports of his gay activities, he´s even passive & lazy in that dept. He´s not a person who wants to handle a heavy, NOISY gun.

The Secret Service would be very nervous at the thought of a republican congresswoman holding a shotgun near Ear Leader but in reality, they should be nervous about him dropping his own gun and having it go off on the ground. An IRS supervisor working in Washington told congressional investigators that she personally reviewed applications from groups for tax-exempt status, in testimony that appears to show the agency’s scrutiny of conservative groups extended beyond the confines of the office in Cincinnati. Holly Paz, who was a supervisor in the Internal Revenue Service’s tax-exempt status division, indicated during an interview with congressional investigators that she did review such applications, but indicated that she believed “tea party” meant political advocacy in general — not necessarily conservative groups.

The Supreme Court ruled today in Arizona v. Inter Tribal Council that federal law does not allow states the option of requiring voters to prove they are American citizens when they register to vote. The National Voter Registration Act of 1993 (NVRA, or “Motor Voter”) creates a standardized national system for registering to vote in federal elections. It allows for registration three ways: (1) in person, (2) when you get your driver’s license, or (3) by mail. The Election Assistance Commission (EAC, created by a later federal law in 2002)

WASHINGTON — The National Security Agency sweeps up data on millions of cellphones and Internet communications under secret court orders. But as it mounts a rigorous defense of its surveillance, the agency has disclosed new details that portray its efforts as tightly controlled and limited in scope, while successful in thwarting potential plots. On Sunday, officials said that though the NSA is authorized to collect "geolocational" information that can pinpoint the location of callers, it chooses not to. t looked bad last week, but it looks much, much worse now. The federal government has been spying and lying. Syria is turning out to be a sort of Spanish Civil War of our age, with Hezbollah and Iran playing the role of fascist Italy and Germany, and the Islamic nations and jihadists that of Stalin’s Russia, as the moderates disappear and the messy conflict becomes a proxy war for greater powers, with worse to come. There were always problems for the Obama administration intervening in Syria besides the usual bad/worse choices in the Middle East between authoritarianism and Islamic extremism and the president’s own preference for sonorous sermons rather than rapid action

Five months into his second term, allies and enemies are as confounded as ever about who President Obama really is. Is he the dyed-in-the-wool liberal that his biggest supporters and critics suggest? Or is he a pragmatic, even cynical, politician who cares more for his popularity than taking risks for his ideological goals or living up to his rhetoric? Even in the short period since his reelection, Obama has provided evidence to support conflicting interpretations. His efforts to pass immigration reform, the unsuccessful push for stricter gun controls and tax hikes on high earners buttress the case for Obama-as-ideologue.
