slaying of girl ´destined

With outrage over his daughter´s death spreading from City Hall to the White House, Nathaniel Pendleton made a public plea Wednesday for someone to step forward and bring the 15-year-old´s killer to justice. "They took the light of my life," Pendleton said at a news conference, where a $11,000 reward was announced for information about Tuesday´s slaying of Hadiya Pendleton. "This guy, whoever he was, the gunman, man, you took the light of my life. Just look at yourself and just know that you took a bright person, an innocent person, a non-violent person."

Maybe she´d be alive today if Holder allowed gun crimes to be classified as federal felonies... with Mandatory Sentences!

93% of gun criminals in Chicago walk free! Who is Holder protecting besides killers? Lawyers?

Reading this I see that this young lady had an intact loving family. She was aspiring to go to Paris, University, and seems to be a person who had her head on straight.
I bet the shooter came from a fatherless family, dropped out, or was not performing well in school. My heart goes out to her family. I hope Obama does what´s right and finally speaks out about the violence in Chicago. Remember, a gun did not kill her, a wild animal did,

let me guess..
judges, attorneys and social workers are probably guilty of this crime..
in 99% of the cases the murderer has been allowed on the street by these terrorists..
let me know if i´m wrong..

I want the shooter and gun traced... How was gun obtained? Legal methods? Full automatic weapon? Random act or retrobution?

Very sad for this family... Rising star able to escape the cycle of welfare mentality cut short in life.

Why doesnt Obama send his girls to a public school in DC?

A lovely young woman was stolen from all of us. The article is correct: someone knows something.

The gang mentality of ´´don´t talk to the cops´´ contributes to this tragedy.

R.I.P. Hadiya - gone too soon.

It´s not the judges, lawyers or social workers that are the problem. It´s the fact that prosecutors can´t prosecute criminals without witnesses. When the witnesses know they will be killed for coming forward there are no witnesses. It´s happening in every major crime city in the country.

The thugs have taken over. Police can´t do anything despite their best efforts.

Sympathies to the family.

A group of students from a nearby school were under a canopy in a park as it was raining. Someone jumped over the fence and began shooting.

Everyone ran. This young girl was shot in the back and died at the hospital. Another youngster was shot but survived.

Sadly, no one is talking. Not a single person is willing to come forward.

This is Obama´s home town. Rahm time in the city of Chicago.

G-d help those poor people.

#9, try reading the article before blaming the girl herself. Hanging with gangbangers? Where did you get that? She was with her volleyball team after practice at King College Prep, her school. On her way home to her family. Why assume she was doing something bad when you didn´t even read the article? The shooter jumped a fence and started shooting at these kids.

Øbama and his slave media must be having a Homer Moment over this - "Doh!" It forces them to acknowledge the vicious black-on-black gun violence they have so far very effectively ignored. Take the black-on-black gun murders out of the equation, the US falls to the equivalent of Sweden in gun violence per capita!

Waddaya wanna bet? Øbama pays very short lip service to this one- and the media will give it a day in the spotlight and then slink away.

This was a beautiful young innocent girl whose only "crime" was trying get out of the torrential rain we had here yesterday.

She was shot in the back.

Someone ought to at least get here and give these thugs some lessons on hitting their intended targets. If they´d only kill each other...so be it.

BUT...they seem to hit babies sleeping in their beds, children walking home from school, elderly neighbors and honor students.

Tamara Hall said on Hannity yesterday that it was gangbangers shooting gangbangers. Maybe she should watch the opening story EVERY night on our local 10PM newscasts.

Snitches get stitches. Until the black community comes to its senses and works hand-in-hand with law enforcement, nothing will change. They´d rather have baby-faced gangbangers walking the streets than help put them in prison where they belong. As tragic as it is, they have their own culture to blame.

I hold "twinkle toes" Rahm Emanuel responsible for this gun carnage in Chicago. Rahm is a crazy liberal who thinks that banning guns will get guns off the streets. Chicago is basically a gun-free zone thanks to crazy Liberals like Rahm, so only criminals have guns and commit daily atrocities like this.

For more than 30 years, Hustler’s flamboyant publisher Larry Flynt has continued to send the monthly magazine to every member of Congress. Since 1983, Hustler has sent the porno mags in plain manila envelopes to every Congressional office as Mr. Flynt’s unique way of petitioning the government, National Journal reported. Congress tried in 1984 to stop the unwanted porn subscription, but the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia ruled two years later that the delivery of the magazine could not be stopped under the First Amendment. “Receiving Hustler once each month would not unduly burden a Member of Congress,”

President Obama said Thursday more than 8 million Americans selected a private health plan through his signature health overhaul, topping the most recent tally by a half-million people and offering the president an opportunity to blast Republicans for criticizing his efforts. “This thing is working,” he said, cautioning his law will not solve everything that ails the country’s health care system. He then openly criticized GOP lawmakers for trying to repeal his law. “They still can’t bring themselves to admit that the Affordable Care Act is working,” he said. Sen. Cornyn sent a letter to the attorney general on Wednesday in response to remarks he made in testimony before a House subcommittee earlier this month, which were first reported by the Washington Free Beacon. Holder said his agency is “exploring” technology to make guns “more safe.” “By making them either through finger print identification, the gun talks to a bracelet or

An army of NYPD cops on Thursday evicted a homeless man from his Manhattan Bridge “home” — which was complete with a gas heater, hot sauce and beer. A dozen officers from both the 5th and 84th Precincts plus four Emergency Service Unit cops launched the raid about 9:50 a.m. A DOT worker on a ladder first used bolt cutters to remove a red bicycle lock on the wooden structure — which turned out to be fully insulated with Styrofoam and a large tarp. “Police department! NATO announced Wednesday that it is enhancing its military footprint on its eastern flank, and the alliance’s top military commander in Europe hinted that in light of Russia’s recent aggression, it is “important that we take a pause and determine what is appropriate for [the size of] U.S. forces in Europe.” The number of U.S. troops in Europe has dropped dramatically since the Soviet Union collapsed. Here’s my rough rule of thumb for taking on student loan debt: “Think long and hard about taking on more in total student loans than you expect to earn, on average, in your first 10 years after graduating.” That’s a mouthful so let me put some numbers on it. If you expect your average annual income over the first 10 years you are out of school to be $50,000, be really, really careful about taking

Casual marijuana use may come with some not-so-casual side effects. For the first time ever, researchers at Northwestern University have analyzed the relationship between casual use of marijuana and brain changes – and found that young adults who used cannabis just once or twice a week showed significant abnormalities in two important brain structures. The study’s findings, to be published Wednesday in the Journal of Neuroscience, are similar to those of past research linking chronic, long-term marijuana use with mental illness and changes in brain development. Dr. Hans Breiter, co-senior study author, said he was inspired to look at the effects of casual

When it comes to tracking the cost of Obama family vacations, there are two primary challenges. First, the Obamas are prolific jet-setters, so there are many details to track. Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. But we have been relentless in pursuit of this information. Our attorneys file the lawsuits and make our case, and our investigators pour through pages of records and crunch the numbers. And the information we’ve uncovered – information that would otherwise remain under lock and key – shows that the

Toddlers show racial bias when picking playmates, a study reveals. They also take account of how fairly others behave. Researchers tested the reaction of white 15-month-olds as toys were distributed. Two white adults divided the toys, one equally and the other unequally. Seventy per cent of the toddlers chose to play with the researcher who distributed the toys fairly. But in a second test, when one researcher favoured a white recipient over an Asian one, they picked the ‘fair’ researcher less often, the journal Frontiers in Psychology reports. The government claims they haven’t paid grazing fees for 20 years. The result was a government assault on the ranch- including snipers with assault rifles, SUV’s, helicopters, airplanes and over 200 heavily armed troops. No
