No reaction from White House
on skeet shooting challenge

Washington Post, by Felicia Sonmez

Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) is keen on having a skeet shooting contest with President Obama. The White House? Not so much. A reporter at Wednesday’s daily briefing raised Blackburn’s challenge and asked press secretary Jay Carney: “Your reaction?” “I have none,” was the response from Carney, who quickly moved on to the next questioner.

Yeah, just ignore it because you know it was just another lie anyway. Obama never shot anything but spitwads in his life.

Where is the Moose-Hunter, Sarah Palin, in this controversy?

Cain´t she use some free publicity by entering the fray now?
"Fox hunts skeet with Guerrilla"

Sarah could offer Obie a year´s supply of Deer Antler Velvet Spray or whatever as
the prize to compete for.

It then becomes a "Deer In The Headlights" story.
Btw, we have Gummint by Guerrilla...
With an 800 Brazillion-Debt Guerrilla in the Oval Office.

Time we joined in the Guerrilla Warfare.
(I´ll check the spelling on all this later.)

Obama probably shoots skeet (!) as well as he throws out the first pitch at baseball games...

I would say he throws like a girl, except that would do a disservice to women like my sister and daughter, both of whom have better fastballs than him...

Media and particularly cable news has never been as polarized as it is today. It’s also never been tilted more towards opinion and less toward objective reporting of hard news. As a result, trust in media has fallen to an all-time low. Reporters in particular are looked upon as dishonest brokers in the business, with Gallup showing only 20 percent of those polled finding journalists honest and ethical (that’s 65 percent lower than nurses, 50 percent lower than doctors and engineers). Solid investigative reporters are simply in short supply and demand. Why? Because with opinion programming so much cheaper to produce

Fox News host Megyn Kelly was shocked by Jenny McCarthy´s recent assertion that she wasn´t anti-vaccine in a Chicago Sun-Times op-ed and played a greatest hits montage of the “View” host´s many anti-vaccination statements over the years. “It´s really shocking to hear her now talk about how she actually says she´s pro-vaccine,” Kelly told contributor Dana Loesch. “Yeah! WASHINGTON — In her darkest hour last fall, Kathleen Sebelius suffered one of the deepest cuts from an old family friend who accused her of “gross incompetence” over the rollout of the Affordable Care Act and demanded that she resign as secretary of health and human services. Now she is weighing revenge. Ms. Sebelius is considering entreaties from Democrats who want her to run against that old friend, Senator Pat Roberts, Republican of Kansas. Several Democrats said this week that Ms. Sebelius had been mentioned with growing frequency as someone who could wage a serious challenge to Mr. Roberts, 77, who is

On Saturday, I wrote about the standoff at Bundy Ranch. That post drew a remarkable amount of traffic, even though, as I wrote then, I had not quite decided what to make of the story. Since then, I have continued to study the facts and have drawn some conclusions. Here they are. First, it must be admitted that legally, Bundy doesn’t have a leg to stand on. The Bureau of Land Management has been charging him grazing fees since the early 1990s, which he has refused to pay. Further, BLM has issued orders limiting the area on which Bundy’s cows can

The moon took on an eerie blood-red hue early Tuesday during the first total lunar eclipse of 2014, a celestial sight that wowed potentially millions of stargazers across North and South America. The total lunar eclipse of April 15 lasted about 3.5 hours between late Monday and early Tuesday, with the Earth´s shadow slowing darkening the face of the so-called "Blood Moon" in a jaw-dropping sight for stargazers willing to stay up extra late or rise super-early for the event. "Definitely worth the early wake-up call," skywatcher Brett Bonine of Arkansas told Space.com in an email.

Don Lemon filled in as a guest co-host on The View Monday, and right off the bat he faced questions about CNN’s near-nonstop MH370 coverage. Barbara Walters told him that CNN’s covered this “more than any other story than I can remember.” Lemon said, “I think you’re probably right, but the audience interest is there.” Walters brought up the ratings issue, to which Lemon responded, “It’s not just the ratings, but we’re giving––part of what our mission is to give the audience what they want.” He argued that it’s important to keep covering the missing plane for the sake of the

Like him or hate him, there is no disputing that Rush Limbaugh’s very special brand of mixing right-wing politics with his flare for entertainment has produced one of the most successful radio programs in the medium’s long history. Whatever the burning political question of the day, millions of Americans have relished the opportunity to tune into Rush’s program, knowing that he would quickly take that hot potato, throw a few gallons of verbal kerosene into the mix and elevate the matter into a five alarm fire with a just a few well-chosen words spoken in the style only Rush Limbaugh could

When it comes to tracking the cost of Obama family vacations, there are two primary challenges. First, the Obamas are prolific jet-setters, so there are many details to track. Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. But we have been relentless in pursuit of this information. Our attorneys file the lawsuits and make our case, and our investigators pour through pages of records and crunch the numbers. And the information we’ve uncovered – information that would otherwise remain under lock and key – shows that the

I live in Las Vegas. I live and breath Nevada politics. Something is very wrong. Something smells rotten in the Nevada desert. And Senator Harry Reid’s fingerprints are all over it. I am of course referring to the Bundy Ranch siege. This was a dispute between a Nevada ranching family with rights to the land in question for 140 years and the BLM (Bureayu of Land Management). The government claims they haven’t paid grazing fees for 20 years. The result was a government assault on the ranch- including snipers with assault rifles, SUV’s, helicopters, airplanes and over 200 heavily armed troops. No

Look, everyone loves Sean Connery, particularly Sean Connery. That’s why he plays Sean Connery in every movie he’s in. People love that Scottish brogue so much, they don’t mind that he has it when he plays Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez, an immortal Spaniard in Highlander. The guy even won an Oscar for playing an Irish cop with a Scottish accent. Talk about sexist double standards: Meryl Streep has to master foreign dialects to get her golden statuettes. Connery just has to show up on time. In economics you devalue a currency by printing too much of it. In film you
