| The PGA Tour´s anti-doping program initiated more than four years ago has been met mostly with a yawn. Just one player -- a journeyman pro who seemingly had good reason for taking a banned substance -- has been suspended, and the notion that the game is devoid of such illicit activity has largely been upheld. That´s why the Sports Illustrated report that Vijay Singh admitted taking a substance that is banned--but not tested for--will be watched with great interest. Singh, who turns 50 next month, has compiled a Hall of Fame career built on hard work and resiliency.

You can admire him as a player, but he was suspended from the Asian tour for cheating and kicked off the Australian tour for refusing to pay his bills. His character is somewhat suspect.

I don´t see that using potions and voodoo stuff (deer antlers?)improves anyone´s skill in golf. You still have to have superior hand-eye coordination to compete for the money. Generally, golfers are concerned with endurance and good body health to stay in the game.

Tiger Woods flew a doctor in from Canada to help with his knee because I guess there were no good doctors in Florida. No big deal this same doctor was the indicted doping doctor for a number of athletes. Singh gets crap because he is one of only a few golfers that don´t worship at the feet of Woods. And #1, Singh has been an exemplary member of the PGA for decades and his fellow players would vouch for that.

If they did not test him, how do they know he really took the banned substance.
Half the stuff sold like that is fake and does not have the ingredients advertised.
Anything from Asia that is expensive is usually fake. The even have faked baby food formula and killed hundreds of babies.

Wednesday practice round, Baltusrol-the year Lefty won his first major; US Open.
Watching VJ on the course. Very reserved, quiet and barely interacting with the crowd.
A kid in a wheelchair is going by....obviously very ill, MS maybe?
VJ leaves the tee box, forces his way thru the crowd and spends a good 5-6 minutes with the kid, trades hats with him, makes him laugh and the parents beam.
The rest of the round, he may as well have been the Pied Piper......kids on the tee with him, VJ would have them point, and he would hit the ball so it would appear to disappear under the kids finger, smiling to beat the band.
VJ is the MAN to me.
And performance enhancing drugs? Dude, the guy may be a muslim, but that is DEFINITELY a beer belly he got!!!

The British army has more horses than tanks and must stop opposing spending cuts, a senior Treasury minister said today. An attorney whose firm represents two Benghazi whistleblowers said Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, lied to the Senate when he said there was never a “stand down” order during the Benghazi attack on Sept. 11, 2012. “What was fascinating is that he explained his lie to them,” Joe DiGenova, an attorney representing one of the whistleblowers, told CNSNews.com. “He actually said they were sent to Tripoli. Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria.
