Glenn Beck Celebrates Death
Of Republican Party With
Cake, Confetti, And Footage
Of Dying Elephants

Mediaite, by Andrew Kirell

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 1/29/2013 9:44:31 PM

On his BlazeTV show last night, Glenn Beck dressed as a doctor and declared the death of the establishment Republican Party, celebrating with an appropriately-themed cake and footage of actual elephants dying. With co-host Pat Gray lying on a gurney — a metaphor for the “dead” GOP — Beck explained that “the media is celebrating the fact that the GOP is on its death bed and the president did some excessive GOP-is-dead celebrating at the inauguration as well, ignoring the 60 million Americans who voted against him.”

Comments:
Beck was much better giving vital information about the background of Soros, Agenda 21, etc. when he was on Fox. I don´t know what purpose this serves except he looks really foolish.

That´s a party to which I would love an invitation. How about an ice sculpture of Nelson Rockefeller with the guests having propane torches? A pinata shaped like Jeb Bush. A Karl Rove dunk tank. A cowpie eating contest starring John McCain and Lindsey Graham.

And on the far side of the shark tank? Nuthin´ but deep, cold water.

Look, never forget (I´m in the biz)

Any commercial supported commentator, talk show host whatever has only one job - to sell advertising to as many listeners as they can

any other benefit is purely coincidental

That´s a pretty broad brush, #6.

I´m in advertising, also, and some people get their sponsors because of how many fans they have that like to hear what they´re saying.

Glenn Beck has always called himself a rodeo clown & he proved it with this show. He´s also done more investigative journalism than any other radio or television commentator in my lifetime. He sure got the attention he wanted on this one, though! Sometimes this backfires with advertisers, as you also know.

The GOP elites think that conservatives have no other viable place to go. They´re wrong - dead wrong. 2014 seems lost already. I´d rather forfeit one or two elections to enable a long-overdue re-alignment of the political spectrum. If the GOP couldn´t win in 2012 - which should have been a "gimme", they are not likely to win for several elections to come. The current "outreach" to Hispanics by yielding on illegal immigration only highlights their futility. Perfect time to make some fundamental changes.

The GOP elite is chock full of Progressives like McCain who fully buy into agenda 21. If we stay on the same path, the US is doomed.

I keep praying The Heritage Foundation forms a Heritage Party, to preserve the constitution. We have a lot of strong patriots... Paul, Palin, West, Cain...

Failing that, I pray for cessation. 23 states filed.. if we joined forces, we could form our own Free US..

Reply 10 - Posted by: byzantine, 1/30/2013 1:14:18 AM     (No. 9147677)

You are 100% correct #8. Had the GOP taken conservatives seriously, they wouldn´t be in the current situation they find themselves in now. This past election was no different than the one before it. The country club elite turned their noses up at the Conservative members and thought that "throwing them a bone" or two would be sufficient enough to buy off their votes. But many of us Conservatives stayed home. I did not see one thing incorrect in anything Glenn Beck said in his segment about the GOP dying.. he was right.

The GOP in better days, stood for conservative principles and those ideals our Constitution was founded upon. WAKE UP GOP! This is our Government, our lively-hood we are talking about. It´s not a popularity contest or a some product that needs to be marketed... Either stand up and fight viciously for those principles or get the hell out of the party. A REAL fighter does not back down when pushed, they push back twice as hard!

In talking to DH this morning, told him that if the GOP caves into this immigration issue I would never vote GOP again. Given the fact that I would never vote for a d´rat, believe I´ll drop out and stay home on election day. My vote seems to count less and less as time
goes by.

Glenn, shame on you. No viewer enjoys seeing elephants suffer. My husband can´t stand to watch that one sitting on the couch in an uncomfortable position in that COPD ad.

EXCLUSIVE: In the hallowed halls of Columbia University, a nest of ex-cons — who have served time for murder, attempted murder, robbery and assault — hold court on their unique brand of social justice for admiring students enrolled in the school´s social work program, a FoxNews.com investigation has found. The ex-cons work for or with the Criminal Justice Initiative (CJI), co-founded in 2009 by former Weather Underground operative and Columbia adjunct professor Kathy Boudin, who pleaded guilty to felony murder for her role in an infamous 1981 armed robbery that left two police officers and a security guard dead.

On Rush Limbaugh’s radio show this afternoon, Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, denounced the Gang of Eight immigration reform bill, encouraging his audience to call their member of Congress to oppose the bill. Cruz noted there were about 20 Republican Senators that were on the fence about voting for the bill, but that he believed that it was “politically foolish” and “terrible for the country.” “It doesn’t fix the problem,” Cruz said. “We need to fix the problem, secure the borders and improve legal immigration.” Cruz dismissed the Congressional Budget Office report showing that the bill would actually decrease federal

President Obama´s visit to the Group of Eight summit has created a political row in Ireland after an outspoken liberal lawmaker on Wednesday denounced the U.S. president as a “war criminal” for his drone use and his decision to arm the Syrian rebels. Parliamentarian Clare Daly said her country´s government had showcased the country “as a nation of pimps, prostituting ourselves in return for a pat on the head,” The Irish Times reports. The “unprecedented slobbering” during Obama´s two-day visit to Northern Ireland, she said, had even led to speculation that “you were going to deck the

Billionaire businessman Ronald Perelman has helped land the wife of Republican House Majority Leader Eric Cantor on the board of directors of Revlon—the latest politically connected appointment to the board of a company he controls. Perelman, 70, has been a political player for decades. He dishes out large campaign checks. He employs a team of lobbyists to patrol the nation’s capital to protect his business interests. And he has ensured that a steady stream of political elites land on the payrolls or boards of directors of his businesses. Among the political bold-named faces that have filled

President Obama on Tuesday downplayed Afghan President Hamid Karzai’s decision to suspend talks on a long-term security deal with the U.S. in protest of the launch of formal peace talks with the Taliban. Karzai also pulled out of peace talks with the Taliban the Obama administration agreed to hold in Qatar, which are to begin Thursday. Obama said his administration had always anticipated "difficult negotiations." "We had extensive conversations with President Karzai both before and after the Taliban opened the office in Doha," Obama told reporters at a joint press conference in Berlin with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

It probably wouldn´t have shocked political observers if Sen. Marco Rubio´s job approval ratings had taken a hit since becoming the Republican face of comprehensive immigration reform earlier this year. But the Florida Republican´s numbers in his home state are actually close to their best ever, according to a new Quinnipiac University poll released on Wednesday, though the senator did get low marks from voters for his handling of both immigration and gun control. Rubio had a job approval rating of 51 percent to 35 percent, the survey of registered voters found.

A group of whistleblowers, including a number of aviation experts, have come forward in a new documentary to claim that the official explanation for the crash of TWA Flight 800 was wrong and a gas tank explosion did not bring down the flight off the coast of Long Island 17 years ago. However, the six whistleblowers, all part of the original investigation team, stopped short of saying the plane was shot down. Flight 800, a Boeing 747, had just taken off from JFK airport with 230 people aboard on July 17, 1996 enroute to Paris when it exploded

An attorney whose firm represents two Benghazi whistleblowers said Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, lied to the Senate when he said there was never a “stand down” order during the Benghazi attack on Sept. 11, 2012. “What was fascinating is that he explained his lie to them,” Joe DiGenova, an attorney representing one of the whistleblowers, told CNSNews.com. “He actually said they were sent to Tripoli. They were needed in Benghazi,” said DiGenova, a former U.S. attorney, now with the Washington firm of DiGenova & Toensing.

Amid a steady rise of backlash, Edward Snowden, the 29-year-old former National Security Agency contractor who was the source of a spring of leaks about the agency´s surveillance methods, conducted a live chat on The Guardian´s website Monday morning. Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Many Americans supported his decision to leak information about a pair of National Security Agency surveillance programs, which, he detailed, gathered information

Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. "Really, what we´re trying to do is take sides against extremists of all sorts and in favor of people who are in favor of moderation, tolerance, representative government, and over the long-term, stability and prosperity for the people of Syria," said Obama.

Marco Rubio. Paul Ryan. The IRS. Illegal immigration. And fraud to the tune of billions.. Now there’s a combustible mix. Let’s start with the IRS, illegal immigration and fraud. We’ll come back in a minute to Senator Rubio and Congressman Ryan. For those who came in late, a year before the IRS scandals burst onto the scene in early May of 2013, an alert investigative reporter for WTHR-Indianapolis (Channel 13), Bob Segall by name, produced a stunning piece of journalism. Segall’s video report is found here and we will quote from his story for the basics.

Glendalough is famous for its Medieval monastic settlement founded in the 6th century by St Kevin, the hermit priest.
