| "When you go swimming, it’s much healthier to keep your whole body completely covered, you know.” The Muslim lady behind the counter in my local pharmacy has recently started giving me advice like this. It’s kindly meant and I’m always glad to hear her views because she is one of the few people in west London where I live who talks to me. The streets around Acton, which has been my home since 1996, have taken on a new identity. Most of the shops are now owned by Muslims and even the fish and chip shop and Indian takeaway

Comments: This is entirely the fault of the former Labour government, whose senior officials admitted they quietly and deliberatelyopened up immigration so foreigners would swell the ranks of Labour voters. Whether Conservatives can stem the flow is a good question. But look at the relatively low numbers--this is what it must be like in small but growing parts of the US, like metro Detroit. I recall the time Durham, NC police were called because a Mexican family had a terrified goat hanging from a tree, preparing to slit its throat for dinner--children of the complaining family were screaming in horror.

I can think of some clever replies: "I still look good in a bikini, so I´m sticking with that; We Congregationalists sink if we swim with the whole body covered; So, I´ll put this suntan lotion back on the shelf. Refund, please."

I live in a medium sized town, not a metropolis, and there has been a time or two when I´ve felt this way. Once I was in the local Wal-Mart and thought - "am I the only person here who speaks English"?
And I have seen a couple of face veils recently. I have no problem with hijab, but face veils are creepy.

Bingo #1! Dark Ages. And some are to ignorant to realize how quickly this can happen.
Psychological warfare is in play in the US bigtime. Drip by drip we are being numbed out and our defense mechanisms being dulled.

Nations with a strong national identity are a threat to Globalism. National sovereignty and efforts to retain ones heritage get in the way of the New World Order.

When I was preparing for a business trip to London last year, a Brit friend warned me that I would not see many Brits in London. He was right. The city has been taken over by middle easterners, Pakistanis and Indians. There are whole groups of burka clad women begging on street corners.
I live in northern Virginia, about 45 miles from DC. Recently I walked from one end of the nearest mall ( Dulles Town Center ) to the other end without hearing a single person speaking English.
It´s happening everywhere in the west and will be our doom.

WASHINGTON - President Barack Obama says he is instructing his disaster response team to get tornado victims in Oklahoma everything they need "right away." Obama calls the devastation that tore through the Oklahoma City suburbs, quote, "one of the most destructive tornados in history," even though he said the extent of the damage is still unknown. Obama spoke Tuesday after an Oval Office briefing on the latest developments from his disaster response team and as Federal Emergency Management Agency Director Craig Fugate was heading to Oklahoma. Obama has declared a major disaster in Oklahoma, ordering federal aid to supplement state

Dan Pfeiffer’s job title is “senior advisor to the president for strategy and communications.” And on five television shows Sunday, he all too clearly communicated the White House’s strategy of remaining unclear on pertinent details about scandals now dogging President Barack Obama. “Fox News” host Chris Wallace pressed Mr. Pfeiffer on “one lingering question” about last Sept. 11’s terrorist attack on the U.S. diplomatic facility in Benghazi, Libya: “What did the president do that night?” After Mr. Pfeiffer tried a few end runs, Mr. Wallace asked: “Was he in the Situation Room?”

Latest - 10.33 (04.33) This from the New York Times: When the tornado sirens went off around 2.15pm, the staff of the AgapeLand Learning Centre, a day care facility, moved 15 children into two bathrooms, draping them with a protective covering and singing songs with them to keep them calm. As the wind ripped off the roof of one of the bathrooms, they all sang "You Are My Sunshine" to remain calm. None of the children were harmed. 10.25 (04.25) KFOR news has provided us with a map of the paths of the various tornadoes to hit Moore

A number of heartless looters have emerged amid the tragedy of the deadly Oklahoma tornado, storming a storm-damaged hospital facility and helping themselves to various items, a report claims. Reports of looting came in as Moore, one of the hardest-hit towns in the storm, deals with the loss of more than 51 people who have been confirmed dead, and another 120 injured. The vandals were spotted at the Moore Medical Center, a small facility that sustained damage in the twister. It was a location that was hit hard by the twister, and where rescuers sprung into action to get 15

The floor of the community centre in Springdale, Arkansas, shakes to a staccato rhythm as the young Latino dancers practise their steps. [Snip] It is about nourishing their Mexican roots, making sure their culture doesn´t shrivel and die in this corner of the Deep South. I have come to Springdale because it is a harbinger of America´s future. Ten years ago there were hardly any Latinos here--now they make up more than 30% of the population. Predictions suggest that by 2030, this is what the US will look like. Changing attitudes? Right now, one in four Americans under 18 is

The Hungarian prime minister has drawn outrage in Germany after drawing parallels with comments made by Angela Merkel about sending "cavalry" to Hungary and the Nazi occupation of his country. [Snip] When asked about the situation last week, Mrs Merkel, the German chancellor, said she "would do everything to put Hungary in the right direction, but we won´t be sending in the cavalry straight away." Viktor Orban however brought up the Second World War. "The Germans have already sent cavalry to Hungary: they came in form of tanks," said the prime minister in a radio interview on Friday. WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. Newly obtained court documents “reveal how deeply investigators explored the private communications of a working journalist — and raise the question of how often journalists have been investigated as closely as Rosen was in 2010.” Reporter Ann Marimow began:

The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

A senior adviser to President Obama mounted a combative defense of the administration on Sunday, saying the controversies enveloping the White House were the result of Republican lawmakers’ trying to “drag Washington into a swamp of partisan fishing expeditions, trumped-up hearings and false allegations.”The remarks came from Dan Pfeiffer, a member of the president’s inner circle, as he appeared on all five major Sunday morning talk shows in an effort to move the administration past what commentators have described as a “hell week” of controversy and missteps.

Stuart Varney said this morning on "Varney & Co." that one of his producers was given a questionnaire with some surprisingly intrusive questions on it when he switched doctors. One of the questions was whether he/she was concerned about unsecured weapons in the home. Another asked whether he/she was "in a relationship in which you have been physically hurt or are you afraid of your partner?" Judge Andrew Napolitano explained that the question about guns comes out of a post-Sandy Hook executive order by President Obama, but it will be required under Obamacare. Varney expressed amazement

While many Americans were tuned into news coverage of the massive damage from tornadoes ravaging the state of Oklahoma, Rhode Island Democratic Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse took to the Senate floor to rail against his Republican colleagues for denying the theory of anthropogenic global warming. Whitehouse spent 15 minutes chastising GOP senators and justified his remarks by alluding to states that seek federal assistance in the wake of natural disasters. “So, you may have a question for me,” Whitehouse said. “Why do you care? Why do you, Sheldon Whitehouse, Democrat of Rhode Island, care
