Doubting congresswoman

It´s about time for some bipartisan...skeet shooting? Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tennessee, joined a chorus of skeptics who questioned President Barack Obama´s recent comments about his hobby of skeet shooting, a sport where participants fire shotguns to break airborne clay disks. "If he is a skeet shooter, why have we not heard of this? Why have we not seen photos? Why hasn´t he referenced this at any point in time?" Blackburn said Monday on CNN´s "Erin Burnett OutFront." "I tell you what I do think," she later added. "I think he should invite me to Camp David,

I can´t imagine Obama skeet shooting.I doubt if he´s ever picked up a gun.The media can´t figure out whether this is a cool thing for Obama to do or not.

How could someone who bowled a 34 ever dream of shooting an airborne clay disk?

Besides, he can never get away during skeet season.

This is a nice way of saying "YOU LIE!". Of course, Obama meant to say he shoots bogies, not skeet. Its a composite target thing.

You knew this was another lie the minute it came out of his mouth. The kick of a twelve gauge would annihilate that skinny shoulder of his. I hope Congresswoman Blackburn continues to press her challenge. Show him up for what he is. Maybe Ed Henry will ask him about it at his next presser.

In 2009, the WH released an official photo of the Mooch and Obama watching a martial arts demo on the WH lawn. Photo captured Obama reacting like a terrified 10 year old girl to the fighter being tossed onto the mat. If the shrieking Clown in Chief couldn´t handle a mat toss, how could he ever hold a shotgun in those delicate hands?

He puts on his mom jeans, gets on his girlie bike, fastens his safety helmet, adjusts the elastic bands around his pant legs and petals to the bowling alley, where he bowls a 34.

Obama War Room: Blow it Forward

VALERIE JARRETT: Geithner’s here to give you a briefing on your blind trust, sir.
OBAMA: Great. No blindfold today, Tim. I’ll just close my eyes.
GEITHNER: Good news, sir. Your holdings in publicly traded firearms manufacturers have doubled in value. Smith and Wesson and Sturm Ruger have been going, uh, great guns since 2009.
OBAMA: Told ya so. Nothing causes revolvers and semi-automatics to fly off the shelves like a Democrat in the White House.
GEITHNER: Your investment in ammunition manufacturers was also prescient, sir. They’re running three shifts since you ordered five billion rounds for your new Civilian National Security Force.
OBAMA: I’ve always said, you can’t be too thin or too rich or have too many bullets. David, has Feinstein shown any sign of tumbling to my real agenda—repeal of the 22nd Amendment limiting me to two terms, not the 2nd Amendment?
PLOUFFE: Negative. The plan is still operative: we blow the Republicans out in 2014 and push through both Houses a motion to repeal, which then goes out to the states. Media Matters tells me they’ve accumulated enough dirt on Republicans in state houses across the country to assure repeal.
JARRETT: The repeal is then encapsulated in a formal document published by the Federal Register. It is then the law of the land.
OBAMA: Tell me the best part again.
PLOUFFE: You know it, sir.
OBAMA: Tell me again.
PLOUFFE: [sighs] You appointed the Register’s Archivist. He’ll make a slight mistake in composing the proclamation, adding the digit “2” in the right place, thus invalidating the 22nd Amendment, not the 2nd.
OBAMA: I love my country. I’ll stop at four terms, when Crazy Joe’s too old to succeed me.

I was on the golf course the other day. I play maybe 100 times in 4 years. Anyway, today it is very distracting because there were an unusually large number of skeet shooters on the range next door. It really takes away all the thrill of playing another free round of golf.

Obozo couldnt hit the side of a barn with a shotgun at 5 ft let alone hit a fly clay disk. If he did go to the range they would have to use exploding disks so he would look like the fool he is.

The only thing Zippy might shoot is "BULLS****"

It requires no aim, or target...Just a copious quantity of the latter product of a well fed bull.

Zippy has a definite high proficiency at not only shooting it; but throwing it as well.

Good job, Marsha!

When is Bammy ever at Camp David? Every week he is either out fund-raising (still) in far away places or he´s on the golf course.

By golly I´ll bet Bam Bam will take the Mooche, Bo and the girls out to Camp David for a nice quiet weekend(like what they all love) real soon. Mooche can finally take off her wig with bangs and just go "Angela Davis" while she´s there, since no one will see her.

I ran into Marsha many years ago at a gun show in Nashville while she was still in the state legislature. Cute, nice, and always on the right side of the issues. She was Tea Party before there was a Tea Party, and was very supportive of the grass roots movement to keep Tennessee from having a state income tax. I made a point of thanking her for her efforts.

She´s kinda small though. I wonder if she can handle a 12 guage. Can you shoot skeet with a 20? Whatever, I´m sure she could handle a bigger boomer than zero ever thought of doing.

OK Barry, do it your way. You´ll be very sorry after the first shot!

I was 12 the first and only time I shot skeet and that was with a 12 guage. I hit all three!

Posters references to obama´s bad golf reminded me of a topic I´ve posted on several times before. Just after the 2008 election there was an article in either Golf or Golf Digest about Presidential golfers. Zip was rated as the 5th or 6th best of them with a reported 16 handicap. Somewhat later it became clear that obama is no 16. Even though his scorecards are guarded and not reported, the word leaked out that his average score is in the 100-105 range. That means his handicap is more like a 28 on his best day. obama lied about his golf like he lies about everything else. BTW I´ve looked for the Golf magazine article and cannot find it. It´s as if the article has been scrubbed from the Web.

I had to go to the Freepers, but I found the MMA photo (scroll just past half-way down the post):
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2878442/posts

We´ll see photos now.... dated at least months ago, if not longer, to ´´prove´´ that he´s been shootin´ at them skeets for quite some time now. Great sport.

Or maybe he´s not the one shooting at them - maybe he lets his Civilian Military yoots do his shooting for him. Isn´t that what they´re for? (Gotta wonder if each clay has a white/GOP face or name painted on it.....)

"Up at Camp David, we do skeet shooting all the time," he said, responding to a question about whether he had ever fired a gun. He also added he has included guests on his skeet shooting outings.

The guy´s pretty good at lying by implication. But not so good that it´s not obvious. Just because "we" do skeet shooting all the time doesn´t mean he ever actually picks up a firearm when they do.

He probably meant "shooting up." I agree with others here who say he wouldn´t like the weight or the kick of the gun. Too much like work! I remember when my ex used to take me out target shooting (& sometimes skeet shooting). He tried to teach me how, but I didn´t like the kick or the noise. I enjoyed just watching the others shoot - which is what I suspect is all he does.

There exist an image of somebody who might be President Obama holding a gun at what appears to be the Camp David skeet range. It´s on sketchy web sites and various forums and has nothing like a provenance. It´s hard to find, considering its newsworthiness. And that there´s only one picture. No professional photographer takes only one picture.

Considering the expanded public interest in a the Presidential Skeet Shoots, now that Øbama has let the "cat out" so-to-speak, you would think the Presidential Press Corps would be excited with questions on the event- and, of course, photos.

Has jay C. been informed as to what to say when those questions come up in the daily briefings? Hmmmm? Or will the press corps, sensing a delicate moment for the liar in Chief, get the message to not ask any questions about this- you know, to help the so-called "President" keep his lie secret, like his university records and his immigration status, and his credibility intact?

Has Obama ever been photographed doing anything remotely manly ?
The guy can´t even open an umbrella.
On June 8 , 2010 Obama hosted the Congressional picnic at the White House.
He tried to walk Bo and photographic hilarity ensued as the puppy dragged him hither and yon.
This may have been the first time Obama walked a dog which is a lot harder than eating them.
A couple of photos had his loafers airborne-seriously.
Michelle , Obama and Bo all walked out of the White House onto the lawn together for the photo op.
Bo took off and Barry could not control the puppy.
Michelle was photographed suddenly breaking into a run ( in a dress )
after the two of them as it was obvious that Barry
was physically unable to control the dog.
Obama was just a moment away from falling down and Michelle grabbed the leash in time.
One iconic photo ( they may have scrubbed it by now )
had Obama , at the end of the leash ,
pirouetting up in the air
like he was a ballerina .

It is a photo from when Zippy was golfing on the day the SEALS killed bin laden.
Super easy to find the real photo, just google obamma golfing photos. It comes up immediately. It is also posted as part of an article at usbacklash.org

DNC Chair and Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) told Meet the Press’ David Gregory Sunday morning that President Barack Obama’s latest delay in the approval of the proposed Keystone Pipeline was not a political decision meant to animate members of the Democratic base ahead of the 2014 midterms. “As a member of Congress who represents hundreds of thousands of people in south Florida, I want to make sure the right decision is arrived at and that the president makes that decision carefully and doesn’t factor politics into his decision, which I don’t think he is,” Wasserman Schultz said. LAS VEGAS — Deep beneath Lake Mead, a 23-foot-tall tunnel-boring machine grinds through stubborn bedrock in a billion-dollar effort to make sure water continues flowing to this thirsty resort city. For six years, the Southern Nevada Water Authority has been building an intake straw below the reservoir´s two existing pipes. Due for completion in fall 2015, critics say it may not provide a long-term solution. An ongoing drought and the Colorado River´s stunted flow have shrunk Lake Mead to its lowest level in generations. The reservoir, which supplies 90% of Las Vegas´ water, is ebbing as though a plug had been

In an op-ed published in the Boston Globe on Easter Sunday and posted on the State Department website, Secretary of State John Kerry recalled his days as an altar boy and pointed out that he is “the first Catholic Secretary of State in 33 years.” Alexander Haig, who served as secretary of state to President Ronald Reagan from January 1981 to July 1982, was also a Catholic. Last month, I traveled to Rome with President Obama, where I was honored to meet His Holiness Pope Francis,” said Kerry. “As an altar boy six decades ago, I never imagined that I

Ten of the injured were taken to Lee Memorial Hospital, one of which was discharged late Sunday.

A man was charged with attempted murder and aggravated battery in a Friday shooting that left a 40-year-old man in the Brainerd neighborhood with six gunshot wounds. Deontae C. Jones, 18, was held on $1 million bail after appearing in Cook County bond court Sunday afternoon. Prosecutors said Jones approached a man who was outside his residence on the 9300 block of S. May St., checking to see if his recycling bin was full when Jones approached the man and fired at him. The victim began running away and fell to the ground, said Cook County Assistant State’s Attorney Naheda

The first family attended Easter services Sunday at the Nineteenth Street Baptist Church, a Northwest Washington congregation that welcomed the Obamas on the eve of the president’s first inauguration. The Obamas’ motorcade left the White House shortly before 10 a.m. (Snip) The motorcade pulled up to the church, about four miles away, just after 10. The first family arrived through a tented entrance and sat in the second pew in a mostly, but not completely filled church, joining an estimated 250 others. The president wore a light khaki suit. The first lady was wearing a cream dress and sweater. Daughters

CLEARWATER — In the mid-1970s, Wayne Phillips saw a television program telling the story of the Shroud of Turin, a centuries-old linen cloth that bears the image of a crucified man. At first, he was miffed. Years of Catholic schooling — Jesuit High School in Tampa and Notre Dame University — and he had never known about this artifact? (He would later learn that it was a delicate subject at the Vatican.) A doctor, he has a curious mind. A mind shaped by logic and by science. But as a Catholic, he understands some beliefs are still a mystery. He

For Hillary Clinton, having her own baby grandchild to kiss on the campaign trail, could be one of the biggest boosts to her possible presidential election campaign. Although the former Secretary of State and First Lady has not said if she will run in 2016, the arrival of her first grandchild will soften her image, analysts have said. While Chelsea only revealed her pregnancy on Thursday, supporters of her mother have already started cooing over a possible baby in the White House. With the Clintons having a near-royal status in the U.S., the announcement of a new arrival due this fall has sent

That was quite a victory dance President Obama did Thursday while claiming Obamacare is “working” because eight million people have now supposedly signed up for the health care program. He even indulged in some less-than-subtle mockery of Republicans - and by extension the majority of Americans who have disapproved of Obamacare since before it became law. "The repeal debate is and should be over,” Obama said, taking a dig at Republicans who are “going through, you know, the stages of grief … anger and denial and all that stuff …” But a president who is viewed by most Americans as less

GREENSBORO, Ga. — Golf holes the size of pizzas. Soccer balls on the back nine. A mulligan on every hole. These are some of the measures — some would say gimmicks — that golf courses across the country have experimented with to stop people from quitting the game. Golf has always reveled in its standards and rich tradition. But increasingly a victim of its own image and hidebound ways, golf has lost five million players in the last decade, according to the National Golf Foundation, with 20 percent of the existing 25 million golfers apt to quit in the next few years. People under 35 have especially spurned the game, saying it takes too

In a speech earlier this week, Lisa O. Monaco, President Barack Obama’s assistant for homeland security and counterterrorism, insisted that American parents must be vigilant because their “confrontational” children could be on the verge of becoming terrorists. Monaco’s full, prepared text is available here. She presented the speech, entitled “Countering Violent Extremism and the Power of Community,” at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government on April 15. Monaco began her remarks by eloquently describing the lives tragically lost last year during the Boston Marathon bombings. Interestingly, the Harvard grad failed to mention the religion or the motive of brothers Dzhokhar and Tamerlan

Hi, everybody. For millions of Americans, this time of year holds great meaning. Earlier this week, we hosted a Passover Seder at the White House, and joined Jewish families around the world in their re-tellings of the story of the Exodus and the victory of faith over oppression. And this Sunday, Michelle, Malia, Sasha, and I will join our fellow Christians around the world in celebrating the Resurrection of Christ, the salvation he offered the world, and the hope that comes with the Easter season. These holy days have their roots in miracles that took place long ago. And yet, they still inspire us, guide us, and strengthen us today. They remind us of our

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Thursday that a family of dissident ranchers and their supporters in his home state of Nevada are ´domestic terrorists,´ citing this week´s standoff with the federal government´s Bureau of Land Management. Cliven Bundy has refused to pay grazing fees for land where his hundreds of cattle roam every day. The land is owned by the federal government, which says he owes more than $1 million. Bundy, however, insists that since his family has been using the land since the 1870s, Uncle Sam can´t collect the grazing fees. A tense standoff developed this week after
