| President Obama has grown testy about reporters who have a “default position” that policy debates have two sides. “On almost every issue,” he recently told the New Republic, “it’s, ‘Well, Democrats and Republicans can’t agree’ — as opposed to looking at why is it that they can’t agree. Who exactly is preventing us from agreeing?” His insight is undeniable. If Republicans didn’t have all those pesky convictions and objections, agreement in Washington would come as surely as a river flows to the sea. This is the best description yet of Obama’s second-term governing

Nobody knows how many illegals are here. Obama´s water carriers in the liberal media have been putting out propaganda with the number 11 million, but in reality there could be 20 million. The liberal Democrats would not be pushing "a path to citizenship" that is liberal Democrat code for eventually granting most of them US voting rights if they were not historically certain that a large plurality of the legalized aliens would not one day become Democrat voters.
The bottom line for the Democrats will always be to facilitate ways to register as many of those legalized aliens as soon as possible so they can vote for the Democrats.
With such a massive influx of new voters the Democrats would always win States like Arizona, Florida and even Texas. Once that happens it will be a long downhill slide to long-term political suicide for the wimpy Republicans who will never again be able to win national elections.
All that will simply encourage millions of new illegal aliens to come into the USA. Once here those illegal aliens will also demand amnesty and in response the liberal Democrats will be only to happy to comply.

1986 Reagan gave amnesty to three million illegals and solved the problem once for all. (Well, I guess it wasn´t solved, so let´s try it again and again. It´s like banning assault weapons which did nothing to reduce crime.)
Let´s see! Somewhere I read that old saying, uh..., "doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results = insanity!"
Voting these same nutcases back in again and again, fits that definition also!

It certainly looks like he wants the entire country to be a ghetto...we will have gov. spending go thru the roof and we will support more and more til there is none left even for the lefties.....

I don´t think he wants a deal on anything. Its not who he is. He either votes Present or does the dictator thing.

Frankly his voting ´present´ is much easier to swallow... than his role doing the dick-tator thing. And to think that Hill is married to Bill....just saying.

Agree #3. Obama and the Lefties talk ´´middle class´´ this and that, but in the end, they walk the proletariat walk. A dumbed down, easily bamboozled proletariat makes life so much easier and certain for their superiors, the ruling elite. They´ve got their compliant, boot licking news media. They´ve got plenty of entitlement bread and mindless entertainment circuses for the masses. All they need now is a complete proletariat to go with it all.

These Chicago fairies think they are so clever. Of course he is ecstatic about the deal. What could be more exciting than 11 to 25 million new Democrap voters? He´s just doing some Kabuki to give Rubio´s RINOs some cover. You really think he wants to jump all over this deal and make it toxic for Rubio´s RINOS? Get real.

I really don´t think Obama was expecting to be upstaged by republicans on this,he thought sure there would be a fight so he could break out the old terms such as racists against them for not endorsing illegality.
Obama wants to make sure he gets credit for this and not congress or republican backers. He´s probably re working this speech today promoting something that has already been agreed to. He wanted credit for rousing public support against a partisan,do nothing congress.
Republicans are ready to agree on some gun restrictions but focus more on mental health.People that have extra long ammo clips will simply hide them in their backyard until needed. There will be new avenues for gun sales to avoid registration and government tracking..
People are waking up to the fact that being legal is becoming a suicide pact for the government knowing where every gun is except for criminals.

Thousands of activists rallied outside the Capitol on Wednesday to protest the IRS targeting of conservative and tea party groups, with many of the event’s speakers laying the blame for the fiasco squarely at the White House. The “Audit the IRS” rally, organized by the Tea Party Patriots organization in response to the agency’s improper scrutiny of conservative groups applying for tax-exempt status, drew members and leaders of tea party groups across the country, radio personality Glenn Beck and the Senate’s tea party trio: Republicans Rand Paul of Kentucky, Mike Lee of Utah and Ted Cruz of Texas

The government’s chief auditor on Wednesday said President Obama’s health care overhaul is in danger of missing key October deadlines, raising concerns it could be the nightmare that Republicans and even some Democratic lawmakers have feared of late. In one study released Wednesday, the Government Accountability Office offered a mixed review of the Obama administration efforts to make sure the “exchanges” — insurance markets where individuals and businesses can shop for health plans — will be open for enrollment

DENVER — College campuses are known for proudly proclaiming their refusal to tolerate discrimination against any minority group, but try telling that to a conservative. Few would disagree that conservative professors are an endangered species on campus, which is why the University of Colorado Board of Regents is scheduled to consider Thursday a resolution that would prohibit discrimination based on “political affiliation or political philosophy.” Regent James Geddes said the proposed policy change is aimed at bringing more diversity of intellectual thought

Journalist Michael Hastings was killed early Tuesday morning in a bizarre car incident in Los Angeles. Hastings, 33, was best known for writing the Rolling Stone story that ended in Gen. Stanley McChrystal’s resignation as head of U.S. forces in Afghanistan. Hastings’ final story, “Why Democrats Love to Spy on Americans,” was a searing take on the NSA snooping scandal, which Hastings described as “North Korea-esque.” Hastings pulled no punches as he linked the NSA scandal to the Department of Justice’s spying on reporters and the IRS abuse scandal. Hastings built a case that the same Democrats who turned Bush-era

An IRS supervisor working in Washington told congressional investigators that she personally reviewed applications from groups for tax-exempt status, in testimony that appears to show the agency’s scrutiny of conservative groups extended beyond the confines of the office in Cincinnati. Holly Paz, who was a supervisor in the Internal Revenue Service’s tax-exempt status division, indicated during an interview with congressional investigators that she did review such applications, but indicated that she believed “tea party” meant political advocacy in general — not necessarily conservative groups.

Political appointees at the Defense Department, the CIA and the White House brushed aside concerns from career officials about helping two Hollywood filmmakers research their 2012 movie about the top-secret Navy SEAL raid that killed Osama bin Laden, according to a report from the Pentagon’s inspector general. CIA Director Leon E. Panetta, who had been nominated to take over at the Pentagon; Mike Vickers, defense undersecretary for intelligence; and politically appointed public affairs staff in both agencies and the White House helped secure

The Supreme Court ruled today in Arizona v. Inter Tribal Council that federal law does not allow states the option of requiring voters to prove they are American citizens when they register to vote. The National Voter Registration Act of 1993 (NVRA, or “Motor Voter”) creates a standardized national system for registering to vote in federal elections. It allows for registration three ways: (1) in person, (2) when you get your driver’s license, or (3) by mail. The Election Assistance Commission (EAC, created by a later federal law in 2002)

A group of whistleblowers, including a number of aviation experts, have come forward in a new documentary to claim that the official explanation for the crash of TWA Flight 800 was wrong and a gas tank explosion did not bring down the flight off the coast of Long Island 17 years ago. However, the six whistleblowers, all part of the original investigation team, stopped short of saying the plane was shot down. Flight 800, a Boeing 747, had just taken off from JFK airport with 230 people aboard on July 17, 1996 enroute to Paris when it exploded

An attorney whose firm represents two Benghazi whistleblowers said Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, lied to the Senate when he said there was never a “stand down” order during the Benghazi attack on Sept. 11, 2012. “What was fascinating is that he explained his lie to them,” Joe DiGenova, an attorney representing one of the whistleblowers, told CNSNews.com. “He actually said they were sent to Tripoli. They were needed in Benghazi,” said DiGenova, a former U.S. attorney, now with the Washington firm of DiGenova & Toensing.

Likening religious schools to segregation--a racist system that forced blacks to attend different schools and use different facilities than whites in the American South--President Barack Obama told a town hall meeting for youth in Belfast, Northern Ireland on Monday that there should not be Catholic and Protestant schools because such schools cause division. "Because issues like segregated schools and housing, lack of jobs and opportunity--symbols of history that are a source of pride for some and pain for others--these are not tangential to peace; they’re essential to it,"

Listening to Barack Obama give his speech in Belfast on Monday, it was hard not to stifle a yawn. I kept waiting for the part when he would say something interesting, but, about three quarters of the way through, realised it wasn’t going to come. Judging from television pictures some of his young audience felt the same, after the initial rush of euphoria of receiving the rock star president in their midst had passed. This is not surprising, for we had already heard this number about the inspirational role of the Northern Ireland peace process and the Emerald Isle’s

Celebrity chef Paula Deen admitted in a recorded deposition to telling racist jokes, using the N-word, and planning a slavery-themed wedding, according to multiple reports. The May 17 deposition where she made the alleged admissions is part of a $1.2 million lawsuit brought by Lisa Jackson, the former manager of a Savannah, Georgia, restaurant run by Deen and her brother Bubba Hiers. Jackson alleges in the suit that Deen used the N-word at the restaurant and that Hiers sexually harassed her. According to the reports, in the deposition, Deen replied “Yes, of course,”

Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. "Really, what we´re trying to do is take sides against extremists of all sorts and in favor of people who are in favor of moderation, tolerance, representative government, and over the long-term, stability and prosperity for the people of Syria," said Obama.

Marco Rubio. Paul Ryan. The IRS. Illegal immigration. And fraud to the tune of billions.. Now there’s a combustible mix. Let’s start with the IRS, illegal immigration and fraud. We’ll come back in a minute to Senator Rubio and Congressman Ryan. For those who came in late, a year before the IRS scandals burst onto the scene in early May of 2013, an alert investigative reporter for WTHR-Indianapolis (Channel 13), Bob Segall by name, produced a stunning piece of journalism. Segall’s video report is found here and we will quote from his story for the basics.
