| Say what you will about George W. Bush…He never complained about the media coverage he received. But here is President Obama, riding high off victories in the general election (first Democratic to receive a majority vote in two straight contests since FDR) and the fiscal cliff (marginalizing John Boehner and fracturing the Republican Party in the process) inexplicably talking about Fox News, Rush Limbaugh and lamenting how the poor state of discourse in political media today is affecting compromise in Washington. This is one of the fairest articles I have read on Mediaite. Mr. Concha points out that one of the writers of the article on 0bama had such a major role in Obama’s 2008 campaign that he earned a cover story in Fast Company magazine titled “The Kid Who Made Obama President." No bias there. s/o

What oratory skills? Obama is a halting, annoying speaker who can´t even read a teleprompter correctly. Even a corpse-man (corpsman) could do better.
Obama won´t be happy until his photo is everywhere and all his subjects (that is us) are mindless followers of his wise rule.

No one died as a result of policies Nixon advanced. There was no Fast and Furious or messed up Middle East policies that resulted with people murdered thanks to Barrack & Hillary.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services says it wants as many as 20 percent of its workers to "telework," use an "alternative work schedule," or do both, in order to "reduce green house gas emissions," decrease "employee stress," and give these government workers more time for "planning and preparing healthy meals." So says one of the HHS "performance measures" detailed in an appendix to the department´s latest strategic plan. HHS´s performance measure "4.D.05" says: "Increase the percent employees on telework or on Alternative Work Schedule." Telework means working from home via phone and computer.

WASHINGTON - There were new questions Saturday night concerning if anyone in the White House was aware of the IRS´ targeting of conservative groups. Inspector General Russell George said he informed a deputy at the Treasury Department in June of 2012 about the probe into the IRS. The Treasury Department confirmed the timeline but said they did not know the details of the investigation until last week.(Snip)Marcus Owens ran the tax-exempt division at the IRS for 10 years. He said it isn´t difficult to figure out who´s doing what at the agency.

It began in earnest last Friday. A flash mob of latte drinking, tofu eating media that has done its best to quell, rather than fan the flames of truth, turned on one of their own. Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Friday urged congressional leaders to raise the debt limit and insisted that the White House is not going to negotiate over the increase because lawmakers have "no choice." "We will not negotiate over the debt limit," Lew wrote. "The creditworthiness of the United States is non-negotiable. The question of whether the country must pay obligations it has already incurred is not open to debate."
