Or maybe you buy a "Harbowl" hat. But after you buy it -- and this is the terrifying part -- you learn this "Harbowl" shirt is not official merchandise of the National Football League. NFL owners and teir lackey, the silver spoon fed son of a freeloading US senator, Roger Goodell, are ruining te game, and are nothing but greedy sloths, for the most part.
Their tax and antitrust exemptions are a slap in all of ur faces, and should be abolished.

@#1: Remove the antitrust regulation from professional sports and women would have to be included in pro baseball, football, basketball, etc. That means all labor laws would apply. Those with disabilities would have to be given a chance to try out also. Separate bathrooms and showers would have to be built. Sexual harassment policies would need to be written, etc. You get the point.

The NFL has had an ironclad lock on Superbowl for years. And an army of lawyers scouring everything to make sure noone uses it with permission and $$$. Why do you think all the ads leading up to the Superbowl advertise specials for "The Big Game"?

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services says it wants as many as 20 percent of its workers to "telework," use an "alternative work schedule," or do both, in order to "reduce green house gas emissions," decrease "employee stress," and give these government workers more time for "planning and preparing healthy meals." So says one of the HHS "performance measures" detailed in an appendix to the department´s latest strategic plan. HHS´s performance measure "4.D.05" says: "Increase the percent employees on telework or on Alternative Work Schedule." Telework means working from home via phone and computer.

Bloodletting, in the form of firings, dismissals, resignation, and expulsions, is a tribal rite in political Washington. It is most often used by the powerful on anyone less powerful as a symbolic sacrifice. Steven Miller, the now former acting commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service, is the latest victim of ritual sacrifice. This week the Obama White House demanded his resignation to demonstrate the president’s “anger” at news that the IRS targeted conservative groups applying for tax-exempt status for added review and slow approval. Next, we’ll watch as Congress takes up the bloodletting knife.

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Friday urged congressional leaders to raise the debt limit and insisted that the White House is not going to negotiate over the increase because lawmakers have "no choice." "We will not negotiate over the debt limit," Lew wrote. "The creditworthiness of the United States is non-negotiable. The question of whether the country must pay obligations it has already incurred is not open to debate." The lawmaker leading the charge to investigate the Benghazi terror attack on Friday subpoenaed the co-author of a report that slammed the State Department but didn´t interview Hillary Clinton. House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) formally demanded that retired ambassador Thomas Pickering submit to being deposed by the committee next Thursday. The subpoena comes in the wake of a series of acrimonious public exchanges this week between the two men.
