Greta Van Susteren to Interview
Hillary Tuesday Night

Breitbart´s Big Journalism, by John Nolte

Original Article

What a media era we live in where Fox News´ Greta Van Susteren will have to pull her punches with outgoing Secretary of State Hillary Clinton if she´s to avoid being pilloried by everyone else in media. My guess, though, is that Greta will go for it and that we´ll learn more from her interview Tuesday night than we will from all the other networks combined. Hillary is also granting NBC, CNN, and ABC the opportunity this week to give her a tongue bath, like the one CBS News´

Comments:
That should be interesting. O´Reilly must be seething that he didn´t get that interview. When will 0bama appear with Greta? Never.

Go Greta. Don´t let the truth down

She should have had Beth Holloway on the case when Hillary went missing for several weeks.

I´ll watch this. It´s the only shot we have at getting a real questioned asked. I´m amazed Hillary deigned to do it.

Reply 4 - Posted by: lakerman1, 1/28/2013 11:41:18 AM     (No. 9144154)

I trust Greta to try to go for truth.
Greta was the only news person to treat Sarah Palin properly in 2008.
Let´s see what happens.

I would suggest this question for Hillary -
When you were traveling one million miles to 114 countries, who was in charge back in D.C. at the State Department?

And why were you excluded from everything about the benghazi attack? Were you offended when the president didn´t consult you? Were you offended when he selected Susan Rice to do the sunday shows? Did you talk to her before the shows? After the shows?

Reply 5 - Posted by: Philipsonh, 1/28/2013 11:43:37 AM     (No. 9144163)

The first question should be, " have you ever lied in public? " . Then Hillary can walk off the set.

This interview will be a test for Greta and Fox. If Greta doesn´t come on strong or if she allows Hillary´s rehearsed histrionics to frame the debate, Fox will be a big loser.

Reply 7 - Posted by: Linder, 1/28/2013 11:46:31 AM     (No. 9144171)

I have great respect for Greta. She asks real questions of both Republicans and Democrats and does it with class...never snarky.

I don´t know if I can watch because HRC along with the impostor in chief cause me to complain of violent indigestion; also I have come to the conclusion that Greta does do good interviews, no soft balling - I don´t want to be disappointed. An above poster believes this will be a pivotal point for both Greta and Fox to survive as real journalists for the truth. I wish Greta the fortitude to uphold her convictions against a known devious schemer.

Reply 9 - Posted by: brutus, 1/28/2013 12:00:02 PM     (No. 9144201)

I sm not sure if this will be an objective interview. Greta has said that her husband was one of Bill Clinton´s lawyers. She also told McCain that he was rough on Hilliary during the Bengazi Senate hearings last week.

No interview without providing the questions in advance.

Here´s a question for Greta to ask during the January 29th interview..."Madame Secretary, you once said ´Bill is a hard dog to keep on the porch.´ Could you elaborate on that statement for our TV audience?"

Finally, maybe a real question will be asked instead of that butt kissing exhibition on cbs.

Let´s not kid ourselves. Way above average deference will be shown to Hillary or "her people" would have never allowed this sit down. That said, I am with #4. I think Greta will be as aggressive as she possibly can be. Go Greta. We are pulling for you!

Reply 15 - Posted by: Philipsonh, 1/28/2013 12:53:46 PM     (No. 9144353)

Millions of viewers will be turned off, including the Channel, if Ms VS does NOT ask the hard questions that she should. That is why we will watch. Anything else, FCN goes straight to the dustbin of history for us. i stopped watching most of the programs a year ago because of the "fair and balanced" garbage and the left-wing guests/hosts like Mr Williams and Mr Beckel, who defy reality.

Reply 16 - Posted by: master sergeant, 1/28/2013 12:54:57 PM     (No. 9144355)

Greta WILL NOT ask the tough Benghazi questions or the tough "Arab Spring" questions. Greta will kiss Hag Clinton fat backside just like the others!! As previously indicated - Hag Clinton´s people have set the limits of any interview. This will be another joke!

Reply 17 - Posted by: msjena, 1/28/2013 1:13:23 PM     (No. 9144394)

Greta was a Hillary fan before she was a Sarah fan. That said, she usually is not afraid to ask the tough questions.

If any of you really think that Greta is going to go after Miss Clinton, you´re completely out of your mind. This softball interview is to open the lines of communication with "the dark side" and lay the groundwork for Hillary 2016. Bet on it.

Hillary is so going to run for President in 2016. All these TV interviews are just a precursor to her prepping up for the big job.

After IRS, Benghazi scandals,
public trust shifts to GOP

The Democratic Party´s edge over the GOP on who the public trusts more on ethics and corruption issues has flipped in the wake of the IRS and Benghazi scandals, according to Rasmussen Reports. Not only do voters trust Republicans more now, they have their highest level of confidence in the GOP and the lowest level in Democrats in seven months. While the Democrats had an eight-point "trust advantage" over Republicans a month ago, Rasmussen´s latest poll said that edge has disappeared and now the GOP has a two-point advantage. Treasury Secretary Jack Lew told the Senate Banking Committee Tuesday the IRS has to be "beyond politics," and he warned that the "cure could be worse than the disease" if that line is crossed in the attempt to fix the agency´s problems. "The thing I will not do -- I will not cross that line into the administration of the tax system, because the cure could be worse than the disease. We need to make sure there´s no political involvement in the administration of the tax system," Lew said. And while the treasury secretary is responsible for

Danger. Danger. Al Qaeda’s Syrian wing also known as “rebels” bent on overthrowing Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad (mirroring the Saudi, the Obama administration and Republican Senator John McCain’s position), have taken over the oilfields that once belonged to Assad. If that wasn’t bad enough it gets worse. We are a hair trigger away from World War III. Reportedly Assad is preparing missile strikes against Tel Aviv if Syria is attacked again. Meanwhile, back in Obama’s America, don’t call Libya’s weapon recovery program “buyback” that then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton funded using $40 million of your tax dollars

The current scene doesn´t look so great. We´ve got the Benghazi scandal, which Bob Woodward has compared to Watergate, we´ve got the IRS scandal, where Democratic members of Congress are saying the IRS director lied, we´ve got the FBI AP-snooping scandal, we´ve got the HHS "private donation" shakedown scandal, and, of course, there´s the still-unfolding Pigford scandal that has funneled billions to grifters. It seems like everything is in tatters. And, in a way, it is. But serious as these problems are, they´re all short-term things. So while at the moment a lot of our political leaders

Former Democratic National committee chairman Howard Dean considers the controversy over Benghazi a “joke” and “silly.” “Benghazi is a laughable joke,” Dean proclaimed twice in a discussion with Republican National Committee communications chairman Sean Spicer last week. “With all due respect, governor, when four Americans die serving this country, that’s not a joke, sir,” Spicer responded. “Oh, stop it,” said Dean. The former Democratic presidential candidate also said that there were “no serious questions being asked about Benghazi” and brushed it off as an effort by Republicans to score political points.

IRS Scandal: Outgoing Chief
Says Planted Question His Idea

In Tuesday´s Senate hearings into the ever-widening IRS scandal, outgoing IRS chief, Steve Miller, acknowledged that the planted question that broke the story last week was his idea. The "planted question" refers to the way in which the IRS chose to release the findings of the Inspector General´s report a week ago Friday. It was an unusual way to deliver bad news, even in a town known for its selective leaks, Friday-night news dumps and wag-the-dog distractions. The Internal Revenue Service, apparently determined to get out ahead of an inspector general report critical of its handling of tax exemptions

Cybercrime breaches $1 trillion

Cybercrime and efforts to thwart computer attacks have finally crossed the $1 trillion a year line and Chinese sources are to blame for 89 percent of the high-tech assaults, according to a leading computer security executive and the National Security Administration. The wave of attacks has surged in the past three years to such a level, however, that efforts to defend and fight back haven´t kept up, prompting officials to call for international treaties to cover cyberspace, sanctions on countries that attack U.S. databases and even computer revenge. According to David DeWalt, chairman of the computer

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. Newly obtained court documents “reveal how deeply investigators explored the private communications of a working journalist — and raise the question of how often journalists have been investigated as closely as Rosen was in 2010.” Reporter Ann Marimow began:

A senior adviser to President Obama mounted a combative defense of the administration on Sunday, saying the controversies enveloping the White House were the result of Republican lawmakers’ trying to “drag Washington into a swamp of partisan fishing expeditions, trumped-up hearings and false allegations.”The remarks came from Dan Pfeiffer, a member of the president’s inner circle, as he appeared on all five major Sunday morning talk shows in an effort to move the administration past what commentators have described as a “hell week” of controversy and missteps.

One of the questions was whether he/she was concerned about unsecured weapons in the home.
