| Did you see the ABC News interview with Democrat Sen. Bob Menendez? ABC News recently promoted Martha Raddatz to become its chief global affairs correspondent. On Sunday she interviewed Menendez, who is embroiled in a global affairs story of his own. Specifically, he is accused of having sex with underage prostitutes in the Dominican Republic. That story isn’t a mere accusation. It is supported with email trail evidence, among other things. During the entire six-minute interview, Raddatz never once asked Menendez about his global affair. Not one time. The obvious inference is, because Menendez is a Democrat,

Don´t you know? That´s just one of the perks of being a democrat. Even the most vile and disgusting of human caricatures, get media protection, and a "get out of jail free" card. And all they have to do is put a (D) next to their name and promise to toe the line on liberal causes.

Naturally it is because everyone knows that Democrats have no morals or ethics, so why bother asking them hard questions about it. Conservatives, on the other hand, are held to a much higher standard, because they actually have some standards of behavior.

In the wee hours of the morning of January 27, 2013, a Wikipedia editor named “Qworty” made a series of 14 separate edits to the Wikipedia page for the late writer Barry Hannah, a well-regarded Southern writer with a taste for the Gothic and absurd. Qworty cut paragraphs that included quotes from Hannah’s work. He removed 20 links to interviews, obituaries and reminiscences concerning Hannah. He cut out a list of literary prizes Hannah had won. BOISE -- An Uzbekistan national arrested in Boise has pleaded not guilty in federal court to charges he conspired with a terrorist group on a scheme to use a weapon of mass destruction. Fazliddin Kurbanov, 30, appeared before a federal judge at 8:30 a.m. He used an interpreter over the phone to communicate his not-guilty plea. WASHINGTON - There were new questions Saturday night concerning if anyone in the White House was aware of the IRS´ targeting of conservative groups. Inspector General Russell George said he informed a deputy at the Treasury Department in June of 2012 about the probe into the IRS. The Treasury Department confirmed the timeline but said they did not know the details of the investigation until last week.(Snip)Marcus Owens ran the tax-exempt division at the IRS for 10 years. He said it isn´t difficult to figure out who´s doing what at the agency.

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Friday urged congressional leaders to raise the debt limit and insisted that the White House is not going to negotiate over the increase because lawmakers have "no choice." "We will not negotiate over the debt limit," Lew wrote. "The creditworthiness of the United States is non-negotiable. The question of whether the country must pay obligations it has already incurred is not open to debate." The lawmaker leading the charge to investigate the Benghazi terror attack on Friday subpoenaed the co-author of a report that slammed the State Department but didn´t interview Hillary Clinton. House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) formally demanded that retired ambassador Thomas Pickering submit to being deposed by the committee next Thursday. The subpoena comes in the wake of a series of acrimonious public exchanges this week between the two men. Issa didn´t issue a subpoena to former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Michael Mullen, who co-authored the Benghazi report with Pickering.
